The place where you can enjoy every detail! Location is quite and convenient, there’s no Parish noise in the center of the city (comparing with Grand Hotel Intercontinental near Opera). Staff is perfect, friendly and very professional. Shangri-La is our ideal “homestyle” hotel all over the world.

This is my first time staying in Shangrila Paris. And this trip does not disappointed me at all. We were very well welcomed by the staffs, escorting us to the lounge and the room. Julien Perello is the best staff i want to mention. He is the best staff i’ve ever seen. We had duplex with large terrace and of course Eiffel view. It is totally amazing. We also had breakfast at the terrace. The concierge was also amazing. They arranged the restaurant for us to where we wanted. I love to be back to Shangrila Paris again.

My now husband and I booked the Terrace Eiffel Tower View room for our intimate elopement ceremony. I contacted the hotel in advance to let them know the plans for our stay. They were very attentive through email, offering menus for dinner and any concierge services we might need. They also have their own elopement packages but I already had a photographer, flowers, etc. and really just needed the suite. I corresponded with the Duty Manager Evan who offered a complimentary bottle of champagne and a heart shaped cake to be available in the room at check in. I was already pleased but when we arrived to check in, they told me we had been upgraded to the Duplex Terrace Eiffel Tower View Suite! Another manager Julien came to provide a tour of the hotel as he discussed the history of the building. The grounds are impressive and it is surreal being there in a former royal residence with many of the original details still in place. He walked me to the suite personally and it was jaw dropping. The terrace and view were absolutely AMAZING! Next was hair, makeup, etc. Everyone was impressed with the suite. The rest of our stay was equally as impressive. The service at the Shangri-La is impeccable from the time you pull up outside to your checkout. We had dinner on our terrace under the sparkling Eiffel Tower. Our order arrived promptly and was set up on the terrace along with a heater and blankets. The room has every amenity you could desire. I enjoyed a nice bath with the soothing bath salts provided, and a plush robe and slippers greeted me as I finished. I have absolutely no complaints about the Shangri-La and look forward to spending future anniversaries here. They treat you like royalty!

Having never visited Paris, I wanted to bring my wife to celebrate her birthday. The reputation of the Shangri-La Paris made it our first place to look and really pleased we were able to get a room with a balcony - as the view is impossible to beat. The staff were friendly, as expected for a hotel of its Calibre - and the concierge worked very hard to make our stay the best it could be. I would say that I would want the Shangri-La to look at how they might be able to continue to push the bar - as it did feel dated (in the most glamorous way possible) and I do acknowledge this is being very picky. But if they want to compete and position as THE BEST in Paris - please do not just lean on the view.

The most amazing reception at check-in after a long flight, had the Asst Front Desk Manager receive us and led to the waiting lounge with a drink of choice provided. Then escorted to our suite, out my God, we we upgraded to the Le Suite Challiot because when I made my reservations I indicated that ir was my fiancée's birthday and I would be proposing to her that night when we came back from dinner. The view was amazing, basically looking the Grand Dame of Paris from your balcony( I thought I could touch it- you can if you have long hands). They gave us a romantic set up and so much champagne on the house in our suite. They even made a chocolate cake for my fiancée to celebrate her bon annivesaire. The conceirge made all our reservations for skip the line and restaurants and gave best recommendations for what to do each day. The free ride in S500 Mercedes house car to an event was so nice for my baby, so we showed up in style. The food was amazing at La Bohania and Shang Palace. I remember the people most, so sweet, so kind and so willing to help and serve, you could never ask for so much from staff at the Shangri-La, talk about service from the heart. Whenever I can afford it in any city, I will go, it is got to be the Shangri- La hotel. Not cheap but worth so much more. Paris was amazing because we had an awesome bed space to go back to and soak in those deep tubs or take the rain shower(best in class)- amazing rooms and views and furnishings- I want to move it but had to go back to work. Merci beacoup Shangri-La
