Paros is a cool, sophisticated island, not as exploited touristically as Mykonos or Santorini. Yria is undoubtedly the best hotel offering of the island. A beautiful, low key hotel with the most sublime garden with flowers, trees and local herbs (I haven't seen anything like else in the Aegean). I absolutely loved the surroundings, the elegant architecture and the staff which was so attentive and warm. The food is very good, and the pool experience truly delightful. The location is very convenient, and the 3' minute walk to Parasporos beach is easy and pleasing - the beach is splendid! Pity that I didn't have time to indulge myself in the spa. Yria is the most wonderful hotel - will definitely visit it again.

I cannot explain how much we loved everything at Yria! The room was spacious and comfortable, the gardens stunning, every single person working at the hotel was super friendly, welcoming and professional, and the food was delicious! We were in Paros for 4 days and we spent most of the time in the hotel and Parasporos (the beach in front of the hotel), because everything was so lovely that we didn't want to leave! We will go back soon! :D

First, if you are considering Greek Islands, you definitely need to go to Paros. The best spot for sure. Second, stay at Yria because everyone is super helpful, kind, and willing to make your stay memorable. That's all you need to know.

We spent 3 beautiful days and nights at Yria Resort. The staff was extremely accommodating and absolutely lovely, responding to every question and providing valuable information. We stayed at Yria during our final days of our 2-week vacation in Greece---this was our favorite place by far! The room, the pool and our private beach were beautiful....making our stay so relaxing and a place to which we can't wait to return.

The Yria is as much a beautiful arboretum as a resort. In early-mid May the flowers and trees provided a lovely setting for a restful stay away from towns. In addition, the excellent swimming pool and access to a secluded beach 5 minutes by foot allowed a variety of water activities. We ate a lunch and dinner at the resort but preferred the beach food options. Visitors should be aware that without a car, the infrequent local bus or a taxi would be the only transport options though it is possible to have the hotel meet the ferry or plane. The attentive desk also can help arrange tour options as well.
