Moved by the raw beauty of the landscape, husband and wife team Gordon and Daniele Oldham built The Pavilions, Phuket with the intention of creating the ultimate environment for couples who want privacy in Asia’s most popular beach destination. Stylish Zen-inspired interiors in bold shades of black, white and red evoke romance, softened by indigenous fabrics and local art. A 40-foot private infinity pool is big enough for laps, but ideal for an intimate sunrise champagne toast.

Beautiful hotel/resort. The entrance gates open and you see a long driveway with pretty lights leading up to a Buddha. The welcome is really relaxing. The resort is well run, clean and feels luxurious. The staff go well beyond what you would expect and at all times are attentive and welcoming. We ate at the hotel every night (there 4 nights) and the food was very good. One night we had room service. The rooms are huge compared to European standards and the en-suite bathrooms are amazing and include an enormous bath. The staff bring a golf buggy to take you around the resort. Breakfast is good and served by the pool. The only downside is that the hotel is quite remote and there is a lot of construction work going on. You don’t really hear it but in a few years there will be many hotels nearby. Phuket town is a long taxi ride.

Stayed in this resort recently. We were impressed by the resort entrance the moment we arrived. Greeted with welcome drinks and a 5 star service by the staffs. Khun Ja-Aey and Khun Meow stood out most with their services. They are so friendly and always ready to help. Also Khun Nueng who drives us from point to point in the resort. Overall is an unforgettable experience and we are planning to return soon.

My wife and I stayed for four nights to wind down and it was the perfect place for that. Beautiful resort with a nice spa, a basic gym, a good pool area and three excellent restaurants. Fantastic restaurant and superfriendly service by all staff. The only minus is that the hotel is located a bit off and if you want to go for a walk outside the gates there’s not much to see and also a lot of construction work going on.

We checked out today after a 10 day stay at The Pavilions. I have to admit I was skeptical because of the price I paid, however every moment of the stay from start to finish was exceptional! What stood out for me was the kind hospitality from every staff member, they genuinely could not do enough for you. At reception, breakfast and when driving you around the hotel in the buggy. I originally booked the tropical view suite, which was very impressive, massive lounge, kitchen area, bedroom and two bathrooms! I then upgraded half way through our trip to the spa and pool villa which was out of this world. It is completely understated luxury and such a relaxing, peaceful location. Some people have mentioned the location is not ideal, but we went down to Bang Tao Beach and Thalang today pretty much every day at some point and it took about 15 mins via taxi unless there was traffic/rush hour times. Taxi’s are very cheap on the Grab app and we never had any problems. The quality of the food at breakfast, in Firefly Restaurant, Alto and 360 bar was excellent. The breakfast selection rivals some of the bigger chain 5 star hotels I have stayed at before and the Thai food in Firefly was delicious! Cocktails, beers and wine selections were great too. Could not recommend this hotel more and I would 100% return again.
