The Langham Huntington, Pasadena

This is a beautiful and historic hotel with well-manicured grounds. is located in an affluent neighborhood in Pasadena and is fairly close to a variety of cafes and restaurants on Lake and Old Town. It is a very solid four-star hotel. However, the pricing of the rooms are commensurate with five-star hotels. Therefore, I don't think the value is very strong because you can pay $700 for a standard room without a $700-a-night service or quality experience. You are paying for the gorgeous grounds and the old historic feel of the hotel. But the hotel is a bit dated, and the pools are very kid-friendly, lacking attentive staff, high-quality food, and a variety of healthier options. The service is inconsistent, but overall, it's a very pleasant and peaceful place to be.

To say this hotel was amazing and a dream come true would not do justice to how truly beautiful and wonderful The Langham Pasadena really is. The property itself blows you away, the staff are super attentive and patient, and the food here is second to none. If you’re thinking about staying here, stop thinking and go for it.

Too many resort pass day users. Pool areas were chaotic and overcrowded, yet we paid a $70 resort fee. Absolutely not what we expected for a resort charging $700/nt for a room.

We've returned to the Langham over the years because of the extraordinary staff and overall quality of the offerings. It has become our "home away from home." The location is excellent for the various activities we conduct in Los Angeles, providing a relaxing alternative to DTLA venues. The Langham is our "go to" spot anytime we have to be in LA.

Perfect hotel and location to base ourselves for our two week trip to California. Hotel was situated in the most beautiful part of San Marino. Morning walks and cycles were a dream. The hotel oozed class and calm as soon as you walked in. The rooms were lovely, well designed, spacious and filled with nice touches. The staff were amazing, always available and ready to help with any request. Particular shout out to Victoria at the front desk for assisting us with a few changes we requested, and these made all the difference to us. Thank you so much, you were amazing and so were the rest of the team. We will return, no question about it!
