We went for wellness program mainly and dr harshana valand is a great wellness coach, but at the same time the resort itself is amazing and great view. The rooms need a better isolation like double layer glasses to save the energy and keep the rooms specially villas cool

Food was very tasty and the steak was the softest and most flavourful i’ve ever had. Special thankyou to K.Sun for being our host for the evening and setting up our table/design. Well worth the price would happily try again 👍🏽 thank you for everything

Excellent overall resort for relaxation and recharging batteries. I stayed at Amatara for a week. I usually travel from U.S to South and South East Asia every couple of months for business as I have a software company. I believe I have found the right place to beat jet lag and recover and afterwards onwards to other countries for meetings. All restaurants offer very delicious cuisine and varied menus. Staff is very caring and attentive and always smiling and polite. Rooms are very clean and extremely well kept. Spa is excellent had few massages and so is the gym. I have stayed at various resorts around the world Amatara is one of the top and highly recommended for discerning traveler. I stayed in the sea view room had excellent views of the ocean. Check in staff , front office staff and manager were very friendly, warm and accommodating. Looking foraed to my next visit in August 2024.

Excellent quiet hotel in a beautiful setting. The staff were very courteous and attentative. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. The swimming pool was delightful and there was also a private beach. Would definitely stay again and will recommend to family and friends

Amazing hotel, staff are friendly and helpful and everything was just spectacular. Would recommend anyone wanting to go to a relaxing and luxurious hotel as a couple to go here. It’s lovely and quiet so you can escape the chaos of the city which is nice.
