The Hotel du Collectionneur in Paris, France
Three garden terraces turn the Hotel du Collectionneur into an oasis just north of the Champs-Elysees. The hotel's glamorous Art Deco style is inspired by transatlantic cruise liners of the 1930s – green marble, antiques and elaborate period prints adorn the hallways, and top floor rooms have small balconies from which to behold the city below. Sip on absinthe in an alcove at the glitzy Purple Bar, watching life go by on Rue de Courcelles.
Enjoy a croissant and coffee in the courtyard among fountains, cypress hedges, rosebushes and palm trees. Boutique-hop along the Champs-Elysées and browse the permanent collection at the Petit Palais. Relax in the spa's Oriental Steam Room after a Carita anti-aging facial. End the day with sphère de saumon fume served on the plant-walled terrace. The utopia of a Parisian vacation lies within the grounds of the Hotel du Collectionneur.

Reviews for The Hotel du Collectionneur
We arrived around 10am on Monday after the usual gruelling hours on the plane from Australia to be told that our booking was for Wednesday not Monday. We had booked and paid for 2 extra days prior to our API tour/cruise and very fortunately API had listed the fact in our programme booklet they had issued to us. Even so it took a good 45 minutes sitting in the very impressive lobby before we were told we now had a room which we were very happy with - and a view of the street - no matter. Most other minor annoyances were dealt with efficiently by the staff - I can't say that we were like some of the previous reviewers - being on first name basis with the staff. In total we stayed there from Monday to Saturday. The Concierge for us, with the only task that we asked him, failed us, which resulted in my friend missing the Eurostar train to London which we had booked and paid for 5 months prior because he told her to take a taxi after 7am to the Gare du Nord on the morning there was a transport strike in Paris .She missed the train. We had paid 160Euro return each for the tickets and to buy new tickets for another day cost 400 Euro each so needless to say we didn't get to London. The breakfasts were wonderful and we ate out for our other meals. The café across the street from the Hotel was handy, food was good and service quick and the owner/manager friendly but firm. (he had you served quickly and if the place was busy made it clear that you should eat and leave!)

My husband & I just arrived home after a wonderful stay in Paris. Everyone at Hotel du Collectionneur was wonderful. Since we were celebrating not only our anniversary but we we were visiting the spot where we got engaged, they upgraded us to a balcony room and made the trip even more special. This is a fantastic location in Paris!! We highly recommend it. Thank you!!

Very clean, upscale hotel a few minutes walk to the Arch de Triomphe where you can easily connect to the Metro or to lovely shopping and restaurants. You can even walk to the Eiffel Tower..about a 40 minute scenic stroll. The check-in was very smooth and the concierge very helpful and friendly. We loved the breakfast ( avoid the fake scrambled eggs) and the coffee was superb! The rooms on the rear top floor have a little balcony and a calming ,quiet view of the gardens.
