Aleenta Resort & Spa Phuket

We have just had 8 days at the Aleenta resort. This a five star hotel in a quiet area with one of the nicest beaches and sunset views at cocktail hour I have enjoyed. We had a grand deluxe club villa which came with private pool, a butler, free soft drinks in the fridge, complimentary afternoon tea and a free cocktail hour 5pm to 6pm. Our butler (Anna) could not be more helpful and gave great information and regular contact via our WhatsApp group. I will post some photos to give you an idea of the room and breakfast. There was some nice touches such as a sound bar in the room to blue tooth music and a Nescafé coffee machine. Taxi rank outside took us to local restaurants and a meal at the Edge was lovely as well. All staff are friendly and show great customer service. This is the opposite of Phuket night life so we loved it. It if you have a busy schedule and maybe want a few days relaxing before your journey home this would seem a good option. Only 30 minutes to the airport and great for peaceful relaxing.

Exceptionally amazing place. For those who want peace and simply to rejuvenate, this is your spot. Cant wait to be back.

Location Quite a long taxi ride from bars restaurants or life. Atmosphere Staff good. Beach good Resort not so good. Rooms Ok but not five star. Three star at best. Public areas very dirty and tired. In desperate need of renovation. Be warned do not make the same mistake I did! Value Better five star resorts/options at lower cost in better areas. Not recommended at this cost! Do not believe the videos and photos on line, these are from when it was new years ago.

We stayed in the Signature pool villa. The room was excellent. Plenty of space and the pool was a good size and very private. The outdoor area was very comfortable. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful and the beach was nice although not suitable for swimming as it was too rough. There are no shops near the resort so that was the only down side as there was nothing outside of the resort. Overall lovely resort, good food at The Edge Restaurant and good service. Would highly recommend especially the Signature Pool Villa.
