The original palace hotel in the heart of historic Paris on rue de Rivoli, Le Meurice is the very epitome of quiet elegance, the ultimate in the French art of living and alive with the artist’s soul of wit and magic. It is an inspirational and fascinating place where 18th-century splendour and the most innovative modern comforts sit happily side by side. So much more than a luxury hotel, this is a gallery, an adventure, a living work of art.

Wow. If you want to experience first class service (and cocktails), a must stop. Yes, you are going to pay for it but are t you worth it? Outstanding service, ambiance and martinis. The place to take a cocktail break from the wonders of Paris.

My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Meurice during the worst heatwave in Paris history, but the staff turned what could have been a very unfortunate travel experience into what will be a wonderful memory. Due to the heat and challenges within Paris, the AC did not work at full capacity, but the staff did everything possible to accommodate us and make it tolerable. We also spent far more time at the hotel restaurants and bar than we usually would during a visit to Paris, since it was too hot to walk around, and had many exceptional meals and fantastic service—it was a shame though that we couldn’t take advantage of the amazing location. In addition, the concierge desk was very helpful— obtaining tickets and providing very helpful suggestions of things to do in the heat. We had an excellent time and look forward to visiting Le Meurice again (maybe at another time of year).

Exquisite experience from beginning to the end of our stay. The staff go out of their way to ensure your needs are met and pleasurable. Food was delicious from breakfast, lunch, dinner, and room service. The front door staff treat you like family and are truly a gem!

I had the pleasure of enjoying afternoon tea at Le Meurice, and the experience was elegant from start to finish. The tea ceremony was beautifully executed, and the service was exceptional. The staff were attentive, welcoming, and truly took care of me throughout my visit. As a solo traveler, I especially appreciated how comfortable and valued they made me feel. For me, great service is what elevates an experience, and Le Meurice certainly delivered. The setting is stunning and perfectly reflects the luxury and elegance of Paris. However, I was a bit disappointed with the dessert portion of the afternoon tea. While the pastries created by Cédric Grolet were beautifully presented, I personally did not find them particularly special in terms of flavor. They were good, but they did not live up to the high expectations I had based on their reputation. Overall, I would recommend Le Meurice for its impeccable service, beautiful atmosphere, and refined tea experience. The hospitality was the highlight of my visit and made it a memorable afternoon.

The wonderful experience at Hotel Meurice had a profound effect on our first experience in Paris. We had a room overlooking the Tuileries Garden. The view was out of an Audrey Hepburn movie—to the left the Louvre and the Eiffel tower to the right. It was unreal and the service was impeccable.
