Andaz Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo

As usual excellent service!!!! This was our 4th visit and planning for next year. From arrival greeted by two of the employees, one of them Mauricio, always nice to me and my husband!!!! In the various restaurants and at the beach personnel is dedicated to ensure one’s enjoyment!!! Santiago at Casa de Playa. Carlos in Meso also recognized us from our previous visits having attended us in Ostra and last year in Meso, was very attentive! In Ostra our servers Carlos and Jafet were excellent! Roy from all was the best, on top of everything to ensure our enjoyment!!! Took special care of our seats, gave us extraordinary suggestions! At breakfast he also explained us the new concept in Ostra and had us having a great time and food!!!! Roy is fantastic!!!!!! Katarina came by to our table remembering our visit of last year and was as usual great to us! In Chao Pescao, we were served by Cassandra! A fine young lady who was not only attentive, she also made great food suggestions!!!! Great service. In Bongho, one of the mornings was made better by the service of Aimy and David!!!! The beach is just the best! Transported in a boat to a beautiful beach by Wilbert!!!! Is like a swimming pool and with such great service makes the whole stay a real vacation!!!!!

We had a great experience. Location was great. Every part of our stay far exceeded expectations from the staff, to the food and the amenities. This is our first trip to Costa Rica and we can't wait to come back again. When the say Pura Vida, they truly mean it and live it.

Such a cool hotel vibe! Kids loved the pools and the snorkeling and kayaks. We did the dive in movie night at the pool one night. We planned to go out to dinner most nights but we did the Dive Bar at the marina twice and liked it but ended up eating at the hotel the other nights. We just wanted to hang out at the hotel because the ambiance is that cool. Dinner at Ostra was our favorite. Breakfast at Rio Bhongo is exceptional. Everything you could want and if they didn’t have it they’d get it for you. Irina, Eymi, and Paola made our mornings so smooth and lovely. Heads up if you are Globalist or using a GOH certificate - this hotel seems to sell out often so getting an upgrade during higher travel times seems to not be a thing. We were disappointed to not get an upgrade but understand capacity. This hotel also does not do the 4pm late checkout. We kind of planned around that, so we pivoted on check out day to make it work. They did offer for us to use the spa facilities if needed after check out.

An amazing property — pristine, peaceful, surrounded by nature, yet conveniently close to Liberia Airport. The rooms, pools, beaches, and restaurants were beautiful and easy to access by foot or with a friendly bellman on a cart. We stayed in a bay view suite… bright, spacious, tastefully decorated — highly recommended! And the staff at Andaz? Every single person we met was kind, attentive, genuine, professional, and always smiling. Thank you all for making our stay unforgettable! We went on two amazing excursions — a private rainforest tour and a day full of adventure activities — all booked through Nomad Tours CR. We highly recommend them! Gabriel and his team are local, knowledgeable, and incredibly reliable. Our guides were fantastic — friendly, fun, and very professional. Nomad also arranged our airport transfers, which were punctual. He stayed in touch the whole time and made sure everything ran smoothly. Supporting local businesses like this one is a win — great service, fair prices, and unforgettable experiences!

A great place to get away, the employees make sure your stay is fun and enjoyable. Great rooms and the restaurants on the property give a great variety of Costa Rician cuisine. Highly recommend! Be sure to check out Coffee and Vinyl for an amazing coffee experience.
