The Surin Phuket

This was the perfect holiday in the perfect hotel. Beautiful accommodation, incredible location and the most wonderful staff. Absolute perfection.

Absolutely everything about The Surin Phuket is excellent. The location, the rooms/cottages, the staff, the food/drinks, the beach, the pool, everything... it's all first class!

This is the third time we have stayed at The Surin in 5 years. It is a good as it has always been - service, beautiful Cottages perched on the side of the hill overlooking the private white sand beach all with panoramic sea veiws. All rooms overlook the sea and are separated well away from each for privacy. Rooms are very big with ample storage for a 2 week holiday. All rooms have a large private balcony with 2 sum loungers and own umbrella. Rooms supplied with ample unlimited bottles of complimentary water Aircon works perfectly (very powerful and cold) and has a permanent extraction system to prevent smells and condensation. We have never have an issue with sun loungers at the beach or pool. The beach is very close to the rooms - a little walk from all rooms down steps . directly to beach. It never feels crowded or that you need to wake up early to reserve a bed . This is one of the many reasons it is and feels like a Deluxe Luxury hotel. The breakfast spread is very good with an Asian counter that changes dishes every day so it is not repetitive . The two French managers Thomas and Andrew are still here from our last trip 3 years ago and we recognise many staff which is a great sign of a well run and company with low staff turnover. Always a reassuring sign of staff welfare and continuity. The managers are around all day, making sure that everything is run ship shape. No mosquitos! They fumigate weekly so we have not even needed to use mosquito repellent and it’s the rainy season which is normally the worst for mosquitos. I am normally bitten to death at some other hotels but not here. The beach is outstanding. It has white fine sand and as it’s sort of in a cove, there are no stones, seaweed and twigs. there is literally not one piece of seaweed - just pure clean fine sand. The beach is shallow until quite far out so it feels safe for swimmers. Pool is heated and warm. I won’t get into most pools but this is heated to a very warm temperature that even I don’t mind getting in 😁 Best 5 * boutique hotel in Phuket in Surin Beach

The Surin is an independent hotel that works hard to anticipate and satisfy guest demands. Good for quiet quality time with the family. Not a party hotel. The Surin has the best staff and beach of any hotel we have stayed in Phuket and is our preferred hotel there.

Fantastic resort. We chose a superior cottage #321 and it was perfect for us. An easy walk to breakfast, an easy golf cart ride to the main gate. (A little bonus is room 321 has a short cut via golf cart) Resort is close enough to walk to shops and restaurants and we did a few times to get the feel of local life but most of the time we spent at the resort enjoying and relaxing. The 2IC Andrew made us welcome and the whole staff were so courteous and polite. Even though we never got to swim in the ocean (The red flags we out for the whole time we were there) the pool was perfect and because it was wet season we had it to ourselves most of the time.
