Reviews for Pan Pacific Perth
From the moment the taxi door opened until I left the next day, I was made to feel like an honoured and welcome guest. So very rare these days. The Pan Pacific is a five star hotel in Perth. Yeah well, ho-hum. However, every single, solitary, staff member I engaged with was sensational. I would stay there again just for the hospitality. Fitness Centre well appointed and open 24/7 which was very much appreciated. (A small niggle - steam room could be hotter.) Rooms are, maybe, a teensy bit tired. But it doesn’t matter. Extremely friendly, cheerful, helpful staff - without the obsequiousness you sometimes get in 5 stars. Makes a world of difference. Yep. Put this one on the list.

Great views of the swan river (we were on the 16th floor) Great hotel for both couples and business. We were in one of the older rooms which was definitely not worth the price compared to other hotels in the area. Pool was absolutely freezing as it doesn't get any sun in the location its in. However friendly staff made up for the few small things. Would stay again but only for a business trip.
This is the poor relation of the Pan Pacific group. The staff don't know what the deals are or, indeed, what is happening in the hotel. Room fine but a little faded. Pool a windswept chilly area and, to get to it, you have to walk through the buffet breakfast area!

Stayed here for one night on a recent trip to WA. Wish we had chosen somewhere else. Arrived at 2.30 pm to check in and there was a massive queue and very few staff to deal with it. When I got to check in the room wasn't ready but the staff member on reception apologised and gave us a complimentary drinks voucher for the lobby bar which was a nice gesture. She advised that the room would be ready in 15 mins and she would text me. So we went to the bar to wait and order a drink. It was closed and you had to dial your order through to somewhere else! We did this and the staff member said she would bring our drinks through. When I went to use the toilets in the lobby they were also closed! A sign informed me I had to go to the conference area of the hotel to get to a toilet. This requires a walk through the hotel and up 3 floors in the lift. The staff member never contacted me to tell me my room was ready so I had to go back to reception and remind them. We did get a lovely room so can't complain about that. Breakfast the next day was an eye opener. I have never had to queue to get in to breakfast before! It wasn't even that busy - they just don't have the proper processes in place to make it all work smoothly. In summary, it is a nice hotel with helpful staff but they fall short on may fronts and need to rethink their processes. If I return to Perth I would stay somewhere else.
