Good location, nice staff, comfortable rooms, lovely breakfast
We stayed as a family for a long weekend and enjoyed our stay. The location is good as the underground is just around the corner. The restaurant/bar next door called Les Petit Canailles is very good with friendly staff and nice food.

Beautiful hotel
The hotel was so beautifully decorated at Christmas and in a great location, walkable to many areas of Paris. The staff was friendly and helpful in calling cabs for us each day. The Marais area was lovely with many shops and restaurants. It was walkable to the River Siene, Rue de Rivoli, St Paul Village, Place des Vosges, and Notre Dame

Helpfull staff. Excellent amenities. Helpful staff and great hospitality. Location is 20 min by car to any tourist destination. Amazing overall.

Very disappointing and unacceptable experience
Very disappointing and unacceptable experience I stayed at Les Jardins du Marais and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing due to a serious billing issue that was handled very poorly. When I arrived at the hotel on November 20th, a hold of €536.70 was placed on my card. However, this was not just a pre-authorization — the money was actually withdrawn from my bank account. Then, on Sunday at checkout, I was charged again €536.70, resulting in two full charges for the same stay. I immediately raised this issue with the hotel staff. I was clearly told that the duplicated charge would be refunded within a maximum of 3 days. This did not happen. Today is December 21st, one full month later, and only now has the money finally been returned. During this entire month, I was missing a significant amount of money due to the hotel’s mistake, with no proactive communication, no urgency, and no proper follow-up from their side. This situation is completely unacceptable for a hotel of this category. Holding or charging guests incorrectly is serious enough, but taking a month to return money that should never have been taken in the first place shows a lack of professionalism and respect for customers. Mistakes can happen, but how they are handled defines the quality of a hotel. In this case, the handling was slow, careless, and deeply frustrating. I would not recommend this hotel and I certainly will not be returning.
