What can I say. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The building themselves are tasteful and French in style. The food is amazing and the day spa perfect. We were treated so well from start to finish. I can not fault the servicemen any way. We were part of a luxury escape package and did not know what to expect. Well it went well above our expectations. Concierge helped us decide what to see and do and made it happen effortlessly. The location is good. Close to everything and right next door to a world class shopping center (if you feel the need). Tuk tuk easily available at the hotel and only $1 each way per person. The drivers work for the hotel and have excellent English and local knowledge. Thank you Kong! If you are not sure where to stay , this is great and a nice relief from the streets and heat. Oh and the bed was super comfy with pillows to die for. The pool looked great but we were too busy out and about to use it.

This was a fantastic place to stay, the opulence started from the moment we were picked up from the airport by Mr. RATHA, he was extremely helpful and a wealth of information, he is truly a great ambassador to the Sofitel name. He would go out of his way to meet us at the door on return from trips/excursions. The restaurant staff were fantastic and I highly recommend the seafood buffet on the Friday nights. Our waiter Meas SAMBATH was very attentive to our needs. The only down part was the music in the lobby bar was not tailored to a multicultural society and the smoking in the area was very off putting to non smokers

This hotel is a quiet respite in a busy, wonderful city. It is a resort to get away from it all. It was great to come back here after days of sightseeing. Sovanthan was wonderful and really helped me navigate things. He was extremely helpful!! I will be bringing my family here in the future!

My wife and I took our family trip to Bali and Cambodia in August 2017. We stayed at the Sofitel in Bali (the first leg of our trip) and had an amazing time. Traveling from Bali to Siem Riep (Angkor Wat), Cambodia we had a short overnight layover in Phnom Penh and picked a 3 star hotel to stay the night in. Unfortunately this hotel was nothing of what it represented online and left us not only very unsettled but feeling a little unsafe on our first night in Cambodia. What's more they couldn't give us any recommendations on where to eat at that time (around 9p). So, being tired, hungry and feeling anxiety we called a Tuk Tuk and did our best to communicate to the driver that we wanted to eat somewhere. En route to some place we hoped was decent and safe, we passed the plush grounds of Sofitel Phokeethra and immediately redirected the driver to drop us there. Upon arrival at the hotel lobby the main restaurants were closed but Christopher at the lobby greeted us and made us feel right at home. He went above and beyond to accommodate us with a great meal, drinks and light conversation. Since we were already staying somewhere else, unfortunately we didn't stay the night at the Sofitel but definitely will on our next visit. Thank you Sofitel and thank you Christopher for turning around our first night in Cambodia.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel through the Luxury Escapes package and cannot rave enough about this place My husband who travels extensively throughout Asia said this was the best experience he has ever had! The level of service was impeccable particularly from Soandy the front of house service manager and Simon in the Executive Lounge. The only small suggestion would be to play some music in the spa whilst having treatments. Five star service/Five star Hotel Well done team! Will be back Rachel
