Three garden terraces turn the Hotel du Collectionneur into an oasis just north of the Champs-Elysees. The hotel's glamorous Art Deco style is inspired by transatlantic cruise liners of the 1930s – green marble, antiques and elaborate period prints adorn the hallways, and top floor rooms have small balconies from which to behold the city below. Sip on absinthe in an alcove at the glitzy Purple Bar, watching life go by on Rue de Courcelles.

Quite simply, a beautiful, fantastic hotel, which has found the balance between perfectionist luxury and friendly warmth, thanks to its hotel staff who are always impeccably professional whilst remaining real. The concierges are smiling mines of information, the bellboys work magic with our suitcases, the housekeepers clean the rooms beautifully with real care and attention. The restaurant and bar team felt like friends after 2 services. The breakfasts are sensational: the on-spot eggs team get a special mention for their willingness to add chilli pepper to my morning omelette! My favourite hotel in Paris from now on.

Easy 20 minute walk to Gallerie Lafayette. After exploring Notre Dame area, we managed to walk back to hotel exploring shops and cafe along the way. We found stationary shops for some unique postcards, dropped by the post office to have them mailed back home. Hotel rooms were comfortable. We stayed in a twin room facing the street. It was quiet at night. Downside for us was the bath tub which could be slippery. Best to request non-slip bath mat. The hotel restaurant LE COLLECTIONNEUR served a most delicious lunch with seasonal fresh ingredients sourced locally. I highly recommend.

The hotel is lovely! The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was immaculate, and the cleaning staff was non-intrusive but did an exceptional job! We only dined for breakfast, but the buffets were amazing! The location is also quite easy to navigate!

Beautiful and well located Hotel. Diane a waitress in the bar was responsible for our more than memorable last night experience n Paris while having drinks, dinner and dessert.
