About the Hotel
Three garden terraces turn the Hotel du Collectionneur into an oasis just north of the Champs-Elysees. The hotel's glamorous Art Deco style is inspired by transatlantic cruise liners of the 1930s – green marble, antiques and elaborate period prints adorn the hallways, and top floor rooms have small balconies from which to behold the city below. Sip on absinthe in an alcove at the glitzy Purple Bar, watching life go by on Rue de Courcelles.

Music so load my room vibrated
Music so load that the coffee machine in my room vibrated. On asking reception, was told “there is nothing we can do as it is an event of the owners” and will go until 1am, on a Tuesday night. Will not stay there again.

Paris The Gate Collection Hotel
We had a great experience overall. Being part of a Viking River Cruise group meant that Viking took care of the hotel booking. The breakfast buffet was acceptable, typical of what you'd find with group bookings. I'm convinced individual travelers would have a far better time. The menu at the Lounge was good for a quick bite in the evening paired with drinks and pleasant conversation. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for two people. Our standout experience was interacting with concierge Matthias, who gave us fantastic insider information on where to dine and visit.

Fabulous pool and spa!
Fantastic pool and spa! Jennifer and Sofia were incredibly helpful and very professional! I swim laps daily and this was the nicest hotel pool I’ve had the pleasure to swim at. Many thanks, merci beaucoup Jennifer and Sofia for a lovely experience!!

A great place to stay
When I arrived, they treated me as if I had stayed here many times. They were absolutely wonderful. I was even upgraded to a suite and the suite is gorgeous. Mael checked me in and even brought me up to my room. He was so gracious. I have never found any place as or anyone as wonderful as here. When you come, ask for Mael. He’ll take good care of you.
