Reviews for Thavorn Beach Village & Spa
Me and my fiancé stayed for 4 nights in the hillside room and the resort is just amazing. All the staff are very accomodating and they always great you sawasdeeka with a smile and its a good thing to start your day. Although we had some problems in our room and some complaints, the lady in receptions named KIM solved our complaints, she's very accommodating and made sure that we'll be enjoying our stay. They also have private beach but its not good for swimming because it has a lot of rocks, but during the afternoon its a good view for sunset when its hightide. In there activity area they have rabbits, big turtles and birds. I've red some reviews that they have a baby elephant but we couldn't find it anywhere in the resort. All in all the resort is Great and I'll definitely come back with the whole family and i want miss KIM to assist us. Good job to all filipino staff in the resort. -Ladyexplorer April2017

It's our first time here in Thailand, and really enjoyed it. We stayed in the pool access and hill side we had a great view from our room. the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful especially Sai and Kim and all the filipinos. I was not expecting to have such a pleasant experienced but I did. Thanks a lot.
The resort is stunning as it has its own private beach and a huge pool you can enjoy On our first night we stayed in a mountain cottage with an amazing view over looking the sea and in a distance you can see the bright lights of Patong. The mountain cottage was slightly outdated. We then checked into our beach cottage which had a stunning view of the sea (please note not all have sea views) but the room was amazing and the bathrooms was huge as it's a semi outdoor bathroom so feels like you showering in nature. The beach cottages are newer in style and feel, they have an airy light feel to them, which just makes you feel relaxed. The resort has 2 restaurants of which is a Thai restaurant that does the most romantic dinner for you on the beach it's a must for all couples wanting that luxury romantic dinner. One of the days they had a power failure, however the management of the resort arranged a shuttle to take guests from the beach cottages (the part of the resort affected) through at intervals to their spa for a shower. A few hours later everything was back to normal. The staff are extremely friendly and the resort is stunning. Give this place a try it's really a worthwhile!

We went with our 7 year old son to this resort and had a fantastic time. The gardens are exquisite and compared with the tacky modern constructions all over Phuket, the combination of architecture and vegetation is very classy and respectful of the environment. The family has owned the land for generations and many of planting were done long ago-- you can spend hours looking at the trees, many of which have their own special personality! Our son also loved the rabbits and turtles. I would definitely echo what others have said -- the prices are outrageous for Thailand. We had a rental car and discovered wonderful restaurants and spas around the island and never ate once in the hotel or used the spa. Parking was free and we never had trouble finding a spot. The pool is fabulous and the room incredibly comfortable and quiet. My husband is very tall and picky about beds but had no problem with the beds. The pool is just deep enough for an adult to stand everywhere which made it very comfortable for swimming and exploring the whole pool with our son, who needs an adult next to him.

We have returned again for the 8th time (7 nights) and the resort in the past two years has undergone more improvements in the gardens & outdoor lighting & the Marissa restuarant where you can have breakfast lunch & dinner. We stayed in a one bedroom hillside villa acces by cable car and the views and room is amazing. Yes the food and alcohol are a little on the high side but the resort is trying to encourage guests to remain at the resort by offering more happy hours and discounts. The VIP room is a great but the snacks and beverages are only average. Friday night cocktails was a pleasant suprise. We just enjoy coming back each year as the resort is so private and away from busy Patong area most staff are very welcoming. Special mention to team members Team & Kim & Rum General Manager & other managers we met during our stay. Hoping to return again next year to see w hat other improvements have been made.
