Three garden terraces turn the Hotel du Collectionneur into an oasis just north of the Champs-Elysees. The hotel's glamorous Art Deco style is inspired by transatlantic cruise liners of the 1930s – green marble, antiques and elaborate period prints adorn the hallways, and top floor rooms have small balconies from which to behold the city below. Sip on absinthe in an alcove at the glitzy Purple Bar, watching life go by on Rue de Courcelles.

Beautiful hotel, very friendly service, Mohamad was very hospitable and helpful at check in- the rooms are very clean- bags were brought to our room. Hotel is located super close to Arc Triumph- looking forward to exploring the city!

Enjoyed the location and size of room. Breakfast was expansive. Staff all very friendly and professional. Felt a bit like a large hotel and 2 of 4 lifts were out but overall a good place to stay. Room was clean with just funny discolored marble in entryway/bathroom. Lobby was busy and needed more seating. Hotel caters to a lot of people.

Received fairly bad service several times during the stay. Front Desk was almost argumentative that I was wrong that there was no hair dryer in my room. Twice they told me to look under the safe. Did they think I didn't do it the first time? Completely my fault, but I had a small bit of money stolen from bag as I left it out and should have locked it up in the safe. But it took management 12 hours to even acknowledge it when I both told the front desk and reported it through the app. Room is tired, nothing remarkable but comfortable enough. Waiting for the elevators was a challenge every time. Took sometimes almost 10 minutes as the hotel was full and at least one of the elevators was always broken. Painfully slow service from The Bar as well, though the food and drinks were good.

I moved to this hotel for a business conference after staying at a different and amazing 5 star hotel with my husband. This is more like a 3 or 4 star hotel. 2/4 elevators were broken during my entire stay, the bathrooms are very small and have room for only 1 person, there is nowhere to hang towels and the beds are definitely not 5 star hotel beds. Had this been considered a 3 or 4 star, I may not have been so disappointed.
