The Pavilions Phuket

This is a very poorly managed hotel The staff is trained rude and misbehaved. We checked in and at night time when we came back f the air conditioner was not working . The staff came at night and checked it. Could not repair and the night manager told me no room is available. He said he would change to higher category but after 1 hr and early morning you have yo come back. We did not accept so had to spend the night without AC after paying 400 usd for suite room The next day it was repaired but again the AC was automatically set to 16c. No point talking to them . Their standard answer for everything is NO. Even a request for towel takes more than 30 minutes. It is done so guest don't ask for it. The breakfast was very bad. My brother requested for extra bed. First night they put it and told they don't have staff to put for second night He ended up sleeping on sofa They started badgering me for checkout one day before What time will you check out etc. Imagine next day a hotel staff banging door and then entered the room when I was in wash room. On opening the bathroom a staff was standing asking when will you do checkout . It was 9.30 am. Location is very bad and middle of nowhere . Staff is good at intimating and comes promptly on checkout. Tried to talk to general manager. First he was out of property and after 1 day his father passed away and he was not available. You could easily understand by the tone of the duty staff that it was a lie Destroyed our holiday experience in phuket.

Amazing resort so calm and relaxing. Everyone was friendly and from check in to check out everything was seamless. 100% recommend the 360 bar every night

This is a beautiful hotel surrounded by lush gardens and amazing scenery. The staff were constantly ready to help with endless smiles, from front of house, restaurant and buggy drivers. Not too stuffy, with a very relaxed vibe. This was our second visit and we never return to the same place twice! So pleased we made an exception to our rule this time.

Stayed 5 nights. 3 nights in a 2 bedroom pool villa (there were 3 of us) This was great. Rooms are huge and having the private pool was handy. I used it way more than I thought I would. Early morning swim, after you come back from an outing. The bathroom area is a little dark but I didn’t mind it. The second bedroom has its own coutyard and door so is very private too. Perfect for slightly older children or adults. Has its own bathroom. Moved to a garden villa for the next 2 nights for just 2 of us. Still very large with 2 bathrooms for the 2 of us! It’s hard to compare to a pool villa though - would definitely recommend the pool villa! As noted, there is a lot of construction around the resort and in Bang Tao. As we were not ocean facing this did not affect us at all. I read reviews that this is in the middle of nowhere. That was part of the appeal in some way, it feels like a real resort. I used the shuttle to the beach and boat avenue a couple of times or just got a car/ motor bike using bolt. It’s 10 mins there. Shuttles only go three times a day at 11,1 and 3. The beach is very long and beautiful. They have a fire show at Smigos at sunset every night. The resort is hilly but they do have buggies that can pick you up and take you around the resort. They are usually very quick to arrive and we never had any problems. Staff are all very lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay
