After having been traveling for almost a month it was nice to relax for a few days. The resort is amazing with an absolutely beautiful beach and pool. Setting on the hill with individual bungalows is fabulous. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. They go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The food was excellent. I would go back 100%.

We spent 5 nights in a superior cottage - and overall we had a wonderful experience. The hotel is a little remote from other establishments so for 4 (of 5 nights) we took dinner in the hotel- which was fine with a choice of restaurants. For one night; one of the restaurants was ‘closed for a wedding for the entire day’ - which always makes me feel the hotel management priorities are maximising revenue rather than guest experience. The hotel premises and our cottage was well maintained and kept really clean - with the staff eager to help and please. The hotel is though almost an hour taxi ride to Phuket Centre - certainly not walkable and, indeed, cannot really be said (from a tourism perspective) to be in Phuket. As noted in literature and reviews - you definitely climb a lot of steps to access beach or reception. It is about 100 steps DOWN to beach and about 30 steps UP to reception and breakfast. We are early 70’s and managed it easily but it would be near impossible for anyone on sticks or walking frame. If you can manage the steps it is easy to recommend or return

Beautiful hotel with a private beach, overlooking the Andaman Sea. An idyllic location for our last 7 nights in Thailand. We had a spacious deluxe cottage with a commanding view of the sea. The resort is spread across the hillside above the beach and if you enjoy steps, this is the hotel for you. You can't move around the hotel, without going up steps, down steps, up steps, down and up again. It's a workout without having to visit the gym, which is well equipped......although by the time you've arrived at the gym, you've already done half a workout. I'm highlighting this as the resort is popular with couples of all ages and families. There are no lifts, so if you're going to struggle with stairs (think older individuals or young families struggling with prams) then do consider this might present challenges. There are buggies available for short journeys around the hotel, but the routes are limited. Whilst the hotel is an oasis of calm, it's just a short walk (or buggy ride) to the surrounding area, which offers a selection of restaurants, massage establishments and shops. This gives some addiitonal options if you don't want to spent all your time in the hotel. Life in the hotel centres around the excellent pool and panoramic beach, There are plenty of loungers and the staff are on hand to provide beach towels and assistance with umbrellas. The rooms are very spacious and well appointed, with comfortable beds. The waves breaking on the beach sound rather violent and were not conducive to restful sleep. The amenities in the room are excellent - robes, slippers, toiletries, aftersun lotion, elegant hats, umbrellas. Some very thoughtful additions and great attention to detail. The 'bedtime biscuits' were a nice touch each evening with the turndown service. The food is a highlight of the hotel. The Beach Restaurant offers some exceptional dining and if you love asian and Thai food, then you're in for as treat. Flavoursome and plentiful . A foodies paradise. The Sunset Restaurant offers more relaxed 'poolside' dining and again the food is superb. Both offer wonderful views across the Andaman Sea Breakfast is served at Lomtalay Restaurant. Extensive selection of dishes buffet style, together with an egg station and an a la carte menu, providing even greater choice. The staff are exceptional and nothing was too much trouble - they made the stay even more memorable. A wonderful stay at a fantastic hotel.
