A fantastic location, beautiful rooms and very friendly staff. This is a great location to stop and relax. There are many activities to enjoy and also the spa is very serene. The only downside is the food , although very healthy and nutritious the meals in the evening were somewhat bland and didn’t really showcase how good the food could be . The breakfast, lunch and room service options were decent. Would I return to this hotel? Yes !

Our visit to Hacienda AltaGracia has been marvelous! The excursions have been amazing, the food is incredible and fresh, and the customer service is above and beyond. Our Compas, Marco and Paolo, have been wonderful in being both attentive to all of our needs and offering suggestions regarding daily activities. All of our experiences are must-do’s! Our first excursion was the Sloth Safari & Coastal Nature Hike with Sapoa Adventures. Pabrö Sanchez was our guide and incredibly knowledgeable about all things Costa Rican. We saw all kinds of wildlife including wild boar, beautiful birds, a sloth and baby and over 20 monkeys - both Capuchin monkeys and Howler monkeys. And, the most beautiful 175 meter high waterfall. My husband did the Ultralight aircraft and it was exhilarating with beautiful scenery. Our other excursions were horseback riding with beautiful horses and scenery and Ziplining in the Costa Rican Jungle with 7 different lines - also so much fun! Also, worth noting - the entire property is lush with flowers and greenery and the casitas are absolutely beautiful and housekeeping takes amazing care of you during your stay. I highly recommend!

Our Stay at hacienda AltaGracia was amazing from start to finish. The greeting upon arrival made us feel very special. The level of service and attention to detail were like nothing I had experienced before. I have stayed at your property in Hawaii which is also spectacular. You have achieved a level of excellence at your properties which in my opinion is unmatched. Your entire team are phenomenal and truly make the stay very special.
