Royal Palms Resort and Spa

Everything about this stay stood out. The resort's architecture, decorations, and fountains create a truly unique atmosphere. We were upgraded to a villa, which was a lovely surprise! The villa design strikes the perfect balance between antique charm and modern comfort. We also loved the pool and the rental bikes, which were in great condition. Breakfast offerings and service were satisfactory as well. What stood out the most was a attentive service. Hotel staff were always ready to help. When we asked the front desk if we could borrow a microwave, we expected to be pointed to a shared one. Instead, the staff went out of their way to bring both a microwave and a fridge directly to our room. We'd happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a resort that combines beautiful surroundings with genuinely attentive service.

We celebrated my fiance's birthday earlier in August here! We got a 50 minute couples massage, used the amazing amenities, and loved the Spanish vibes. Great idea for a summer staycation!

We had a truly wonderful experience during last weekend. The hotel is exceptionally well-maintained and spotlessly clean. One standout moment was seeing the Front Office staff Ms. Dilhani personally greeting and speaking with us a rare and impressive gesture that shows how much they care about guest satisfaction. Ms. Dilhani was so attentive checking throughout our stay with great attitude which makes our stay memorable. Also special thank you goes to GM Mr. Ravi’s leadership clearly shines through every aspect of the hotel. His dedication to excellence is reflected in his incredible team as each member of the staff was attentive, kind and always ready to help with a smile. The staff were friendly whom is Mr. Amara and Shashimahal so attentive, making our days very enjoyable during our visit to the restaurant. We stayed for three days starting with Dinner buffet, and the food was delicious with a wide variety of options. Our special thank you goes to F & B staff Mr. Kasun was outstanding welcoming and serving us with great attitude. Honestly, he is really a great resource and an asset to the Hotel. Also would like to thank Mr. Chandima (F & B) for all his support during our visit to the restaurant. Great experience from check in to check out! Hospitality of staff was outstanding we felt very welcome. Whereas our children loved mostly and enjoyed the beautiful moments of the pool. The facilities were equally impressive, especially the swimming pool, which was beautifully maintained and provided the perfect place to relax and unwind. What stood out most was how valued and cared for we felt throughout our stay. It wasn’t just service as it was genuine hospitality by the hotel staff. I would like to state that overall the Management has the right resource and the best of the best Team and asset to the Company and industry. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to visit soon again.

I had such a wonderful experience at the Royal Palms Resort and Spa. The property is absolutely stunning—beautifully maintained, peaceful, luxurious, and full of charm. But what truly made my stay exceptional was the staff. Everyone I encountered was incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. It’s rare to find a property that is this beautiful while still making you feel so at home. The hospitality was outstanding from beginning to end. I will absolutely be back and highly recommend the Royal Palms to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing getaway!

The property is beautifully designed, felt like I was at a Spanish resort. Alvadora spa attendant gave an excellent massage (forgot her name). Food from Cervantes was amazing (still dreaming about the ceviche!). However I would hesitate to recommend especially for the price. The TV signal was terrible, picture froze and was choppy. Unable to finish show episode. The power went out for 5 hours before we arrived per staff. Barely missed that. Clawfoot tub non functional despite maintenance attempt to repair it (at first tub feature would not work, then stopper at bottom was too loose so unable to fill with water). The room phone never worked so had to text front desk or google the main hotel # and press 0 to get assistance with any request. Maintenance also came by to fix however never mentioned anything about if they could fix it, they just disappeared. For the price, save your money as there are better hotels near by.
