There is no doubt that this is a classy hotel in a good location. Service is very good from the moment you approach the hotel, through check in and actually shown to your room by the check in lady. Had a nice complimentary bottle of wine and fruit and chocolates. Stayed for 4 days and used the lounge - they made some pretty good cocktails. However, three of the four nights we could not get in at all, and were offered to sit outside. However, this space was more of a 'breakfast' area, or afternoon tea area, and had nothing like a lounge feel to it. Another small point : It would have been nice if the fruit had been refreshed daily in the room - instead you had the one bowl, and when that run out, that was it. At this price, fresh fruit daily is not too much to ask. Plus no swimming pool. We had a deluxe room, that had a court yard view. The space was not voluminous. Actually, not much bigger than a budget hotel. There was an 'annex' area, but this was too small to be useful in any way. Only one comfy chair, so not great if two of you wanted to watch TV - and no room for a 2nd chair anyway. Small TV for the price. Nice bathroom - good size -and good shower. Good pillows. Whether you use this hotel or not I think depends on why you are in Paris. For us, mainly sightseeing, it was not really worth almost euros 1000/night. We were hardly in the room and a hotel much cheaper than that would have sufficed. However, for a special occasion, it could be worth it, as this level of luxury/service in a good location does not come cheap. Nevertheless, as you can see from my review, there are ups and downs to the hotel. At this price in other cities I have had rooms that make you think 'wow this is great value for money '- even at 1000 euros - here not so much.

Once again we got a wonderful room overlooking Le Jardin des Tuileries, with views of the Eiffel Tower to the right, Musee d'Orsay ahead and Le Louvre to the left. Short walk to the Left Bank over a bridge across the park. This our 4th time and this time I want to talk about Guest Services. At Le Meurice, Guest Services does not wait behind a desk waiting to hear from you. They greet you when you come in and ask you how things are going when you are having cocktails. Any issue is resolved immediately, quietly and efficiently.

This is our last night in Paris. This hotel personified old world charm and elegance. Beautiful room decor, turn down service, chocolates on arrival, elegant dinner and superb breakfast. It is located across from the Tuileries gardens. Walking distance to muse d’Orsay, Louvre etc.

This hotel is certainly the place for celebration. Our third visit confirmed our previous impression. It is as good as ever . The American breakfast is one fantastic display of how to do it properly. Unfortunately for us The Alan Ducasse isn’t open at weekends it was sensational last time though. The bar is worthy of a visit with it’s enticing club like decor. Arrivals and departures are accomplished with the excellence one would expect. All in all a delight.

We stayed here for 3 nights, and from the moment you step in the lobby, you know it's some where truly special. The Dali influence is obvious but does not take away from the old world charm.. the history of this hotel is fantastic! The rooms big, bright and luxurious, superb bathroom and overall a feeling of magic! The staff are a true credit to the establishment. Definitely one of, if not, the most complete hotel I have stayed at... the finest and the best of everything!
