I booked via Amex FHR. We were "upgraded" to a spa suite but they requested I pay an extra $200 per night for this "luxurious suite". The suite was a joke. The walls and floor were scratched and there were numerous paint chips and wood scratches throughout the room. The last straw was silverfish in the bed! The room was in dire need of maintenance and repair. The room should not have been rented in its current condition. I paid $800 for one night in this "luxurious suite." I was appalled and surprised that this hotel is part of the Amex FHR program!

Such an amazing weekend getaway, this resort is absolutely gorgeous. The fireplace is the little gardens for you to sit and read absolutely amazing. The pool with the cushions just gave it the pop. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the egg white frittata. You will not be disappointed one bit. The staff was amazing thank you

My husband and I wanted to explore Scottsdale and take a short trip for his birthday. We weren't sure what to expect but it turned out to be such a lovely, hacienda-luxury type feel to our stay. The staff was super friendly and the property, while maze like in a good way, was stunning with the flora and fauna. Several functions were happening that weekend but did not interfere with our plans; on the other hand we were able to admire how the facility handled the events and set them up. The pool was lovely and we visited the hot tub twice. The restaurant and bar were wonderful with excellent food and drinks. We would not hesitate to recommend Royal Palms as a destination.

This resort is a must see! The hotel property feels like it's been taken straight from a Tuscan villa in Italy. The grounds were immactulately kept, the rooms were perfect and the staff - they made us feel like the only guests there. We were able to walk by two weddings as well - and you could see that the attention to detail spans well beyond just a guest staying on-site. This hotel is truly a must see!

Overall, this is an elegant, relaxed hotel in a fantastic location. It is certainly on the pricey side, but the service is excellent—especially housekeeping—and the manager, Taylor, was very kind and helpful in finding us the perfect room. The atmosphere is calm, upscale, and unpretentious, and we especially enjoyed breakfast in the beautiful dining room, as well as morning soaks in the outdoor hot tub. As a runner, I also appreciated the great nearby routes (ask the front desk for a map). My only minor critique is that the property could benefit from a renovation or upgrade; while already nice, Hyatt could modernize it to fully bring out its elegance and add some expected conveniences—though that may come with higher room rates. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.

We booked the 4-night package on Luxury Link and it was well worth it. The package was an amazing value! My wife and I spent four days there and wish we could have spent a few more. The food at T. Cook's was the best I have had in a while. The menu also offered a local-products-only meal, which was terrific. The spa was very nice and we fully enjoyed each of our treatments. The rest of the time was spent laying by the pool, shopping in the Scottsdale mall, and playing golf. I would recommend Royal Palms Resort and Spa to any and all.
