Three garden terraces turn the Hotel du Collectionneur into an oasis just north of the Champs-Elysees. The hotel's glamorous Art Deco style is inspired by transatlantic cruise liners of the 1930s – green marble, antiques and elaborate period prints adorn the hallways, and top floor rooms have small balconies from which to behold the city below. Sip on absinthe in an alcove at the glitzy Purple Bar, watching life go by on Rue de Courcelles.

i wanted to love this 5 star hotel but that’s not the case. Did not like the room layout..the closet and basin area did not have a door and did not accommodate any privacy. After shower there was not one hook anywhere to hang my wet towel. When we arrived we had a 3-4 hour wait for the room..I went to the bar and got a glass of wine to the lobby to sit with my husband. I got scolded by a worker who told me “drinking on the lobby is against policy”! Later when i needed change for a Euro, the front desk told me they were “out of money “ and could not help. While all of these “little” things might not matter individually , they were enough to ensure I would not return. Oh, and the male concierge was snippy.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately our stay at Hôtel du Collectionneur Paris fell far below expectations for a hotel of this standard. From the outset, there was a significant issue with the bedding arrangements. What should have been a simple matter to resolve turned into a frustrating experience, requiring multiple phone calls and repeated follow-ups before any action was taken. This lack of responsiveness was both surprising and unacceptable. More concerning was the way the situation was handled by staff. Communication was inconsistent, and at times dismissive, leaving us feeling unheard and unsupported. As a family travelling with children, this added unnecessary stress to what was meant to be an important and enjoyable trip. Despite escalating the matter after our stay and allowing the hotel ample opportunity to address the issues, the final response was disappointing. A €70 credit was offered, which does not reflect the inconvenience, disruption, and overall impact on our stay. This is marketed as a luxury hotel, but based on our experience, both the service standards and the handling of guest concerns fell well short of what one would reasonably expect. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and improves both its service delivery and approach to resolving guest issues

The concierge service at Hotel du Collectionaire is excellent! Emma and Benjamin efficiently helped me with tours and restaurant reservations.

The location of his hotel is its biggest selling point. Central and close enough to walk everywhere, which is great. The only real downside is that I found the room small, and the structure of the ensuite bathroom weird. The sink and wardrobe are in the open area adjoining the room, and the WC and shower/bath are separated by a door. So, if you're with your partner, you want to shield them from the noise of brushing your teeth, etc., in the morning, which is next to impossible.

My experience at L'Hotel du Collectionneur was absolutely amazing. The service was truly remarkable, with incredible attention to detail. We felt so welcomed! From the moment you step into the gorgeous lobby, you can feel a sense of true luxury. The room was spacious and comfortable, with beautiful welcome amenities that enhanced the stay as soon as we entered the room. The bar, restaurant and spa facilities were stunning. I would be honoured to return and would like to thank the whole team for being such an integral part of our incredible stay!
