CONS: The room smelled like sewage, there were cockroaches in the room, the pool is small, and food is not good. PROS: It is very quiet in the resort. I would not stay here again.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The views were absolutely breathtaking—whether it was sunrise or sunset, the scenery never disappointed. The service was exceptional from start to finish; every staff member I interacted with was professional, friendly, and genuinely attentive to making my stay comfortable. The room (and the entire property) was spotless, which I really appreciated. It’s clear that cleanliness and hospitality are top priorities here. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable experience.

The Royal Palms is a beautiful property Calling it just a 'hotel' does not do it justice. The stay began with a mini-tour of the property along w some historical information shared by the front desk staff. Nice touch!!! The grounds are wonderful and the view of Camelback was stunning both in the morning and sundown. We cannot wait to return to this surprisingly joyous site with so much history.

The bones of Royal Palms Resort Scottsdale are undeniably beautiful— that beauty was dimmed by a clear lack of attention to detail and cleanliness. The in-room experience fell short: visible moisture damage, a broken shower knob, and carpets more sticky than soft. The pool area, while visually lovely, was let down by dirty pool water and debris, which took away from the resort’s serene potential. I did notice the maintenance team doing some repairs during my stay... On a brighter note, the pool staff and breakfast team were excellent—friendly, efficient, and genuinely warm even in the 100 plus degree heat! But that energy didn’t carry into the evening, where bar service was noticeably slow and disengaged, lacking the charm and professionalism I anticipated. The resort desperately needs a deep, top-to-bottom detail clean—not just for comfort, but to preserve the sense of luxury it’s built its name on. There’s a stunning property underneath all of this. With the right care, Royal Palms could easily shine and I hope to return to see them.

Our room was phenomenal... we had a living room, a very expansive bathroom with a soaking tub and shower and a beautiful bedroom with the most comfortable mattress! Aharum had french doors to the outside where we had a shaded patio with table and chairs and then chaise lounges out in the sunny location by four beautiful bubbling fountains. A lovely location... nd did I mention that we both received a glass of champagne upon registering...well done!!

We booked the 4-night package on Luxury Link and it was well worth it. The package was an amazing value! My wife and I spent four days there and wish we could have spent a few more. The food at T. Cook's was the best I have had in a while. The menu also offered a local-products-only meal, which was terrific. The spa was very nice and we fully enjoyed each of our treatments. The rest of the time was spent laying by the pool, shopping in the Scottsdale mall, and playing golf. I would recommend Royal Palms Resort and Spa to any and all.
