You would be crazy NOT to stay at the Sofitel

Stayed at the Sofitel for 6 nights in a balcony room with lounge access. The hotel is clean and modern, every member of staff I had any dealings with were professional, helpful and very friendly. English is spoken by everyone at the hotel, I had a query one day, I visited the front desk, they knew my name and my room number without me telling them, impressive. The lounge provides afternoon tea between 3.00 & 5.00pm and canopies and drinks between 6.00 & 8.00pm, nice selection of drinks, small sandwiches and deserts which are different every day. The hotel provides assistance with taxis and visits to local attractions. There is a large shopping mall next door to the hotel, which you can easily walk too. You should bring with you some small $ notes for spending on taxis and at markets. Big thank you to Rida, Mengsim, Nita, Piseth and Phano for making the visit a very memorable one.

A beautiful oasis in a very busy city

This hotel is a beautiful oasis in Phnom Penh. In amongst trees and gardens, it has a very luxurious feel. For a large hotel, the staff are so friendly and helpful, yet still professional. Our room was spacious and clean and we slept so well (one of the things I love about Sofitel hotels is that they put a lot of emphasis on getting a good nights sleep!). Choice of restaurants is great, would highly recommend Hachi, the Japanese restaurant.

Simply the best!

I travel very much and must say that I have rarely seen a level of exquisite service like at this Sofitel. All of the staff are outstanding! Mr Vutha organises everything in a blink of an eye! The room was great, wonderful bed and great breakfast. Lovely pool! I warmly recommend this hotel and a stay there is definitely worth the trip. I will be back.

Phenomenal stay in Phnom Penh

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We had such an amazing stay at Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra. It really feels like a little oasis right in the middle of the city. From our balcony, we had a beautiful view over the pool, over the city and the river too. We loved spending time in the sauna and steam room, and the in-room dining was honestly fantastic. Breakfast at La Coupole was incredible — one of the best breakfast buffets we’ve ever had. We also tried pizza at the Italian restaurant, which was super delicious. What really made our stay stand out was the attention to small details. For example, the staff noticed we had lots of charging cables for our laptop and camera gear and neatly tied them up, and they even left a bookmark in a book on our desk so we could pick up exactly where we left off. These little touches made us feel so cared for and comfortable. Definitely one of the best stays we had in Cambodia.
