Warning: this is NOT a 5 star hotel. I stayed here for 2 nights in June 2026. I booked this hotel because it is advertised as a 5 star hotel with a great location. Pros: Service - responsive and attentive. Location - you can walk everywhere easily. Cons: The horrid smell - the entire hotel smells like burning meat fat. When you walk in to the hotel it's pungent and incredibly off putting. Your clothing and hair immediately absorbs the stench. It's dirty - this hotel is tired. The furniture, tapestries, lamp shades and paint need to be updated, cleaned and/or repaired and replaced. Everything in our room was grimy and it made it difficult to relax. You can visibly see how dirty everything is. No gym on site - there is a gym off property for a daily fee of 35 EUR (or something atrocious like that). Room category - I booked a Deluxe room and ended up with no view. I looked out to another building and a gravel courtyard. My advise, don't stay here.

Hotel Marignan exceeded our expectations. Our room was spacious with a view of the Eiffel Tower and was modern with nice appointments. The entire hotel staff was gracious and went out of their way to assist us and make us feel comfortable. It is in a great location and quiet, even though it’s just off the Champs-Elysees. And it’s very convenient to the metro. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommended this property.

We had a Deluxe room for 5 nights. The hotel is nice, but our room was quirky. It had a small toilet room just off the bedroom and a staircase up to a large bathroom with a soaking tub, shower, and second toilet room. The ceiling in the hallway leading to the room was low - I'm 5' tall and could touch it with my hand. The room itself was comfortable and the shower very nice. Breakfast was terrific - we looked forward to it every morning. I'd seen other reviewers talk about a rooftop bar with views of the Eiffel Tower. That is not open anymore which was a disappointment. It's very convenient to the Metro and shopping.

The perfect place to stay! The hotel itself is nice and spotless - but it is the staff who made our trip truly memorable! Every single person we met from the front desk to the housekeeping staff to the waiters and waitresses in the restaurant went above and beyond to provide excellent service. The food was delicious. The housekeeping staff decorated my room with balloons and dessert for my birthday. Such a treat! Located where you can walk to most anything! Thank you all for making our Paris vacation memorable in every way! Merci!

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Marignan Champs-Elysees for nine days during April 2026. The hotel stay was superb in every way; booking, reception, the modern and well appointed room and the standout breakfast each and every day. Having a healthy and varied English style breakfast, served by an English speaking staff cannot be overstated. Staying at the Marignan was a vacation in its self however the hotel’s central location allowed easy access to the Eiffel Tower, river cruises, the fashion district, the Arc de Triumph and Louvre. Around the clock taxis were available for the distant sites and to connect with shuttles for Versailles. Bottom line, great accommodations, superior staff and we were able to access the top Paris sites without a rental car or needing public transportation.
