The room was unique - this is an old building so it is not your usual style room. The room was large with a very comfortable bathroom. The location is hard to beat and there is a very pleasant bar (Bar Anglais). The hotel was named after Queen Victoria. The location is perfect on Place des Pyramides.

My family and I are staying in the Parisian Suite right now and I wish I felt that it was worth it- more than 5K USD for the 2 night stay- but I can't.... The first day they were very accommodating and let us settle into part of the suite early, however they never unlocked the entire suite (children's room and additional bathroom) until asked to do. Why should we have to ask for the entire suite to be made available to us? Had this been done from the start we would have a much more restful start to our trip being able to spread out. Additionally it was not explained to us that there were switches by the door that we could use to indicate whether or not we wanted our rooms made up. Whether it was switched one way or the other from the start- or our kids flipped it to "privacy" I don't know but I can tell you I was pretty annoyed to come back to a room that had not been tidied. I called down to at least have towels brought up, but I felt like the reply was short of what it should have been. Oh I forgot to mention that on our first night we came back to our room with a gift on the bed meant for another guest. Imagine the happy surprise and then the disappointment. Total fail. There's even more but I guess that's all worth mentioning. I'm disappointed in our experience here but if you were to book a typical room perhaps you'd feel like you got your money's worth. Though I would rate my stay as "Poor", I am rating the hotel itself as "Very Good". The location & lobby are very nice, overall staff are friendly.

My husband and I spent two romantic days in Paris, at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating. Any service is available for the asking. The food and wine selection was wonderful. The hotel decor is beautiful - full of Art Deco woodworking, tile and design. We felt completely spoiled while here and loved being able to all the main sights in Paris from our front door - the Tuileries, the Louvre, the Musee D'Orsay and much more. What a wonderful gem in a great location. Highly recommend this beautiful, historic hotel.

Surprised my beloved Mother with a trip to Paris and The Regina was a perfect place for our mother/daughter getaway. The location was absolutely ideal and made the walk to the Louvre, Angelina, 2 metro stops and the wonderful shopping, etc..bearable for my Mother. The hotel is very classic in decor, with an intimate and boutique like feel. But the most wonderful aspect of the hotel is the service! From the wonderful morning Doorman who always helped pushing the heavy, revolving door, the housekeeping staff members (Joy, Comfort, all the ladies who kept our room spotless), Edmon and his wonderful staff every morning at a breakfast, and the Front desk personnel. Everyone we encountered was so professional, kind and courteous. We hope to visit again!

This was the third Easter holiday in a row we spent at the Regina, and once again it was a dream! As soon as the taxi stops outside the hotel the wonderful experience begins. The doorman comes to hold your door open, the luggage is taken care of, check-in is a breeze...oh it felt so good to step into the magnificent foyer again! The foyer is beautiful in the daytime but it is so softly luminous and enchanting in the evening! As regards the room, for me the HIGHLIGHT is having a balcony from which I can see the Tour Eiffel - I spend some time every day, sitting there resting my back against the window sash looking at the Tour Eiffel, the Jardins des Tuileries, the Louvre, Les Invalides and Rue de Rivoli. It will give me lovely memories to treasure when I'm far away at home. I was lucky enough to do it basking in the sun! Thank you Regina management for the lovely room - it makes all the difference to my holiday experience! As always service was perfect! Each and every member of staff was so obliging and efficient and everything was taken care of, to the last detail. This time we found petals on our bed making up a heart shape - to commemorate the start of our 30th wedding anniversary celebrations. it was a lovely touch indeed! They are also extremely polite. The hotel is spotless, the room was kept brilliantly clean. The bed is large and very, very comfortable, with lovely, crisp, spotlessly clean linen. Large, soft, clean towels and luxury toiletries. The hotel is in an excellent location to see all the main sites, for dining and for shopping. You just walk out of the door in the morning and there it all is, feast your eyes on the beauty of Paris! In the evening, after bathing and a rest, out again straight into the heart of the magical city of light, right outside the door! We were so glad to be back a third time, and when in Paris again, it will definitely be at the Regina!
