Anantara Phuket Villas in Phuket, Thailand

Phuket may be one of the world’s premier beach destinations, but staying at Anantara Phuket Villas is like having a private slice of the island. On a well-manicured section of Mai Khao Beach, each self-sustaining villa unfolds into at least 600 square feet of living space. Tropical breezes flow through an open-air contemporary design highlighted by bamboo accents and Southern Thai exoticism. Most luscious is the aqua-tiled private pool just two strides from the bed.

Lounge on your sunny daybed with a plate of fresh mangosteen, papaya and dragon fruit. Cycle through coconut groves past the Sino-Portuguese mansions that line Phuket Town’s historic district, stopping to sample market treats and to marvel at ancient temples. Go for a boat ride to the Similan Islands to dive among well-preserved coral reefs in aquamarine waters. Dine on Thai fusion tapas in a restaurant suspended atop a Banyan tree before retiring with a bottle of wine from your villa’s private cellar.

Nice large en clean villa's with pool. Exceptional service level. Green resort with free bikes to explore the resort. Quality of La Sala very good ; Sea, salt and fire is too expensive for its quality. Nice small good & cheap restaurants in the neighbourhood. We will return !

Great experience. The best place to stay in Phuket. Incredible Villas. With all the amenities you can imagine . Nice food and ambience in restaurant ( australian meat highly recommended) . The only thing is not as brilliant as the rest is the breakfast, although the food is correct it doesnt have the variety you are looking for in this type of hotels .

Fantastic 8 night stay at Anantara Mai khao Villas. 1 bedroom was large and comfortable enough for 2 adults and 2 children. The staff are super friendly, food and drinks amazing. Unfortunately many times we could not find a sun bed as people claim them first thing and then come and go as they please. Loved our private pool which was a blessing when we couldn't find a spot by main pool. Nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the seedier parts of Phuket. Wish we could return tomorrow.

The thing that impressed me most was the unwavering friendliness and courtesy of staff. Our standard villa was spacious, stylish and practical. Our daughter loved the private pool and we spent most of our time at our villa. The beach is quiet and idylic. There are plenty of sights to see within easy reach by taxi. Including those within a short walk of the hotel there is a good selection of restaurants that cater well for families with young children. They do not provide typical Thai value-for-money though. Prices are consistent or in excess of what you'd pay in London for similar quality food. I'm sure there are delicious bargains to be had if you are prepared to travel a bit further and be more adventurous. The resort was nearly full but never felt crowded. There was a good selection at the breakfast buffet , and the chefs are on hand to cook eggs, pancakes, noodles etc to your taste. All in all a wonderul, relaxing stay

Our stay at the villa was one of our best holidays ever. The territory of the villas is beautiful, green and clean with a beautiful pond with lollies. I loved the fact that we could stay there without the need of going out if we choose too, there is even a boutique shopping precinct near the hotel, so you can have a quite private shopping. The service and food at the restaurants were great and diverse. We loved the friendly staff and extra attention. The room was lovely and was regularly serviced, the pool at the villa is amazing with plenty of space for relaxing around it. The tours we ordered via the hotel had been organised in the best manner, we could order private taxi as well.
