I was looking forward to spending the night at the KIMPTON Monaco for my brother’s 60th birthday. However an hour before I was to leave NJ my mother had a fall and I had to drive her to the emergency room. I called late last night to see if I could be refunded or at least get a credit for another night but they didn’t care and said absolutely not - policy. That’s a shame and unfortunate. Let’s just say I’ll never stay at this hotel ever. My mom will hopefully be released tomorrow - not like they care. Unreal.

From the none existent door team, the aggressive and surly reception staff, the ludicrous $20 “early check in” surcharge to the smelly public area, the disgusting lifts, stained carpeting and general air of neglect this was one of the worst experiences that we have had. So bad in fact that (despite having pre-paid) we left and stayed elsewhere. When we handed back our keycards the staff didn’t even ask why. Avoid this hotel there are many many better alternatives.

Joseph is the best employee I’ve ever met! So helpful and kind ! He is the awesomeness person I’ve ever met and I could just give him the biggest hug. whatever he makes is not enough. He definitely needs a raise. Best guy I’ve met in a long time… Considering I’m a lesbian lol

Great hotel and fun atmosphere at the Red Owl Tavern. Our guests loved their rooms and the restaurant for breakfast, The hotel was very close to our wedding venue which made it perfect. We could walk! Close to great attractions. Rooftop bar was enjoyed by many of the guests as well.

We were here for a family wedding. The rooms here are lovely and well-appointed. We thought the bed and pillows were very comfortable. It would have been nice to have a 2nd chair in the room as one of us had to sit on the bed. The glass by the side of the shower could be a little longer to keep water from going on the floor. We enjoyed the breakfast both days and the location can't be beat Very pleasant and helpful staff.
