A Seamless Desert Retreat

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

We brought our baby for a wedding at the property, and Royal Palms delivered an exceptional stay. Our Globalist status got us upgraded to a 1 King Bed Casita that was cozy, deeply comfortable, and equipped with ice-cold AC that effortlessly handled the Phoenix heat. The manicured grounds are gorgeous, and the thick plaster walls gave us total privacy and quiet for the baby. Breakfast at T. Cook's was fantastic, with the breakfast sandwich and fresh smoothies standing out as must-orders. What truly set the stay apart was the team: Natalie & Katia (Front Desk): Warm, quick, and welcoming check-in. Barbara: Gave us a wonderful room orientation and greeted us warmly every time we passed through the lobby. Wes & Driving Team: Went above and beyond by driving us outside their standard transport radius without hesitation. Concierge Team: Incredibly helpful and proactive throughout our stay. Between the service, atmosphere, and dining, this was a fantastic getaway for us.

Hyatt corporate taking away the beauty of the Royal Pamls

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

The place was a great and quiet escape from the hustle and grind. Everything was great except at the end. We booked with AMEX and was offered several things when booking with AMEX (free breakfast), early check in and late check out and possible upgrade. We did not take the upgrade as our room was nice, we did not check in early but did check out later, which was great. The free breakfast was ignored on the bill and we were charged fully both days. When we asked the resort, they stated we needed to contact Hyatt as they are now the parent company. After 6 different emails and calls, we were still denied what AMEX promised in our offer letter when booking. It isn't about the $150 in breakfast it is simply about he principal and honoring what was promised at the front desk at check in and on our booking sheet from AMEX. Great place, but the Hyatt brand took over and does not seem to care about the guests. Sad, beautiful place we will never stay at again.

Another Perfect Stay

My husband and I had another wonderful stay at the Royal Palms! Our room was comfortable, quiet and the perfect hideaway for a few days. The entire property is fun to explore. The staff are accommodating and friendly. The food in the bar and main restaurant is delicious.

Awesome experience and wonderful customer service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

My stay at the Royal Palms Resort was wonderful, and one of the things that really stood out was the exceptional level of customer service. Every interaction I had with the staff was warm and welcoming, but I especially wanted to recognize Kahtia for going above and beyond. She took the time to share the fascinating history of the resort, which gave me an even greater appreciation for such a unique property. She also escorted me to my room, made sure I had everything I needed, and when I realized I had forgotten my toothbrush and toothpaste, she quickly brought me replacements without making it feel like any trouble at all. What I appreciated most was that she genuinely cared about making my stay as enjoyable as possible. She even offered great recommendations for things to see and do around the area, which wasn't something she had to do but made my trip even better. Those personal touches are what set great hospitality apart from good hospitality. The Royal Palms is a beautiful property, but it's the people who make the experience memorable. If Kahtia is any indication of the standard of service at this resort, guests are in excellent hands. Thank you to the entire team for making my visit such an enjoyable one.

We booked the 4-night package on Luxury Link and it was well worth it. The package was an amazing value! My wife and I spent four days there and wish we could have spent a few more. The food at T. Cook's was the best I have had in a while. The menu also offered a local-products-only meal, which was terrific. The spa was very nice and we fully enjoyed each of our treatments. The rest of the time was spent laying by the pool, shopping in the Scottsdale mall, and playing golf. I would recommend Royal Palms Resort and Spa to any and all.
