Nice hotel, and a great price compared to similar accommodation. The location only justifies a 4 star review. However, if you are looking for true luxury I recommend upgrading to a suite or spending more on a different hotel. The bathroom shower had difficulties getting hot water, the room was cramped, the bed had broken springs and was only full size, the sheets were rough, no comforter was provided (just a blanket), and during our four day stay, our rough sheets were not washed once. However the price and location still made this hotel a nice stay.

An elegant old hotel in a great location just opposite the Louvre. Good value for a five star hotel compared to many such hotels in Paris. Generally the staff were very good. Sadly there were a few negatives, a filthy toilet in the room (334) Good to have a kettle in the room but powdered milk? You should do better. I asked at reception for some fresh milk but it was never delivered. The bathroom grout was in poor shape for a hotel that has apparently been refurbished recently. The room had a nice view of a courtyard but was overlooked by other properties, why no sheer curtains to offer some privacy? Reception, concierge and front door staff were very pleasant and helpful.

My daughter and I went Paris to celebrate her 30th birthday. It was the first time either of us had been there. Since we've both traveled a fair amount, we've developed a discerning eye for things. Our trip was brief (we stayed for 3-nights), so we made the most of each day! Before booking our trip, we researched tons of hotels and finally chose Hotel Regina. We were thrilled with our choice! Our primary site to see was the Dior exhibit, which was right across the street at the Louvre. The location was an easy 5-10 minute Uber ride from the hotel to many of the other sites we wanted to visit. Right down the street, in easy walking distance, was Rue Saint Honore, which has all the high end stores and amazing boutiques. The staff at the hotel was extremely polite and welcoming. The concierge was fantastic, very eager to accommodate all our requests for help with dinner reservations and itinerary planning. The hotel has an abundance of old world Parisian charm, but does not look "tired", as some older hotels can. They have modernized it where necessary (air conditioned, flat screen TVs, wifi, large beds, etc.), but all very tastefully done. The bed linens were beautiful and the room was very clean. We highly recommend Hotel Regina!

We absolutely love the Hotel Regina Paris. It is elegant, has a great location, and wonderful staff. Reserve a prestige room with balcony overlooking the Louvre and Eiffel Tower, worth the extra cost.

The location alone justifies the five stars but this is indeed a great hotel. From the reception at check in it is a five star experience. The entire hotel retains a lot of the original decorations and interior. Rooms are spacious and very quiet. The English bar is a must do while staying here.
