Reviews for Canyons Grand Summit Hotel

Do not go here

DO NOT STAY HERE. My daughter required emergency surgery followed by a hospital stay on the day we were supposed to check in and I lost 100% of the money on this hotel (not even a credit or partial credit). The hotel was not fully committed, including for the type of room I had. Every other biz that I had pre-arranged gave me full credit. There are plenty of great ski in/ski out hotels in Park City where I’m sure the customer service will be better, for instance I have heard the Pendry is terrific and I have liked the Marriott Mountsinside.

Yeah it's good, The way she served us is quite polite and having lot of patience. This brings a good impression on this Hotel, and it's a unforgettable memories And learn by seeing your seniors as your good enough, even though learn some serving techniques from your seniors, Ignore if my suggestion is wrong. Hope you have great future ahead, and Idlao

not a five start hotel

Wi-fi didn't work, staff was basically clueless, room cleaning needs to be "scheduled" (which upon check in no one informed us about), condition of the property is way past its prime, old, noisy air con, etc. Restaurants have very poor basic menus. Just no way this could remotely be qualified as a 5-star property. Location is great for the skiing but only for that as it is dead at night. Very overpriced for the condition.

Spend less and get more. The location is NOT worth the premuim price with room quality so bad.

When I saw paper thin walls, I mean paper thin. Never stayed in a hotel my entire life with walls this thin. I had to blast the TV at night to drown out the next room...and they were just talking. Shower didn't drain, which is gross. The smell of the room was awful. Clearly something bad was used to cover up a much worse smell and they combined to create a truly unique stink. Bed was a $120/night bed. For $900 a night, I feel as ripped off as I possibly could.

Outstanding location with nice clean rooms.

1) Ski-in/ski-out location a few steps from the Orange Bubble chair and 30 seconds from the gondola. 2) Adequate kitchens (great for families) with a large dining table on the lock off side. 3) Large comfortable bed with a sofa bed and sleeping location by the windows for the kids. 4) Ask for a mountain or valley view. 5) Furnishings are fine. 6) The room was clean with one minor issue that housekeeping fixed within 30 minutes. 7) Summary: This is an excellent hotel. It’s not at the level (or price) of a prime property at Deer Valley, but the location is perfect and the staff is on par with a Hyatt or decent Marriott.
