I just returned from a 7 day stay at Hotel Regina. What a wonderful hotel!! The hotel is so beautifully maintained. They have a downstairs salon which is beautiful for drinks and nibbles. My room was very pretty, extremely comfortable and very clean. The linens on the bed were gorgeous and the lighting in the room was exquisite and well thought-out. But, the best part, without question, were the people. Every single person I came into contact with could not do enough to make my stay comfortable. They all operated as a team, were caring and concerned (I got a lecture from a concerned doorman on pickpockets) and without hesitation gave out all the info you would need for a wonderful stay. With the location so ideal, if I ever return to Paris I will without question stay at Hotel Regina.

Heaven First trip to Paris and definitely not my last. (February 4 to February 11) My boyfriend and I normally go to the Caribbean this time of year but were forced to choose another location due to hurricane damage. On a whim I decided to check off items on my bucket list and we booked a trip to Paris. And what a trip! Since museums were a priority I booked a junior Eiffel Tower suite at the unbelievably gorgeous Hotel Regina directly across the street from the Louvre. This unique establishment is awe inspiring from the moment you walk through the door. Every care has been given to maintain its old world charm, from the beautiful floors to the walls to the furniture to the elevator (a modernized “lift”) to the hallways to the room itself. And the view was astounding – to see the Eiffel Tower the minute you awake to watching the sun set behind it took my breath away. The bed was enormous, tucked into a wall with gorgeous drapes on each side. The bathroom was huge with a shower as well as large tub, two sinks, a bidet and towel warmer. The staff was incredibly warm, receptive and helpful in every way and took great pains to make sure we experienced the luxury vacation of a lifetime. So polite and patient. The location is perfect for what is essentially a walking city. So many cafes are close by but we definitely recommend, as did our concierge on our first day, to start with Angelina’s. Angelina’s is about 3 blocks from the hotel and a great way to dive into what became a culinary delight (sorry Weight Watchers but there was no point counting this week!) Besides the buttery croissants I highly recommend the eggs and salmon, which were creamy (if you are lactose intolerant, as I am, take your pills with you as every egg dish I had in Paris contained cheese). We did take cabs, which were easy to get as there was a taxi stand right on the corner. But the Metro is only two blocks away so if you’re going to see for instance the Pere Lachaise (world renowned cemetary), its cheaper to take mass transit. Paris was experiencing its worst snow storm in 30 years which only became an issue when walking to the museums. (For some reason we saw not one shovel or salter so streets were incredibly icy.) In addition of course to the Louvre (yes, the Mona Lisa, Winged Victory and Venus de Milo are a must to see in person), I highly recommend the Musee Rodin (where you’ll see the Thinking Man in the garden), Musee National Picasso, the Petit Palais, and the Musee de l’Armee (where you’ll find Napolean’s crypt – amazing). The Cathedral of Notre Dame of course is worth visiting – make sure to visit the belfry for an incredible climb and view of the city. Eight days were simply not enough and look forward to visiting again.

I was brought here on a surprise birthday trip in mid Jan. The staff were lovely, ensuring my stay was special and wishing me a happy birthday! The room itself I could see the eifell tower from my bed. Excellent location. It just has those extra touches that make your holiday unforgettable. Thanks again Hotel Regina Louvre for the bath bombs

We stayed at Regina Hotel at our arrival in Paris for our Honey Moon. The Hotel is absolutely sharp, the staff manage for us to have a view to the Eiffel Tower and arrange a special decoration in our room. Regina is everything you can expect from a top rated Hotel, plus a wonderful service experience.
