I had the pleasure of staying at The Surin Hotel on Phuket Island, and it truly exceeded all expectations. - 🏖 Location: The hotel sits on a secluded beach, which feels like your own private slice of paradise. It’s quiet, peaceful, and ideal for anyone wanting to escape the crowds. - 🏡 Accommodation: My bungalow directly on the beach was simply stunning. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves and waking up to sunrise over the ocean was magical. The design blends comfort with understated luxury, making it feel both cozy and indulgent. - 🍴 Dining: Breakfast and lunch were highlights of the stay, thanks to the wonderful management by Da Da. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with plenty of variety to suit every taste. - ✨ Overall: The accommodation was exceptional in every way. The staff were warm and attentive, ensuring every detail was taken care of. It’s rare to find a place that combines luxury, authenticity, and genuine hospitality so seamlessly. 🌟 Final Verdict If you’re looking for a tranquil, beachfront escape with outstanding service and unforgettable dining, The Surin Hotel is the perfect choice. I can’t wait to return.

Perfectly fabulous as always we have lost count the number of times we have returned to The Surin, even when it was The Chedi. Yes it has steps, I still used a walking stick gammy knee but I would climb down and up on my bottom if needs be. It is a wonderful place to vacation, the staff, the place, the beach and those wonderful sunsets cannot ask for more. The breakfast is perfection, the lunch at the beach bar wonderful the staff are attentive without being in your face. Yes we have noticed a few discrepancies from earlier visits but I’m sure it’s cost effective for them to do this. Cannot wait to return my only upset this time was the Andaman was too rough to snorkel but that’s not the Syrians fault that’s just life.

As a returning guest, I'm admittedly a bit biased, but on the other hand, you also become more discerning and sensitive to changes over time. For me, it's a true oasis of well-being. The facts: the beautiful and clean beach, the surrounding complex with its bungalows, harmoniously nestled among the palm trees and other vegetation—this also applies to the neighboring Amanpuri. The octagonal black pool (it does get a bit warmer, of course, but it looks fantastic) and, naturally, the expansive and unique architecture. The bungalows are beautiful and prepared with great care—the flowers, the fragrance, the little touches. Those are the purely rational facts. What's crucial for me is the atmosphere; the vibes emanating from this place are incredibly calming and uplifting. Of course, there are a few practical drawbacks: climbing stairs isn't for everyone – I appreciate it and lose a little weight every time I climb them during my stay. For those with limited mobility, a solution is found with caddies. Nevertheless, I wouldn't necessarily recommend this stay for people with disabilities. The service is, in my opinion, outstanding – although you probably won't always get it right. From my perspective, you get top-notch service for your money. For example: I crashed during my bike training. A first-aid kit and chair were already waiting for me at reception, and I received attentive medical care. Every day - thank you so much! The hotel is noticeably improving. Management is very committed to continuously improving The Surin. I had a Hill Bungalow with a beautiful view. Others might prefer something closer to the sea or the dining room. And yes: the food is excellent, in my opinion; breakfast under the high roof or on the newly developed terrace with parasols a highlight of the day. Those who wish can also regularly participate in yoga, the fitness center (with brand-new equipment), or take advantage of the wide range of water sports. I'm still dreaming about the beautiful sunsets, the Asian Mule drink , and the delicious Chinese soup for breakfast. Yes – you even get some Prosecco for breakfast if you like. I'm already looking forward to my next visit in May next year!

We returned to Phuket after a 25 year gap and now wonder what took us so long to go back! The Surin appealed with its individual cottage accommodation and private beach and while it is top end of the price range there is a reason for that. The breakfast buffet and a la carte menu offered a huge amount of choice , and we ate at the pool restaurant and Beach restaurant and both were excellent. We do enjoy eating locally too and would recommend the Audy and the Butterfly restaurants. Audy is a short stroll away and Butterfly a short taxi journey. Both were amazing value, the food delicious, and the ambience buzzing, with music at the Audy. So many reviews highlight the team at The Surin and they really are exceptional. The management team are visible but not intrusive and are very receptive to customer feedback. We appreciated the time Boris , the F& B Director and Andrew, the EAM took to chat with us during our stay and I must mention Da Da who always made us smile with her warmth and smiles at breakfast. There was a private party during our stay and the Beach restaurant was closed that evening. We were not affected by any noise and enjoyed the firework display from our accommodation. The steps were not an issue and is something clearly mentioned on the website. We enjoyed the gym which while small had all the equipment we needed , although a couple of mornings there were 8 others in there and it felt quite crowded. So in summary a fabulous week and probably one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We hope to return in a couple of years time.

This is a wonderful hotel with small cottages along the hillside at a fantastic private beach with crystal clear water. A little “old money style “vibe with perfect service and relaxed atmosphere. Good food and variety. Very attentive staff and overall an outstanding hotel.
