Surrounded by the artistic ambience of the St. Germain-des-Prés district, Lâ€(TM)Hotel is a Parisian legend. This historic 19th-century hostelry was stunningly refurbished by interior designer Jacques Garcia, who modernized its character while maintaining its original landmark tributes. With its own unique personality, each room pays homage to a person or place, from the Loti, with its exotic Arabesque motifs, to The Cardinal, a terraced apartment with enchanting rooftop views, to The Oscar Wilde, a Victorian retreat where the notorious writer spent his last days.

The decor and the location were great. Whoever chose the furnishing and the colours has excellent taste. The staff were superb - front desk, breakfast and bar, housekeeping - everyone was very charming, very helpful and very knowledgable.

Had a wonderful surprise 60th Birthday. Staff wonderful, ambience and comfort superb. Beautifully decorated for Christmas and beautiful real orchids and poinsettias. Lots of beautiful touches. Loved the antique shower and huge bath I was overwhelmed by all

Beautiful cosy hotel very romantic. Sadly the Hamman wasn’t working which we were looking forward to. The cocktails are great, nice breakfast buffet and welcoming staff. The bed was super comfy as were the pillows. The bathroom was in need of a little update and some tatty carpets need replacing . Mid day check out was really good and we loved the location. Only 30 minutes back to Eurostar

Gorgeous hotel, intimate and unpretentious and luxurious in a wonderfully, comfortably understated way. The decor is marvellous. It's a hotel very comfortable in its own skin and that translates to the instant relaxation that you feel as you walk through the door. The service is similarly comfortable and charming, with the staff genuinely interested and happy to help, I honestly felt like nothing was too much trouble, from booking out the sweet little Hamman Pool, to accommodating us at late notice for drinks and snacks at Wilde's Bar. It is so much nicer and more welcoming than the overblown and stuffy Ritz or the Costes. I just loved L'Hotel and will definitely be returning, to be surrounded by luxury and also the necessitites...to happily misquote Wilde.

Stayed for 2 nights in the Oscar Wilde suite, the room is beautiful and the terrace is such a treat. Breakfast is severed in the main bar and it’s great, especially the hot chocolate. Definitely use the pool, you get a wonderful private hour and it’s so relaxing after a long day out and about in Paris
