This hotel is certainly the place for celebration. Our third visit confirmed our previous impression. It is as good as ever . The American breakfast is one fantastic display of how to do it properly. Unfortunately for us The Alan Ducasse isn’t open at weekends it was sensational last time though. The bar is worthy of a visit with it’s enticing club like decor. Arrivals and departures are accomplished with the excellence one would expect. All in all a delight.

We stayed here for 3 nights, and from the moment you step in the lobby, you know it's some where truly special. The Dali influence is obvious but does not take away from the old world charm.. the history of this hotel is fantastic! The rooms big, bright and luxurious, superb bathroom and overall a feeling of magic! The staff are a true credit to the establishment. Definitely one of, if not, the most complete hotel I have stayed at... the finest and the best of everything!

Excellent room - plenty of space, king bed, closets. Bathroom was fabulous. Huge tub and a large walk-in shower - double sinks. Wonderful lobby, the décor was beautiful. But breakfast was the best. Croissants and pastries that were outstanding. Can't wait to return for more of Paris.

Wonderful traditional room with a view of the Eiffel Tower - particularly at night, impeccable service, acceptable friendly stuffiness, breakfast in the same space as the Michelin starred restaurant (get it as part of a package), tiny elevator, in the 1st, walk to the Louvre, very, very quick taxi access, room upgrades may be available, reserve room directly with the hotel and confirm room location -- oh and fifth night free but even so expensive!

The only depressing consequence of a stay at Le Meurice will be in the disappointment felt in almost every other future hotel experience. We have stayed in many wonderful 5* residences but almost all pale in comparison to this Parisian Palace. I can count on less than one hand the number of hotels that manage to create a 'top note' of pure luxury followed by a heart of genuine felicity and warmth. To stay at the Meurice is, for whatever period of time, to be part of a 'family'. This marriage of luxury and comfort can be found from bar to boudoir. The rooms have a relaxed opulence and, unlike in some of the residences in the surrounding area, nothing is ever over-stated. The 'guest' remains the star of the show. (A novelty in an age where so many brands seek to overwhelm, and overtake.) The Meurice, matriarch that she is, casually assumes her own cultural significance in much the same way as her neighbouring Parisian landmarks. The Guest Relations are second to none. You will be spoiled past the point of no return by Franka Holtmann's team and her guest relations manager Jean-Damien Prieur. The experience is an almost psychic one,- which makes recent conversations with another luxury resort for an upcoming trip overseas all the more depressing. I turned to my husband last night and sighed "It's not the Meurice." I'm afraid if you stay here you will be saying this too. You have been warned!
