Loved it!! Would return!

We chose this hotel after a search for an area we thought we’d like on our first ever Paris visit. Had great reviews and is in a great spot. Arrived from the states at 11am and they gladly/safely held our bags until check in, while we walked Rue du Bac and St Germain. From front desk to housekeeping to bar (we did not use restaurant), every staff member was friendly and polite. Being our anniversary, we chose a superior room with Eiffel Tower view. Room was large by European standards, clean, comfortable, nice bathroom with tub, as well as a safe and espresso/tea maker. Easy walk to Orsay Museum, Louvre, Le Calife (dinner boat on Seine) and near Metro (we Ubered everywhere instead). Treats left in room for us and fresh water. First impressions are everything and they not only provided us with a great impression of their hotel but also a great memory of this beautiful city. Would book again for sure!

Perfectly nice city stay

We stayed here for the week between Christmas and New Years. The rooms were large by Parisian standards. Our kids had a junior suite, which accommodated 3, but which weirdly separated the toilet from the sink with both rooms, the hygiene of which really bothered everyone. The hotel concierge was very helpful and booked us a wonderful NYE experience. The front desk was friendly and lovely. The location was good. The lack of jazz bar, when we booked because of the jazz bar, was disappointing, and the restaurant next door, which we felt sort of served as the hotel restaurant (atelier Joel Reblochon) was our worst dining experience over four separate trips to Paris. Overall, it was a nice hotel with very few amenities- not 5 star by any means, but perfectly nice.

Great Hotel. So much better than an AirBnB

We would definitely stay here again. Came to Paris for a destination wedding and many of the guests stayed here. Location is a 10 in the heart of St Germaine. Bus and subway stop in front of the hotel. Orsay and Louvre down the street. Our room was so clean. The staff was so helpful and there is a little bar in the lobby that has free jazz several nights a week. Only thing I would do differently? We had a city street view on the third floor - it was lovely but next time I would splurge for a room view of the Eiffel!

Luxury vibe in Paris. Get a room with Eiffel Tower views!

Stayed one night in January in a junior suite on the 7th floor. The staff at check in were friendly and welcoming. The room was fantastic, with balcony views of the Eiffel Tower and a bottle of champagne waiting for us on arrival. The historic jazz bar in the evening was great. Breakfast I thought was expensive for what you get. However I would absolutely recommend staying here for a luxurious stay in Paris.

Our Fourth Stay- and last.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

This was our fourth stat at HPR. Obviously we have had some great times here since we keep coming back. However, this was our last. What’s great: The staff is incredibly friendly. This has always been the case. The location pretty much can’t be beat. The HPR is located left bank in a great area that makes nearly all of Paris accessible. Finally there is a great Monoprix across the street. This makes getting a snack or drink really easy. What’s not great: The hotel is getting really run down. We were put into a lower room with broken tile, threadbare walls and furniture and honestly really needs an update. While the Monoprix across the street is great, the constant loading and unloading is awful. I don’t know why they put us in a lower room. Long story short, The overall experience is poor, especially compared to the price. So when my wife says it’s our last. That as they say is that.

This was the fourth hotel I booked on Luxury Link. We enjoyed the other three, but this hotel was not good! Very dated, staff not friendly, but the location was good. A disappointment!
