Family and Birthday Trip of a Lifetime
In a word, AltaGracia is "perfect." Our casita, the pools, the spa, the restaurants, the offered activities, and the grounds are exceptional. But, it is the service and the people that make AltaGracia as special as it is. They know you by name almost immediately and can truly anticipate your every need. For example, we were having lunch at the adult pool when it started to rain and the temperature dropped a bit, and almost immediately we were offered blankets. Another example--we commented how delicious the chimichurri sauce was at dinner and then we had the recipe sent to us immediately after dinner. Another example--we got caught in a storm after our ficus tree climb excursion and were met with dry towels and umbrellas on our drive back to our casita. We cannot recommend AltaGracia enough and cannot wait to come back. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Such a great vacation!
We had an amazing time at the Hacienda AltaGracia. Our family was able to both relax and have some adventurous and cultural experiences. We really enjoyed the food at the Hacienda along with the activities both on property and off. There were nice trails to hike around the hotel and all of the pools were great. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. Our casita was beautiful and perfect for a family of 4 - the view was stunning.

The trip of a lifetime!
We’ve stayed at many luxury resorts around the world and this was truly the best experience we’ve ever had. From the moment we got off the plane, we were treated like royalty. We came with our kids ages 7 and 9, and we all had the most amazing vacation! The grounds, the room, the food, the experiences and the staff all made this trip one that we will never forget. We hope to return again soon!

Beautiful property, amenities and staff. We did an excursion with Pabrö Sánchez (Sapoa Adventures) which was a highlight of the stay.

Family vacation at AltaGracia
We had an amazing time at AltaGracia. The property is beautiful and so calm and peaceful. The staff is incredibly attentive and the casita was perfect for our family. We did a boat excursion to snorkel and see Costa Rica wildlife through the hotel which was incredible. It was led by Pabro Sanchez and he was a fabulous guide. He’s an expert at wildlife and professional photographer so we spotted so many rare birds, underwater animals like sharks and turtles, and even spotted a sloth in a tree. He was 5 star tour guide!
