One of our best holiday stays. We have had a great time at the accomodation. The services are nothing but luxury. Great spread of varieties in the buffet breakast menu. Staff are lovely and very helpful.

From the moment we arrived, everything about this resort was exceptional. The staff were warm, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered stunning views — the perfect place to unwind. The pool and surrounding areas were pristine and peaceful, and the food at the on-site restaurants was delicious with great variety. Whether we wanted to relax by the beach or explore local attractions, the resort made it all easy and enjoyable. Truly a slice of paradise — we’ll definitely be coming back!

We recently stayed at this resort and had a mixed experience. While there are definite highlights for families with younger children, the overall offering falls short when it comes to food, recreation, and amenities for teens and adults. ⭐️ Pros: • Fantastic Kids Club: The kids club was a standout feature. The staff are well-trained, warm, and highly engaging. Our younger child had a wonderful time. • Spacious Family Suite: We stayed in a family suite/apartment, which was large and included a kitchen, washing machine, and dryer — very convenient for a longer stay. • Good Yoga and Movie Nights: The daily yoga sessions were relaxing, and the movie nights in the pool were a fun touch for families. • Reliable Buggy Service & Free Bike Hire: The buggy transport to the beach and Turtle Village was efficient and always available. We also appreciated the complimentary bike hire — we rode to a great local restaurant in just five minutes. • Beachside Massages: With no spa onsite, the massages on the beach (500 baht for an hour oil massage) were a great and affordable alternative. • Some Good Thai Dishes: The Thai food on the à la carte menu was enjoyable on select nights. ⚠️ Cons: • Poor Food and Beverage Options: There’s only one restaurant, and the buffet is average at best. Breakfast options are low quality — dumplings and buns were particularly poor. • Lack of Dining Ambience: There is no proper bar or upscale dining area to enjoy an evening drink or dress up for. We often went across the road to the JW Marriott, which had a far more refined atmosphere and better dining options. • Terrible Pool Bar Menu: The pool bar menu is extremely limited — no spring rolls, and fries cost a staggering $14 AUD. Cocktails were dated and poorly mixed, with a happy hour that starts too late (5pm). • Teen Activities Are Non-existent: Despite having a “teen club,” it was always empty and lacked structure. It would be more useful as a family recreation room. No board games, air hockey, or common family entertainment areas like other Thai resorts. • No Onsite Spa: This was disappointing, especially compared to nearby resorts like Anantara Phuket Villas, which shares the same grounds but offers a much more refined and adult-friendly experience. • Not Ideal for Teens or Adults: Overall, the resort is best suited for families with younger kids. Teens will likely be bored, and adults may be disappointed by the limited food, drink, and relaxation options. Summary This resort caters predominantly to families from Dubai, China, Eastern Europe, and Thailand. While it’s great for younger children, we wouldn’t return due to the lack of teen-friendly facilities, poor food and beverage options, and absence of a spa. If you’re looking for a more polished experience, consider the neighbouring JW Marriott or Anantara Villas instead.

Very Friendly, great customer service, property is huge, value for money. Very clean & family friendly. We always choose Annatara resorts for our family holidays for all these reasons. They also cater for vegetarians and very accomodating.
