Reviews for Renaissance Paris Le Parc Trocadero Hotel
A friend and I just stayed for 3 days. I found the hotel from a search of Marriotts around Paris and the property looked nice. FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Nice property! The hotel is situated in a nice neighborhood (some locals told me it's a pricey area) and is very convenient to several metro lines as well as several popular sites. We arrived a few hours early but a room was ready. ROOM: The room was super comfortable - the bed and pillows were better than many other properties I've visited (and I travel a lot for work). Our room was very spacious (considering European hotel rooms can be pretty tight). It was very clean, lots of daylight, and curtains offered good blackout at night. Our room faced the main street so it can be a little noisy but it didn't wake me in the middle of the night. I usually don't comment about the soaps but this hotel had great toiletries. STAFF: The front desk staff and concierge were stellar! We also interacted with housekeeping during our stay and it was an A+ experience. Everyone was friendly and helpful. On the one day there was some rain, they offered an umbrella. DINING: We didn't really eat much at the hotel. One morning we had their "full breakfast" and it was a complete spread of pastries, fruits, eggs, meats, cereals, etc. It was very good but a tad pricey for what was offered (but honestly expected based on my stay at similar hotels). RECOMMENDATION: As far as other dining options around the hotel, I would recommend venturing out of the neighborhood. I have local friends and they quickly told me that the handful of good dining options in the area are pricey. If you venture a little further, you can find great options at better prices.

Small rooms, good breakfast( not 5 star though) and as with most hotels in Paris they take two weeks to get back money from the credit cards, our rooms was paid through a travel agent at the time that we booked the room.( I really like to see when we get our money back!!!!

To be clear, I am rating with recognition of the price. For a cheaper hotel I would give a higher rating as it is a comfortable hotel. However, for the price I'd expect more. Room 350 is dark and the air con was not working. The shower took an age to warm up. None of this is disastrous but it is not expected from a 4* hotel.

We stayed for six pleasant nights here. The hotel is located within a short walking distance from the Eiffel Tower and the Arch. Also have several subway stations nearby. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast buffet

I was really excited to my fourth time in Paris, one of my favorite cities! It would be my first time in a Renaissance hotel, and the expectations were big, the neighborhood was good, very close to the Eiffel Tower and other attractions. The hotel itself was more to a good 4 star hotel, breakfast was very good, the staff cordial, but I booked a a room with a king size bed and I got a double bed, it was not small, but definitely not a king size. In the reception they told me they did not have more king size beds available. It is always bad when you get a downgrade instead of an upgrade. So to me it was not a 5 star experience. I stayed in others 4 star hotels in Paris, and really loved them. I prefer the Saint Germain area, more lively and fun, but this area is also good.
