If you're looking for a place to refresh your mind from the urban life, here's the place for you. Located in a quiet neighbourhood on the north of Phuket, you can enjoy a stunning view of the ocean, a quiet beach & some sunshine with a reasonable price tag. The room was very comfortable, we stayed in the ocean loft, with a shared pool but a private balcony. The beach was just close by & the restaurants were located nearby the beach. The only downside was that it's nowhere near any attractions in Phuket, however, they do organise different activities every day. More importantly, the quietness is priceless! Staff were friendly & approachable, I could tell that they love their job as providing professional service.

Outside of busy Phuket which is what we wanted. Stayed a week for Xmas on full board. Grand Deluxe Pool Villas - the ones across the street which really isn't any issue. Villas are newish, very well presented, furnished and maintained. Great space and totally private with decent sized private pool. I viewed the beachfront villas and pool villas in main resort whilst passing and I actually preferred the Grand deluxe as newer and in better condition and more private. Full board was a good choice and value for money. Food of a great standard. There is a different set menu for full board but staff allowed us to choose from full menu in both restaurants every night with one item exception a wagu beef or lobster dish which wasn't a problem. Nice touch and good customer service. Restaurant manager (lady cant remember name) is lovely. Main infinity pool nice if on small size but most villas have their own pools anyway. Breakfast lunch and dinner all great in both restaurants. Beach is beautiful especially during the Northern European winter months when calm, clear water and lovely white sand that goes on forever. Virtually a private beach. Service at the beach could be a bit better, beach towel station unmanned often and tatty. Towels not cleared away frequently enough when guests leave which leaves the place looking messy and untidy. Management should address. All staff lovely and accomodating. Family friendly with plenty of kids so bear this in mind for the solo/couples only travellers...this could be just at Xmas but... Overall a really lovely stay in a great resort in the middle off nowhere. Quiet and relaxing. Sister resort up the road a few miles for a change in scenery and different more relaxed /younger vibe. Thank you Steve and Cos.

Aleenta is set on one of the most beautiful beaches in Phuket. My family and I have visited Phuket over 10 times and this beach was hands down our favorite. Calm waves, super fine soft sand, and PERFECT view of the sunset everyday. The rooms were very clean and the service all around the resort was phenomenal.

We loved this resort because it was quiet, peaceful, beautiful and the service was excellent. The rooms were gorgeous (we had a one bedroom loft with a shared front pool). The beach empty and clean. Staff and restaurants fabulous. Phuket is a dirty, busy, unattractive city, and we were looking for a getaway beach resort and we found it at the Aleenta. It is not for people who want to go, go, go into town, where the action is, etc. Our son and his friend did take cabs into more touristy areas at night and they did fine and enjoyed themselves and we also made a boat day trip to the many islands but what's best about the Aleenta is being at the Aleenta.

The hotel is located on a stunning, 2.5 mile beach. The other properties on the beach are either high end villas or boutique hotels like Aleenta so it’s extremely peaceful - the loudest noise was the crashing waves which on some days were enormous and great fun. Very comfortable sun loungers, large bean bags, plenty of umbrellas on the beach. Complimentary water was constantly brought around by the beach staff and lunch/snacks available throughout the day to order. The main pool is approximately 20m long and 1.5m deep so ideal for ‘proper’ swimming if you want. It has large, double sun beds sets in the water poolside which were extremely comfortable. The pool is next to the Edge restaurant and the beach. The hotel is about 30 minutes north of the airport and is in a secluded area so if you’re after night life, lots of restaurants, water sports then this isn’t the resort for you! We stayed in a 2 bedroom pool residence which are located in a row behind the beach front villas. We were in a unit on the first floor so sea views and sunshine into our pool were fairly limited however we spent all our time on the beach. Unit was large, comfortable and well equipped - only minor quibble was total lack of drawers in the master bedroom however there was hanging space. BreKfast is served at the Edge restaurant. Quality and service were excellent. We ate lunch on the beach from the Edge lunch menu and again the sandwiches etc. were very good. For dinner the 2 options are Natai (Thai) or The Edge - both were excellent. We had room service a couple of times and it was very efficient - the staff came ahead to lay the table etc.. In the evenings the restaurants had citronella insect repellent available which was very effective. On our final night we booked the beach BBQ as we were celebrating a birthday in the family - expensive (£100/per head) however delicious and beautifully cooked. The menu was adapted for us due to nut allergies as well. The menus are coded for nut allergies however some aren’t always accurate so always double check before ordering. On one night Natai recoooked and modified a dish for us as the original was served with nuts, fortunately the nuts were obvious! We didn’t use the Gym or Spa however the gym and studio were very well equipped, air conditioned etc. There is a high end boutique shop on site with swimwear, sun tan lotion and local gifts etc. We booked 2 excursions - one to the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary which has opened in the last 12 months. Highly recommend as the ethical way to see elephants in Phuket - it’s a sanctuary for injured/mistreated elephants. The hotel booked the trip although I had to specifically request this tour. We booked a private boat trip via V-Marine whom were excellent - significantly cheaper than options offered by the concierge. Excellent stay overall. Minor quibbles in despite having a nut and coconut allergy noted on arrival the information was not passed to anyone - I would have expected the information to be recorded so every time we had a dining reservation the staff would be aware; this was not the case so I’m not sure why on check in the hotel ask for allergy information!! A couple of nights our bathrooms towels hadn’t been replaced so we just used beach towels - I’m sure if we’d called to front desk, we’d have had new towels immediately.
