Reviews for Aleenta Resort & Spa Phuket
My Boyfriend and I stayed at the Grand Deluxe Pool Villa for 3D2N and we have both decided that this is the best place we have ever stayed at. Staff was really well trained and so welcoming when we arrived at Aleenta. We have no problem communicating as they speak good English. The room is very spacious and clean. We loved how the pool is directly outside the bedroom and we could just jump right in. Breakfast was good, but could have more varieties. Natai Beach is right beside the restaurant. There is a mini mart about 100m away where you can find basic food, beverages and necessities there. We will definitely be back again soon! Thank you, Aleenta Phuket.

First came here about 10 years ago when it was first built. Spent a couple of nights here on this trip as I was looking for a quiet, secluded place to relax and this place fits the bill. It's getting a bit old, but still quite charming nevertheless. The Good Stuffs: - Very pretty beach that you can walk on for miles and with very few people on them. - 1 bedroom residence was very spacious with enough space to host a small party as well as a kitchen - 1 bedroom residence has nice view (except for that one tall coconut tree blocking the view of the sunset from the pool) - Reception staff and bellboy was helpful The Not-So-Good Stuffs: - Hotel has some quirky designs to it. For instance, parking layout was weird, if I hadn't been here before, I wouldn't know what to do as there was no one on the ground floor when I pulled in and no clear sign of where to park - temporarily or otherwise. Fumbled around for a bit trying to figure out where to park as the guard was too busy on the phone to notice - No elevator to/near reception area and not exactly friendly to elderly and handicapped traveler. - Grand Deluxe Pool Villa looks better in the picture than in real life - that nice modern Jacuzzi by the pool and outdoor dinner table seemed to have disappeared - The wooden frog thinggy isn't practical for use as a 'do not disturb sign' whereas a simple electronic switch or wooden slider on the door would have been much more practical - Bedroom in the 1-bedroom is so dimly lit, I had to use flashlight from my phone to do my night-time reading (I get it that dimly lit yellow light was supposed to be romantic, but seriously...) - Broken door handles; guest powder room's toilet took forever too fill up after flush; not trashcan and floor mats; ceramic amenities bottles are just waiting to get itself broken and turning into an accident hazard - Hot/cold water wasn't marked clearly on the tub/shower; water took a while to heat up; the villa has no adjustable shower handle, while the residence only got rain shower - Breakfast selections were rather limited and didn't taste that good - Small gym The Stuffs worth Noting: - Unless you really enjoyed the seclusion and peace away from people, you probably SHOULD get a car, it's just so away from businesses and restaurants - It's actually in Phang Nga, not Phuket - Grand Deluxe Villas are built on another property on the other side of the street - Pools in the villa and residence are not heated - Yes, the beach is amazing, but it used to be even more amazing years ago for some unknown reasons...

We stayed for 11 nights at Aleenta in Sept 2017, and were not disappointed! Every single staff member was polite, gracious, and accommodating. Our grand deluxe villa was extremely clean and tidy, exactly like the promotional pictures, and included complimentary fruit selection daily. It seemed very private so you could relax by the pool in comfort, and we rarely heard any of our neighbours. We had 3 visits to the Aleenta Spa for a series of professional massages/scrubs/facials. The Spa itself was spacious and calm, incorporating water pools and soothing music - a perfect way to ease into the holiday! The two restaurants that we ate at did not disappoint either, and had a broad range of cuisines to suit all requirements. I would recommend including the breakfast into your package, which had a vast array of fresh local produce, cooked meals, and french pastries - as well as more exotic (by Australian standards) fair such as a congee station, and steamed asian savouries. We mostly ate at The Edge for lunch, in the immaculate dining room with attentive staff, and The Natai (Thai restaurant) at night. I have nothing best positivie things to say of both - and definitely suggest working your way through the curries on offer (ask for Thai-style if you like it less sweet and with more heat), which are thick and unctuous. There are also nightly specials that showcase a dazzling array of dipping sauces, reflecting the diverse nationalities of staff - delicious! The Edge restaurant included a European selection of food - and it all tastes as good as it looks on the plate! I recommend trying the cooking course, which includes a trip to the local market where I spent the whole time asking the accompanying chef what everything was. One of the lovely restaurant staff wrote a note to help us locate banana fritters and thai coffee stalls, again delicious - and another example of Aleenta staff going out of their way to help us get the most of our stay. We came away with recipes and heaps of tips from the Chef about how to get the most out of our Thai ingredients back home - in fact, the Executive Chef Valerio even found time to chat to us about his delicious menus! So.....cocktails. Let's just say we made our way through the menu multiple times over - some stunners in there, including the Aleenta Mojito which is made with butterfly pea tea - a brilliant blue colour that turns purple/pink on addition with acid. Happy hour is for two hours - so you can get very happy haha. And the pool attendant was a friendly and engaging guy - happy to share many interesting stories! He also had hawkeyes when resort guests went into the sea, making sure that people were ok in the post-storm seas. There were plenty of activities on offer hosted by friendly staff, but we declined these in favour of completely chilling out - we were having a relaxing holiday not an exploring holiday, and Aleenta was the perfect place for us to do that. I would definitely return again!

pretty much low prices due to poor location But it became a good thing for us because my child is young. Breakfast is available for both order food and buffet. most staff are kind, facility is also magnificent. especially the man who name of TINA, he always smile and good care of the visitors. I liked the connection between the sea and the resort and felt secure. there is two things that i feel little bad, hot water run out of the bathroom. and last day i asked for 2 hours over time, they answered that they were never allowed. my 3 years child had a little fever, feel not good so i begged but their answer is still 'no'. I know you have next guest, but check out is noon, check in is 3 p.m and It takes about an hour to clean the room. Where is the flexibility to clean up the other room first? except that two thing, aleenta was excellent. you remember, there is no other place around the resort. if you don't mind that thing, aleenta will be provides you perfect vacation.
Very nice staff nice resort and sea facing peaceful experience. Nice breakfast buffet. Connectivity is a issue as the place is far from everything. Airport is one hour away. Best suited for people looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay.
