La Maison Favart in Paris, France

As a cultural mecca for everything from fashion to fanciful fare, the pursuit of pleasure and indulgence has become the norm in Paris, "The City of Lights". Steeped in history, and bearing the iconic name of the most iconic pair in French theatre, La Maison Favart pays homage to her namesake with dramatic, 18th Century décor, and style that is uniquely Parisian. Come live an epicurean fantasy at one of Europe's premier boutique hotels,.

As you gaze upon the palatial façade of La Maison Favart from the Rue de Marivaux you are instantly transported to a time where decadence reigned supreme. The plush black and white carpeted flooring leads you down hallways and corridors decorated in classic Parisian style. The overstated opulence of gilded mirrors and exaggerated Old World trinkets points to an age of austerity, while the unobtrusive, yet attentive staff and modern amenities showcase the five-star boutique quality of La Maison Favart. The color palettes of the bedrooms, suites, and duplexes shock the senses with tranquil blues, vibrant reds, and cool greens, while retaining the classic elegance of the time. Lavish Victorian furnishings and heavy curtains add a regal feel to contemporary comforts such as oversized bedding, vanity areas, and spacious bathrooms. If you tire of being waited on, pampered, and having your every need met at the hotel, excitement awaits just outside your door. Experience the beauty of The Louvre, float along the River Seine, or just amble along the historic streets and take in all that is Paris. At La Maison Favart it is a privilege serving you, so guests are treated to the ultimate wellness experience; with access to the hotel's unique relaxation bath, sauna, and fitness center, let every care melt away and truly focus on an unforgettable vacation experience.

The intention for this trip was to finally have some quality time with my wife. This hotel seemed charming and the rumours were true. We were greeted by a very charming concierge who offered us drinks and a nice conversation. He wanted to know our intention for the trip at whether or not he could assist us in any way. The hotel is true boutique, with no spacious big halls, but loads of cozy nooks and crannies. Once you enter you get a feeling that "ah, we have stumbled upon a true treasure". The room we had faced the front of the hotel, but the area is quiet so that was no problem. Uber works excellently here as we never waited for more than 3min for a car. Room tip: Don't spend too much agony on this. All the rooms are unique and the experience will be as French as ever no matter what room you get. Vive la France

We had a wonderful stay at Maison Favart!! The hotel is beautiful, stylish and very comfortable. The room was very spacious and the bed divine. We absolutely loved the breakfasts and we are chefs! We would stay here again in a heartbeat. And the staff were amazing.

Our family visited again (our first time was three years ago) and while some of the staff has changed I am delighted to report that nothing else has changed and that the new staff keep to the same high standard as those who have left the hotel. This is our favorite hotel in Paris, in part because of the staff and the rooms, but also because of the location. It is not only that it is near various sights and shopping but also that it is in a very quiet neighborhood with many conveniences and some excellent restaurants (including Aux Lyonnais a stone's throw away). I should also mention that while breakfast is quite good the tarts are a highlight and also available afternoons and early evenings and that makes for a nice break after a day of visiting or working. La Maison Favart is altogether a gem and it is my fervent hope that it will remain so for years to come.

Our stay at La Maison Favert was wonderful! The room overlooked the plaza in front of the Theatre, and was just perfect. The breakfast room was beautifully done, and the the food was great. Staff were super helpful, and are appreciated! We would stay there again!!

Stayed in a deluxe room, quiet, not disturbed by neighbours, room was at the back of the hotel so no view - had a balcony with table & 2 chairs which did not overlook anything - just a wall and some flats next door. The bathroom had a good shower over the bath, good towels, complimentary shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion. The bed was about 4'6" double I think, not much space around bed, tv juts out into room so you need to be careful not to bang your head. There is a coffee machine in the room, but only the tea bags and coffee pods are free. Downstairs there is an honesty bar in the afternoons - jugs of water and a tarte are available to help yourself to, or soft drinks/alcohol to buy. Locally there are loads of cafes, restaurants, and especially far eastern establishments. All in all, did the job, if you plan to see the sights all day and then just sleep, it will be fine and well connected.
