I stayed with my husband 3 years ago at the Langham for his birthday and a trip before our daughter was born. Since that time, they have seemingly renovated the rooms. The hotel is luxurious and so welcoming. I love staying here and always want to when we visit family in Pasadena. We stayed this time with our 3 year old and 4 month old and it still felt like a relaxing time. The room was spacious and well insulated. I did not hear another guest at all while we were in the room or sleeping. We love that. The food and ambiance is spot-on. I had dinner with a girlfriend on the terrace of the Tap Room on a beautiful SoCal night with jazz in the background. We were in heaven. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. I never want to leave! The floral arrangements are magnificent. Such a special place to spend time and relax.

Love our stay at this hotel! The quality customer care from the entire staff was refreshing and top notch. Had great food, ambience, and service at both The Royce and The Terrace (Breakfast was so good) plus the property is gorgeous! Highly recommend to anyone staying in the area!

This is a historical hotel built over 100 years ago. If you haven't been there, it's worth the stay. Very relaxing, friendly staff, nice dining, and fun bar lounge. Two swimming pools. Nice grounds to walk, with Japanese gardens, ponds, bridges, lawns, etc. The rooms are small to medium in size, and are oddly shaped, but most have nice views. The adjacent neighborhood is great to walk around in and admire the gorgeous grand estates. My husband and I enjoy staying here when we visit Pasadena, even if it is a bit pricey. (Even the parking is $47 per day!) Splurge a little...

The Langham is a beautiful property and maintained with care and dedication. It is vastly more beautiful then when we had our wedding reception there 50 years ago. Our room was well appointed and sparking from top to bottom. Walk the property it is lovely. The restaurants are excellent and the staff shine as an example of the Langham's desire to welcome you back . We were going to check out the new Biltmore in Santa Barbara on our next visit to Southern California but I already made reservation for the Langham in February. Splurge and stay on the concierge level.

The place enjoys phenomenal location and the grounds are spectacular, I figure this is what you pay for because the bathroom in the room was super nice but the room itself was just OK. We were quite disappointed that our windows in the premium corner room would not open though the on the photos they looked as if the would open - our bad for assuming anything. I understand the security but they should open just a few inches.
