Les Jardins du Marais in Paris, France
Beautiful, très chic Paris is in fine form at Les Jardins du Marais – part of the collection of . Behind an unassuming façade on Rue Amelot in Marais, this hotel adds a contemporary edge to 1930s glamour in rooms outfitted with plush purple carpeting and Macassar ebony furniture. Sunlight floods the lobby and restaurant through a glass roof, and blossoming flowers are everywhere. Nine renovated, historic buildings comprise the hotel – one used to house Gustave Eiffel’s workshop.
Indulge in the carb-filled glory of a French breakfast – fresh croissants slathered in butter and apricot jam, chocolaty pain suisse, chouquette cream puffs topped with crunchy sugar. Wander through the winding, medieval streets of the Marais. Visit the Musée Picasso. Watch a street artist recreate Vermeer’s “Girl with a Pearl Earring” on the sidewalk. Find an inviting corner bistro and order a bottle of Sancerre to wind down the day.

Reviews for Les Jardins du Marais
A friend and I stayed here for a few days on a Paris trip. The room was fine but nothing special. The gardens were cute but the bartender at the bar that serves them wad sort of rude to us one evening. And we strive to be reasonable and gracious travelers. I liked the location a lot. Not too busy and area but close to the metro and in an area with great cafes and restaurants. Very walkable.
Spent two wonderful nights here and hope to return soon. Room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. Metro stop was 2 minute walk. Several nice bistros and restaurants neighbouring the hotel too.

This hotel was one of the best hotels I have stayed in, the staff are very helpful and friendly. The area is very quiet, they were able to put us in 2 different rooms close together. The service they have given was the best, we had the bed and breakfast option and even the breakfast was amazing.

It was a nice Hotel. Very clean rooms and a good breakfast. Not so good was that you have even to pay for Radio. There a only a few TV-channels free.Helpful, friendly and competent staff. We will come back. Good value for money.
The rooms are from 1960s. They are noisy too. I changed my room 3 times. There is no cool factor in the hotel too. Service is helpful but unless the rooms are upgraded there is no point. Location is good but again the rooms are depressing.
