Reviews for Hotel Pont Royal
I absolutely loved this hotel. The location was perfect and the staff was amazing. Whenever we left we were greeted and asked if we needed help and directions. The lobby is lovely and the rooms are very nice. The shower was perfect. I am going back again and can’t wait to enjoy the bar.
I stayed at this hotel during the FIAC. I was supposed to stay 3 nights but left after the first night. My company has booked it for me so luckily have not paid for this crappy place. Let me resume, the staff is the worst staff you will find in Paris, they are incompetent and rude, they do not speak english at all and do not understand what a 5 stars hotel is supposed to offer. The receptionist was so arrogant. I arrived with 4 suitcases, they saw me arriving and no one came out to help me. When i finally managed to carry all my suitcases to the reception, a tall brunette barely said hello and ask for my name and credit card, no:"hope you had a great journey","would you like something to drink"... nothing, not even a smile! After she quickly made me sign some papers she gave me they keys and once again no one to help with the luggages! I once again had to carry all my suitcases upstairs and one more suprise, the corridors smelled so bad, the hotel is old and very not clean. Let me be quick about the room which offers nothing more than a ibis hotel which is 1/3 of the price! Once you come in with your suitcases you can barely move, and i had the executive room, the bathroom was surprisingly ok compared to the rest. The carpet was disgusting and the smell in the room unbearable! The morning after this bad start, i asked the receptionist to call me a car and she told me she could not and direct me to a taxi station. Oh and i forgot about the breakfast, dont even think of it, 2 pieces of dry toast and already open jam! Something i told the receptionist who told me it was not her business. Avoid this place, there is so many cheaper and clean places with pleasant staff in Paris I had to leave this place before fighting with the staff!

Fairly small but comfortable rooms with showers over bath. Breakfast bit of a ‘bun fight’ with things running out if dining later. Rubbish and expensive Bar. TOO MANY cushions on the bed! Very helpful Receptionist & concierge

I recently stayed at the hotel Pont Royal. It was a special occasion and the hotel kindly upgraded us. The stay was extremely pleasant, the bed and room were really comfortable. The only small downside is that the rooms are a little small but that is completely standard for Paris and nothing against this hotel. The room had a beautiful balcony overlooking the street. Great location, about 10 second walk to the underground train station. Next to a supermarket as well. If you want a fancy meal the Michelin starred l’atelier Joel robuchon is next door and you can get it as room service! Staff were delightful and there is a little bar at the lobby. I would definitely stay again!

The room is getting a bit dated. Nothing stands out at particularly stunning, or drab. I think I gave it a 5 star review for cleanliness last time and the only reason I'll downgrade is because it's just getting worn. Location is where I've stayed 50+ times and it's great. So convenient for everything. We had to switch rooms because of cigarette smoke coming through the bathroom vent, and they were really quick to fix that for us. :) I'd been in Paris the previous weekend and stayed at a cheaper hotel and while the smaller hotel was quirkier, I'm not sure I would rate it lower.
