We had a short, but great stay at the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme! The apartment sized suite had everything we needed and was comfortable, clean and quiet. One of the nicest aspects was all the room in the bathroom area to spread out your luggage. The bed was comfortable, the HVAC worked flawlessly and the strange bathroom setup produced great water pressure in the shower. The staff we interacted with were universally helpful and kind. Special thanks to the concierge staff for restaurant help! We stayed using Hyatt points and it was a steal for what we paid. The area is very busy and very central in Paris. If you want bustling, touristic and to be in the heart of some high-end shopping, this is your spot! Our only regret is not having a few more days in this excellent hotel.

Just finished a 3-night stay at the Park Hyatt Paris and overall it was a lovely experience. I had read plenty of positive reviews so had high expectations, and they were met. I used Hyatt points (45k x3 nights) and was very happy to not be paying the cash rates. Overall a very classy, high-caliber property with helpful polite, helpful staff. Design felt a bit dated in some respects IMO, but all the gold touches definitely give it a "regal" feel (this is not where you want to go if you prefer more of a modern/industrial design). A few notes from my experience: Pros: 1) Great location for shopping and felt clean/safe and easy to get Uber. Also not a super loud/busy street which I appreciated. 2) Concierge was super responsive and helpful leading up to our stay. I had been in touch for weeks/months with questions as I was planning my itinerary, and they were super quick and helpful answering my questions. They even helped me make a restaurant reservation for a popular spot that only takes reservations by phone (with the time difference to the US and my not speaking French, I was a bit apprehensive to call myself)--it was only possible to make the reservation exactly 4 weeks in advance, and without me even needing to remind them, they had already gone ahead and done it for me. Really appreciated and was impressed by that follow-through. They also helped us secure tickets to the Louvre and Eiffel tower via group tours, and had everything printed and ready for us to pickup when we checked in. 3) Amazing breakfast buffet! I hated the idea of having breakfast at the hotel when in PARIS of all places--but I had read enough good reviews about it and decided we had to try it at least one morning. So glad we did! It was not free but it was 50% off with my Explorist status, so $25 pp which was a pretty good deal considering it was a buffet. So many options and everything offered was delicious. Chocolate molton lava cake for breakfast? Sure! Shakshuka--yes please. 5 different types of bread? One of each please! Also a lovely courtyard dining space with lots of bright, natural light streaming in. 4) Great black-out curtains--very effective, could've slept for hours and hours! 5) We were celebrating an anniversary and when we got to our room, they not only had a balloon, but also a whole mini pound cake (complete with gold leaf) and a ice bucket full of gourmet juices (we don't drink alcohol). No room upgrade unfortunately, but they did have us facing the courtyard which was nice and quiet. 6) Pretty spacious room/bathroom even without upgrade. 7) Heated toilet seat! Truly a trip highlight and I'm convinced I need them for my house now. Cons: 1) Although I liked the location, it was a bit of a schlep to get to touristy spots like the Eiffel tower. So if your plan is to be there every evening for the sparkling lights, maybe pick a hotel closer to that. Spent a lot more on Uber than I had wanted to/planned to. 2) Housekeeping was a bit hit-or-miss. They took away one of our robes during housekeeping service one day and never replaced it. I asked twice for a new one and never got it. Otherwise though, appreciated turndown service. 3) Courtyard smoking fumes traveled--not sure where exactly it was coming from, but one night when we were trying to sleep, the smell of cigarette smoke was coming in through our (closed) windows which was quite annoying, presumably from one of our neighbors who must've been smoking out the window. I know it's Europe...but not great and very disruptive when trying to sleep. Overall, I would definitely stay again if I had plenty of Hyatt points. I do not think I'd pay the cash rates for this hotel if and when I return as I realistically wasn't spending a ton of time in the room in Paris.

We were in Paris for a mother-daughter group trip. From the moment we booked our hotel to the end of our stay, the Park-Hyatt Vendome staff made everything about our stay exceptional. Concierge helped me book an itinerary seamlessly and made great recommendations to navigate the city easily with our daughters. Then, much of the hotel staff was wonderful when we arrived and throughout the stay. Our room was clean, well-planned, and beautiful decorated. We had a fabulous time in Paris and can't wait to come back!

We recently stayed at the Park Hyatt Vendome and every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. From the moment we stepped out of our transportation and we were greeted and swept away by the 3 doorman. Our checkin went smoothly and we were personally escorted to our room by your front desk manager who is very kind and gave us the information we needed to be prepared for our stay. She was very personable and extremely polite. Our room was immaculate, the bathroom was vey spacious with beautiful marble shower and bathtub which was lovely to soak in after a full day of exploring all that Paris has to offer. We were delighted to see a lovely bottle of Champagne waiting for us and a beautifully made chocolate cookie! There was also a nice note from the General Manager. Our room was lovely, clean, beautifully decorated and had a nice view of the courtyard below. Our stay was magical with over the top service from all the staff! They went above and beyond to make our stay special and comfortable! Our room had a nice view of the courtyard. The breakfast was wonderful and the service was over the top. We ate breakfast daily and besides the gourmet buffet which had so many beautiful pastries to choose from along with fresh fruit, meats and cheeses we were also offered a made to ordered dish of our choice fresh from the kitchen. It was truly one of the best buffets Ive experienced. We also had lunch during our stay at the restaurant and the steak tartare is wonderful! This hotel is perfect home base to experience Paris at its best. The surrounding area is extremely safe and very clean! You can literally walk virtually anywhere you need to be in Paris within 15 to 20 minutes from this hotel location. The Louvre, Tuileries Garden, Galeries Lafayette are all very close! We ventured our daily and were able to walk everywhere from this location! Our stay was magical and we thoroughly enjoyed The Park Hyatt Vendome! We will definitely be back again soon! Merci beaucoup!
