Great, great hotel! Extraordinary service - if two tourist per say would borrow the bikes from the hotel and get caught in a thunderstorm, they will come and get you. Great food - we were truly surprised by the very high quality meat that was served, the daily specials are recommended. Great activities - from private MuayThai training with the extremely gifted Koko to rafting or night market in Phuket. Beautiful hotel - start every day with breakfast by the ocean and end it by watching the sunset over the open ocean with a cocktail in hand. Architecturally it was really cool, with many levels and oceanview from all of them. Great rooms. We stayed for 15 nights and it was perfection and awesome. Can't recommend this hotel more strongly. Sure, for being in Thailand it's a bit expensive, but for the quality we received its worth every penny. Come here, you won't regret it!

4 years ago here, my wife and I still dating as bf and gf. Though it was during renovation at the time, but Staff Team was very pleasant and illustrated me how 5-stars Service-minded were, Breakfast was superb and awesome, Aleenta Phuket Resort was our hidden gem and really one of the best resorts in Thailand. Now it is nearly our 2-years wedding anniversary, we had been trying to find a perfect weekend here again. We knew that Rosewood Phuket had just recently opened but we aimed to come back here at Aleenta Phuket. On Friday, Nov 10th, we flew from Bangkok and arrived Phuket at 4pm then drove from airport to the Hotel and arrived at around 5.30pm. Yes we were quite exhausted. As soon as we arrived, we walked upstairs to see the Front Office in order to check in. I was thinking to myself the Staff would ask and grant me if my wife and I would be tired? Needed Restroom? Smile at least? Hell, No! There were about 4 people sitting at the Front Office looking at me, no smile, no asking, then turned their faces into monitors! Only one of them asking me “Can I see your ID and Credit Card? Both of you please?” Then another lady in the team just walked and serve us the welcome drink robotically and walked away. That same lady continued “As I saw your booking, you have not booked any Breakfast with us here. Would you like to book now? It’s 800 Baht/person/day. You staying with us for 2 days. So it’s 3,200 Baht in total. Please sign it here and we’ll charge it when you check out!” Is this really 5-stars really? You don’t even care how tired we are? At least freaking give us time to breathe? Or a bit of time for restroom? Later, she tried to give us a tour for the Resort but she was very weak. She always walked and paused with no reason. Whatever the questions my wife and I asked her, she always gave us puzzled and with doubted facial expression, which to us was very rude! Her name is Miss Lek. So we finally went in our room preparing everything and get ready for our dinner. We came back to the Front Office. No, again! There were 3 Staff sitting and looked at me and then just continued with their work! No asking. No anything. So I said I needed my car for dinner. One of them just went up and walked out to get my car. At that time the Management Team I believe came out of Office and asking me if we needed anything. So I replied that we just waiting to get our car ready. That time when I looked at the Staff at Front Office, she gave me a big smile!?! To me this is really RUDE and FAKED! UNPROFESSIONAL and CHEAP! That Management team was walking down so I ran to one of them and told him about what’s going on. I believe his name is Daniel. I feel I had enough for that day so my wife and I went out for dinner expecting there’d be some changes or improvements. When we were back, we did not feel any changes that much so we tried not to spend time that much at the Hotel and waited to check out on Sunday, Nov 12th. Frankly speaking, if I knew our hidden gem is going to be like this, I would never ever spend even a damn 1 Baht here at Aleenta Phuket. Property has been worn out but that was not the case that much, comparing to Worst Of the Worst Staff and Low IQ and EQ in Service Mind. Staff here are not 5-stars at all and very UNPROFESSIONAL! It is hard to find a place to be your hidden gem BUT IT IS HARDER TO MAKE IT A NASTY ONE WHEN YOU THINK YOUR HIDDEN GEM IS A PARADISE!

What a truly memorable honeymoon destination made whole heartedly better by the amazing staff lead expertly and efficiently by Michaela Priesner. The level of care was second to none, the accommodation was a total indulgent joy and the weather did not disappoint. We left a little bit of our heart in Thailand and will definitely be back.

We stayed here for four nights in a grand deluxe villa. It was great to have your own pool and be able to open your patio door and dangle your feet into the water. The main hotel infinity pool and sun beds beside it are very elegant. The pool is a good size for swimming and the beds are king size and nice to use to relax and read by the pool. There are two restaurants and a spa that charges more than London prices (£35 for a regular polish manicure). It lacks any bar, or pool side changing area and has few shaded relaxation areas; which you typically get in luxury beach resorts. The beach is a long white stretch and pretty much deserted. If you want to do more than relax there isn’t really much at all in the area to see or do. We cycled 5K to the next town to use the ATM and it was tiny with nothing to do, although the countryside was nice to cycle through. We booked a half day tour with Sanyan tours and got them to pick us up from the hotel to see James Bond island and part of the national parks by boat. The cost was less than half the price of the hotel tour. Co-sea restaurant (1km down the road) serves great food at a quarter of the price and helps if you get cabin fever from being in the resort. We asked our taxi driver from the airport to give us his number and arranged with him to drive us back to the airport. Service is good, but like other Thai hotels lacks a little polish.

My experience at Aleenta was nothing but amazing. Clean and comfortable villa. Delicious food at their restaurants and amazing services by their staffs. Had one of the best b'day celebration in Aleenta. Compliments to all Aleenta staffs for celebrating with me and making sure we had such a fabulous time there. Will definitely be back!
