Beautiful, très chic Paris is in fine form at Les Jardins du Marais. Behind an unassuming façade on Rue Amelot in Marais, this Summit Hotels & Resorts property, part of the Preferred Hotel Group, adds a contemporary edge to 1930s glamour in rooms outfitted with plush purple carpeting and Macassar ebony furniture. Sunlight floods the lobby and restaurant through a glass roof, and blossoming flowers are everywhere. Nine renovated, historic buildings comprise the hotel – one used to house Gustave Eiffel’s workshop.

Im not sure where to start, except please take all negative reviews seriously! With exception of Stefan and Henrique the service was lack lustre at best! How they have 4 stars is a mystery! We had to wait 1.5 hours for our room to be inspected after it was cleaned from previous guests and we'll.....the pictures tell the story. Im not sure who inspected! Dinner was mediocre at best, much of the menu "unavailable". Chicken tasted reheated and barely warm. Poor staff training seems to be the obvious cause or they just don't care. It was a poor introduction to our holiday of a lifetime, it marred our overall impression of this beautiful city. Our room was not cleaned until 5.20pm! , when asked it was because they had "lots of guests checking in and it wasn't a priority!" We had been out for the full day, leaving at 9am to find no fresh towels, water or any care really. We do not recommend this hotel at its price point! Bathroom definitely grotty! Luxury escapes needs to remove this hotel from their offers

My husband and I were on a short get away. The front desk and restaurant staff were attentive and friendly. The room was perfect and housekeeping was great. The hotel is close to shops including a pharmacy and a grocery store, very handy. Strongly recommend.

We booked a 4 night break to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and we had a fantastic stay from start to finish. The check in was very smooth and quick and we were very impressed with our room overlooking the courtyard. The beds were a great size and very comfy. We went for breakfast the first morning and was really impressed with the decor of the breakfast room and the food offering. The hotel is very close to some great bars and restaurants and also close to the metro to visit all the landmarks. I would recommend this as a great place to stay to visit all the Paris Landmarks.

Wow! Perfect hotel. For some reason we walked from the train station ( via everywhere) a good 60 minute walk. Supermarket 1 minute walk from the hotel. The reception was having work done but no bother to is. The courtyard was stunning as we walked to the room. Oh my what an amazing room!! Kitchenette, fridge, bath, and such a comfortable bed!! Clean and perfect. Staff were amazing and helpful. Great location. Quite in your room with bustling bars and cafes surrounding. Highly recommend. .

Great location, very clean, we had jr suite so space ok, ac worked well in room. Bar area ..inside no air con and infrequent staff attention so no atmosphere.Staff slow . Front desk..not enough desks , congested , slow. Errors on bill. Restaurant - inside bar area ..too hot . Had one simple meal ..food ok.Breakfast very good. Overall we were lucky , we heard ( from staff) many people were not , especially due to faulty air con which in July is not acceptable.
