With my daughter. I have been here 4 times. Never again. 1. The Suite we have is 2 separate rooms, instead of one large area we can share. The foliage on balcony hides views of Eiffel Tower when seated. 2. Bathroom sink does not drain adequately. Actually told them. 3. It was noisy, not from street but inside from other guests. I was woken when inebriated people next door came in during the night in the wee hrs of the morning and talked very loud for hours🙁 Exhausting . 4. For the entire experience, the price point is far too high. I had to move into the living room bed because my coil mattress was too hard, for $ 1000+ a night, unacceptable. Actually had to ask for more water, it wasn’t replaced. Had to ask for more towels, was given 1 apiece🫤. The toiletries are unacceptable, the brand was terrible, and they were not replaced for a few days…and on and on. To be fair, most of the service persons have been very kind and friendly. The breakfasts were very nice, as were the wait staff. We stayed 7 nights.

Is This Really a 5‑Star Hotel Anymore? I’ve stayed at the Hotel Regina before and had a truly spacious, beautifully furnished room overlooking a garden. Based on that experience—with email communications and web information I was confident that I’d receive a similar room—I booked again. This time, the room was surprisingly small, more like a standard Hilton or Marriott. The only table was a cramped desk already filled with coffee supplies, and the view was of nearby buildings, not the garden. Storage was awkward, the safe was hard to reach, and the bathroom lacked the tub and amenities I enjoyed on my previous stay. The staff and lobby remain excellent, and the location is fantastic. But the room itself felt closer to a 3‑star at American hotels closer -the experience, not what you expect at this price point. Very disappointing. I asked to discuss with the Hotel manager on 2 occasions. Still waiting for a call

Another review mentions expectations, that this is a 4 or 4.5 star establishment, not a 5, a sentiment with which I agree. Don’t get me wrong; my husband and I had a lovely time at the Regina but it’s not the Ritz or Bristol or Athineé. For sure, the difference is reflected in the price! I wanted a spacious room but simply can’t get my head around spending $3,000 a night for a basic room. So, if you’re a cheapskate like me who still enjoys a beautiful setting then the Regina is aces! What this hotel lacks in sparkly newness is made up for with charm galore! It’s truly an art deco dream. In fact, it’s such a special place that should they ever renovate the hotel I pray they keep all those enchanting deco details. They are stunning! Even the women’s bathroom off the lobby has tile to die for! Our room, while a bit “old school” was clean, comfortable and spacious. I asked for a quiet room so our view was of the courtyard and quite it was. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was perfectly adequate. Be advised, there are two sides to the location coin. Indeed, it’s grand for seeing the Parisian sights as it is situated right in the middle of them. The downside is that step out the revolving door and you’re right in the midst of the throngs. In summary, if location and space are your priority, the Regina is an excellent choice.

Overall excellent stay but expectations should be more for a 4.5 star hotel rather than 5 stars such as plaza athenee or the ritz (both much much more expensive). checkin was easy and the front desk staff were kind. the room was comfy and pleasant albeit a bit dated. we had a side view of the eiffel tower but only if you peered out the window and turned your head. it was more of a louvre view. we did not have breakfast due to it being quite costly. i was able to see the buffet and it really didn't look worth the high price to me. the concierge services were outstanding and they even made several dinner reservations for us prior to our arrival. they were also able to get museum tickets when they were sold out online. the location is unbeatable as it is very central and with easy access to multiple subway lines and buses. the one working elevator was tiny and felt more like a service elevator. hallways were wide and quiet. being middle of december, we got a relatively low rate which made our stay very worthwhile. not sure how we would see it if we were paying high season rates as there are other less expensive hotels in the vicinity.

We had a wonderful time at the Regina. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, all items included in our package arrived promptly. The hotel is very well geared to the Luxury Link auction features and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
