Great experience!

We were thrilled to return to the Victoria Palace Hotel! Amazing staff, very clean hotel, the most plush towels, and a comfortable, firm bed. Can't wait to return!

Special St. Germain Hotel

This hotel has a very convenient location with boutique style creative interiors. I reserved a larger room which by European standards was huge. The room came with a small outside balcony able to accommodate a sit down coffee table over a very quiet street. My only criticism may be a temporary inconvenience, however, one of the two small elevators was regularly out-of-service making room access frustrating. Breakfast was a large selection of good food with plenty of staff helping out. Overall there always seemed to be an abundance of staff happy to help. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

There are better values for the price but in a great spot

For the price, I don't think this hotel is worth it. Have stayed in comparable hotels in London and Paris previously, and they have more in-room and on-property amenities and better customer service. Location is fantastic close to multiple metro stations and room is super clean. Noise level is normal for a city. I had to call the front desk on several occasions and no one answered, so I had to use my cell instead to call from an outside number and they finally picked up. Comfy beds, bad lighting in bathroom, not much closet or drawer space.

Great location, lovely large room

Very nice hotel on a quiet street, near shopping and restaurants. We had a lovely junior suite with balconies. Would definitely return.

Not as expected

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

This hotel is actually quite well positioned in a quiet side street of the main drag that heads towards StGermaine. . We stayed here before because of its convenient location , decor and lovely rooms . Sadly this will be our last time here . At the moment they are digging up the roads so it’s noisy and taxis can not enter the street. Secondly our junior suite was disappointing. Although it did have a balcony it was not on the courtyard side so it was noisy . It was an awkward long thin shape and cluttered with furniture. The gap to get to the bed on my side meant most people would have to turn sideways. The cupboard was inadequate unless you wanted to hang only 4 items of clothing so we ended up with living out of our suitcases which was all but impossible in the room so we had to move furniture around to accommodate one suitcase whilst the other remained in the little hallway . Plus 2 of the chairs were soiled as was the pillow on my bed . The housekeeping was not acceptable either with both water, cups, glasses and other items not being replaced . You were also only given 2 coffee pods, 2 teabags and no decaf which was a first for us especially in in a junior suite. The staff at reception seemed disinterested or irritated . The gym booking situation was also both irritating and faulty and I heard 2 other guests discussing this with much frustration . The breakfast was still lovely and generous and the lovely Nina was most warm and welcoming .
