Memorable stay at Anantara Mai Kao
Anantara Mai Kao is a beautiful villa property and we really enjoyed our family holiday in the 2 BR Pool Villa. Lavish spread of breakfast and excellent facilities. Best place in Phuket . Specially appreciated the service of BALE who helped us with luggage transfer both at time of check in and check out . Each and every staff was so courteous that it made our stay memorable.

Disappointing Full Board Experience at a 5-Star Resort
We stayed at Anantara Vacation Club Mai Khao Phuket on a full-board package, but the food offering was very disappointing. The full-board menu is extremely limited and noticeably different from the regular à la carte menu offered to other guests. The dishes available under the package are much simpler and of significantly lower quality, with very few choices. What was especially disappointing is that, despite having already paid for the meals, there was no option to choose from the regular menu with a reasonable additional charge. Many other highly rated five-star hotels offer this flexibility, but here no alternative was provided. The location is also not very convenient: the hotel is far from the sea and does not have its own private beach. Service was generally polite, but somewhat slow. Overall, the hotel has potential, but the full-board dining experience needs major improvement.
