Exellent Hotel!! We spend a very good time there. The room are lovely and classy. The beach is beautiful, the cocktail bar have a very nice view, the restaurant is amazing, the chef is a famous greek chef and his pork is so good! ;) All the staff are so kind we can't wait to come back.

We stayed in a pool room, a clean hotel with lots of stark white walls. We had a disability room which was fitted out to a level I've never seen in Greece before with ramps, and a proper disabled bathroom suite. The breakfast was a really good buffet style one on a terrace overlooking the bay. The egg chef was very good. My only complaint would be that the hotel wasn't very welcoming... there were plenty of staff who were all very attentive, but there was no sense of warmth that you normally associate with hospitality in Greece.

First up, the good stuff. The location is beautiful. We stayed in a suite and it was spacious and very well appointed, but the 'private pool' was really just a plunge pool in a very small courtyard. However, the service was a real mixed bag. The beach staff were great, the bar staff tried hard but were very disorganised, but the front of house staff seemed overwhelmed and frankly disinterested. We asked them to recommend a car hire company and we were told that they'd called couple but there were 'no cars available on the island' and this was a 'real problem'. We made one phone call ourselves and we had a car hired in a matter of minutes, delivered the next morning. We also had issues with the fuses going in the suite and again the front desk staff were at a total loss to know what to do. We were told, 'come back when it actually happens'. Bit difficult when it was happening in the middle of the night while we were asleep. In fairness, we mentioned both these issues to the manager who offered to change our room and was very apologetic. He also gave us a bottle of wine by way of an apology. Just a shame all his staff didn't have his empathy.

We believed that Patmos Aktis was one of the best resort hotels in Europe. During our recent visit we continued to admire the beautiful location and the wonderful facilities. Unfortunately, the service has greatly deteriorated from the past years. Possibly, they hIred new managers who recommended shortcuts to increase their profits. During breakfast they do not have waiters refilling coffees etc. What is clearly rude is that they do not let you finish your coffee but they force you to go away in order for them to use the tables. For the " turning down" service they just turn the TV on for you to see their promotions. The management has to realize that if they want to be again better than the best with the same high prices they have to reverse some of their decisions.

Nice beach which is bit expensive, but service was super, will go there with pleasure. Sea is clean and beautiful, you can take good pictures there. Its also good for families with kids and for everyone, who wants to rest and enjoy silence and sounds of sea.
