I stayed at the Regina Hotel for 10 nights in June, 2017. I couldn't have been more pleased. The hotel is in an older building on the corner of Rue de Rivoli and Rue des Pyramides, across from The Louvre and the Tuilieries Garden and within walking distance of many of the main attractions in Paris, though a walk to the Eiffel Tower or the Arc de Triomphe is quite a hike, so take the Metro. The guest rooms have been recently renovated, though the public areas still had their old world charm. My room had plenty of storage space, being very clean with a very comfortable bed, and a large bathroom/shower overlooking the courtyard, so it was very quiet. One innovation was a second door in the entryway to keep out the hall noise. The staff of the hotel, front desk, housekeeping, dining room, and concierge desk were extremely helpful and courteous. I must single out the concierge desk, staffed with 5 very knowledgeable employees, as being the most helpful of any concierge desk in my experience. Upon requesting assistance in choosing restaurants, they sent a document of over 20 restaurants that, in their opinion, were worth eating at and they weren't wrong. Upon making my choices, both on and off the list, they were prompt in securing reservations, even though I was dining alone. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was very good with many choices of pastries, fruit, vegetables, eggs, and meat and though a bit pricey, was worth it (I'll dream about the chocolate croissant and the veal sausage). The hotel dining room was excellent! I'll review it under the restaurant category, as I dined there twice. If I'm ever in Paris again, the Regina Hotel will be the place to find me, as I couldn't think of a better hotel in terms of location, price, and staffing.

The rooms are big / neat and clean as also are the washrooms . 20 min walk to Seine river and another ten min walk to Eiffel tower .It seemed to be a right place to stay in considering the location and walking distance to museums and gardens

Chose this hotel for the location. The address is Place des Pyramides, but it is essentially on the Rue de Rivoli. Short walks to metro (line 1), Tuileries Garden, Louvre, and Musee d'Orsay. We had also booked 2 day trips with Paris City Vision which is located adjacent to the hotel. Plenty of restaurants/bistros in the area. Accommodations were first rate with comfortable room and spacious bath...shower only, no tub. Staff could not have been nicer, and concierge was especially helpful. Enjoyed buffet breakfast and had a very nice dinner in the hotel restaurant the last night of our stay. I was prepared for it to be a bit pricey, given the location, but still a bit surprised to pay 9 euros for a Coke, from the bar and from the room mini bar! We were overall very happy with our stay. If we ever return to Paris, we would strongly consider the Regina again. I recommend it highly.

We stayed here twice during our visit to Paris. Our first room was a courtyard view with a large window that opened. The room was spacious, with lovely decor and fantastic bedding as well as generous bathroom. Front desk service was very friendly and accommodating to our large group. A second stay was in a city view suite. The Eiffel tower view was awesome, as well having the extra space. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything including shopping, museums and gardens. The breakfast is outstanding--more choices then you have time to try and all so wonderful. I can't wait to go back.

We stayed at the Regina Hotel for our anniversary trip to Paris. Can't say enough about the great location. Across the street from the Louvre, short walk to the Museum d Orsay, very close to the Metro or the hop on hop off green line bus stop. We stayed in a Prestige room and had a view of the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower in the distance. The room was a nice size for European standards. The staff was very friendly from the front desk, to the breakfast staff, and housekeeping. Speaking of breakfast- the bread and pastries were heavenly and everything else was an added bonus. This was a very charming hotel; not too large and just the right amount of French flair!
