Phuket may be one of the world’s premier beach destinations, but staying at Anantara Phuket Villas is like having a private slice of the island. On a well-manicured section of Mai Khao Beach, each self-sustaining villa unfolds into at least 600 square feet of living space. Tropical breezes flow through an open-air contemporary design highlighted by bamboo accents and Southern Thai exoticism. Most luscious is the aqua-tiled private pool just two strides from the bed.

My stay at Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas was nothing short of extraordinary—easily one of the best luxury getaways I’ve ever had in Thailand! Every aspect exceeded my expectations, from the lush surroundings to the impeccable service, making it a trip I’ll cherish forever. The environment is absolutely world-class. Nestled amid acres of tropical greenery, the resort feels like a private rainforest sanctuary—think winding paths lined with banyan trees, lotus-dappled lagoons, and dense coconut groves . My villa was a serene oasis, surrounded by lush foliage that blocked out any distractions, and I fell asleep each night to the soothing symphony of birdcalls and gentle rustles of insects . Waking up to sunlight filtering through the leaves and the fresh scent of tropical blooms felt like stepping into a dream—pure bliss for anyone seeking peace and connection with nature. The service is truly second to none. Every single staff member I encountered greeted me with warm, genuine smiles and heartfelt “sawasdee ka”—their enthusiasm was contagious and instantly lifted my mood each morning . Whether it was the bellboys offering a golf cart ride across the grounds, the restaurant staff remembering my coffee preference, or housekeepers leaving little thoughtful touches in my villa, their attentiveness and sunny dispositions made me feel cherished and valued . This level of genuine Thai hospitality turned a great stay into an unforgettable one. Breakfast was an absolute highlight—exquisite and endlessly exciting! What thrilled me most was the daily rotating theme of Thai noodles and rice noodles—one day it was spicy tom yum noodles bursting with aromatic herbs, the next creamy coconut curry rice noodles, and even authentic pad thai made to order . Beyond the incredible noodle station, the buffet was astonishingly diverse: fresh local seafood, seasonal fruits, artisanal pastries, and international dishes, all prepared with the finest ingredients . I found myself looking forward to breakfast each night, eager to discover what delicious Thai specialty awaited me the next morning. Last but certainly not least, the SPA experience was unparalleled. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but it’s 100% worth every baht—by far the best spa treatment I’ve had in multiple trips to Thailand . The spa’s serene setting, with open-air treatment rooms surrounded by greenery, set the tone for pure relaxation . A huge shoutout to my massage therapist, Katty—her skills are exceptional! Her techniques were a perfect blend of traditional Thai pressure and gentle stretching, tailored exactly to my preferences, and she used aromatic local oils that left my skin glowing and my muscles completely relaxed . The entire experience was holistic, rejuvenating, and truly indulgent—an absolute must-do for anyone staying here. Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas isn’t just a hotel; it’s a destination that nourishes the mind, body, and soul. From the rainforest-like tranquility to the warm, attentive service, the exciting breakfasts, and the world-class spa, every detail is crafted to perfection. I can’t recommend it enough—whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or with loved ones, this resort promises a luxury experience you’ll never forget. I’m already counting down the days to my return!

Our stay was only four nights and unfortunately it rained much of the time which understandably spoilt things somewhat. The staff are excellent. We stayed on a room and breakfast basis and the breakfast is excellent. Eating in the hotel restaurants is expensive, typically with wine £80 per head

We had a truly wonderful vacation in Thailand and will definitely come back again. We stayed in a pool villa and could go swimming anytime. We only had one short rain shower, but it didn’t affect our stay at all. A special thank you to Sunny, our favorite hotel staff member, who fulfilled every wish we had. Highly recommended!

Most amazing stay! Facilities, staff, food - all just great ! We stayed at the lagoon villa, which offers lots of privacy and a very calm surrounding, highly recommended to fully recharge! Spa treatments were the best. Be careful with the breakfast, one of the best we have ever seen in a hotel - little food coma guaranteed!
