The Hotel Regina Louvre

The location of the Hotel Regina Louvre is excellent. It is walking distance from many of the sites that we wanted to see and places we wanted to go to. The staff couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. The hotel is beautiful and the room was very comfortable and spacious. I have recommended it to my friends and would go there again should I find myself going to Paris.

The Amazing Hotel Regina

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Regina! What we were most impressed with was the staff. Every single member, from the doorman/men, housekeeping, concierge, front desk, breakfast room servers, bar staff were exemplary of over the top customer service! Friendly, kind and, accommodating we were charmed every single day. That being said, the accommodations were wonderful as was the location. Gorgeous old world charm and aesthetics. Highly recommend!!

Exceptional

The professional staff on arrival were excellent. It is lovely to be accompanied to the room for a quick explanation of operations. We loved the room on the fourth floor overlooking the courtyard with two small balconies that allowed you to admire the stars for a few moments. Also the room was exactly as described on the website, which is not always the case. The lobby, restaurant and bar areas had an understated style to them. Dinner in the garden setting was a treat and the small smoking garden for a cigar was an unexpected finale. Everyone on staff was very courteous. The lady who looked after our room took great pains to ensure that our exterior lighting indicated we did not want service. Upon discovering our error she immediately offered a time late in the afternoon to prepare the room - truly deserving of recognition. We will return to Regina when possible and certainly recommend this to friends.

Hotel is very lovely and conveniently located-one block from the Louvre. Hotel lobby is well appointed. Rooms- small.

Hotel is lovely. Superior rooms well appointed but small. We had 2 bookings. In the first room, the mattress should be replaced as it sloped off on the side and I felt like I was going to fall out of the bed. The mattress in the second room was excellent. Bathrooms with step in showers are very limited-most are shower wands in a bathtub. If you have any mobility concerns this might prove challenging. I would definitely stay again but splurge for the Superior-Louvre view with balcony -we had an excellent view of the Louvre, the Olympics dome, and the Eiffel Tower!!! Just fabulous!

Mostly positive experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Beautiful hotel with clean, updated rooms in a very central location right near the Tuileries garden. Not as many of the fancy small touches as I would expect to see from a 5 star hotel at this price point, but overall a solid place to stay. My only complaint was that when I asked if I’d be able to get a taxi to the airport outside with the doorman, they said they’d call me one. Usually taxis to the airport in Paris are a flat fee but the driver said I was being charged a much higher price because the hotel reserved it for me in advance. Given that hotels in the US and London can easily hail a cab for you and there’s no cost for that, I was unaware I would be charged more. I think the hotel has a duty to their guests to be transparent and let them know they’ll get a better rate if they simply grab a taxi themselves from outside. Unless you’re local, you’d have no way of knowing this nuance. So that was disappointing. Overall I would still recommend especially if you want to visit the Louvre.

We had a wonderful time at the Regina. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, all items included in our package arrived promptly. The hotel is very well geared to the Luxury Link auction features and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
