The Hotel du Collectionneur in Paris, France

Three garden terraces turn the Hotel du Collectionneur into an oasis just north of the Champs-Elysees. The hotel's glamorous Art Deco style is inspired by transatlantic cruise liners of the 1930s – green marble, antiques and elaborate period prints adorn the hallways, and top floor rooms have small balconies from which to behold the city below. Sip on absinthe in an alcove at the glitzy Purple Bar, watching life go by on Rue de Courcelles.

Enjoy a croissant and coffee in the courtyard among fountains, cypress hedges, rosebushes and palm trees. Boutique-hop along the Champs-Elysées and browse the permanent collection at the Petit Palais. Relax in the spa's Oriental Steam Room after a Carita anti-aging facial. End the day with sphère de saumon fume served on the plant-walled terrace. The utopia of a Parisian vacation lies within the grounds of the Hotel du Collectionneur.

We arrived for a 3 night stay in Paris. It was my third time in Paris and for my wife her first. We were celebrating our ten year wedding anniversary. Marie the lady at the front desk was kind enough to give us an upgrade to the executive suite on the 5th floor. Shortly after arriving to our room we had received a complementary bottle of champagne with a hand written note from Marie. The concierge staff was also very helpful. They offered some good restaurant recommendations, dinner cruise options and booked us two tickets for the Moulan Rouge. Rooms were clean, location is great (10 minute walk to arc de triomphe) and staff is very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Take enough time when you need to leave the room, poor elevators and several inefficiencies (card issues), poor breakfast welcoming/management. Expensive for the quality. Reception did a good job once realized a mistake had been done.

This was my fourth visit to Paris and decided to stay at a different hotel this time. We loved the location of the hotel. Not only was the location perfect but the staff made our visit most enjoyable. The staff is top notch, they are professional and personable. Kudos to L'Hotel Du Collectionneur.

A very stylish and well located hotel. Front desk service and concierge very qualified and helpful. Rooms are very comfortable and beds are great. The cleaning was very bad though. Not that it was dirty but they forgot to clean our room when we got back in the evening leaving the breakfast tray from room service that morning. Other guests even left their dirty glasses and plates in the hall way and they were not even picked within 12 hours. Also the spa area was a joke. This should be a quiet area. Instead there were a couple of guys playing with their phones and watching videos. While staff was present they did not say anything about it. Such a pity that these two important things of this beautiful hotel brings the rating down.
