Beautiful & Romantic!

We booked our first ever stay in Paris at this property and everything from calling with questions to the stay to checking out was perfect! Their customer service is EXCELLENT!!! The staff were all very helpful and spoke great English as well! The moment our Uber pulled up at the front door, two door staff dressed perfectly, started removing our luggage and another staff member met us at the door to walk us to the check-in counter. Emma, the lady who checked us in was flawless at checking us in! I’ve never experienced such a thorough check-in process, which included describing amenities, the property, welcoming me and acknowledging my status, and then actually taking us up the elevator and to our room to ensure we were happy with the room – This was OUTSTANDING service!!! The concierge staff is friendly and was very helpful during our stay, providing great suggestions for food and handling other questions we had, such as how to best handle the train we needed to take, etc. The location of this hotel is perfectly walkable and is an equal distance to the Eiffel Tower or the L'arc de Triomphe. It’s a block from the Avenue des Champs-Élysées. We only needed to use Uber to get to an area a few miles away, but otherwise, we walked everywhere. The room was very comfortable, perfectly adorned and nicely embellished with great attention to detail… including the mosaic tile in the bathroom! Everything was clean and spotless and stayed that way throughout our stay with housekeeping taking care of it daily and offering turndown service. Such an excellent stay was had here, we will definitely stay here when returning to Paris!!

A Wonderful Stay at a 5 Star Parisian Gem

Our recent stay at the Prince De Galles in Paris was simply wonderful. The highlight of our stay was the exceptional staff. A very special thank you to Joachim for making us feel like cherished guests. He and the staff went above & beyond to make our stay extraordinary even helping us hire a professional photographer to take family photographs at a scenic location with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Our suite had all the modern conveniences. It was immaculately clean with high ceilings, a gorgeous marble & mosaic tile bathroom, and a lovely terrace. Plus, an incredibly comfortable bed. Situated on the posh Avenue George V, the hotel's location couldn't be more perfect. We were within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, Champs-Élysées, the Seine River and some of the best shopping and restaurants. We truly can’t wait to return.

Wonderful luxury hotel

We had an amazing trip and stay at Prince de Galles. The location is superb. The staff was great. The room was beautiful with a large, luxurious bathroom. We used the weight room and the hotel dining, both I would suggest. I would happily stay there again.

Five Star Service but Underwhelming Accomodations

If you're looking for the finest customer service in Paris, the Prince de Galles is your spot. Everyone we encountered was extremely polite, well meaning, and attentive to our every concern. Their concierge team was especially helpful and are highly recommended. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. Comfortably appointed and have timelessly elegant finishes. There is a lovely courtyard that is part of the bar 19.20 where you can sip cocktails and enjoy a cigarette. The unfortunate side effect of this is that if you have a courtyard facing room and you open your window, the cigarette smoke (or at least the smell) will diffuse into your room. Our suite temp would go below 22 C without opening the windows, so we were forced to choose the strong smell of smoke throughout the room or an uncomfortable sleeping temp. Not a choice you should have to make at $800+/night. Most buildings in Paris are older (it adds to the charm), but those older buildings are not built with insulation between rooms. This hotel is no exception. Unfortunately, the rooms are built with doorbells and hydraulic door closers. When one of the hotel staff rings a doorbell in an adjacent suite, it is extremely loud. Same with slamming doors. A neighboring guest ordered room service at 2:30 AM a couple nights during our stay and we were jarred awake by the doorbell and slamming of the door each time. Overall, if you have an exterior room with no guests around you, it's 5/5. That was not our situation though. Would be inclined to return for the service, but probably wouldn't due to the infrastructural issues
