Reviews for Thavorn Beach Village & Spa
We stayed in the 2 bedroom hillside ocean view suite. The balcony was absolutely enormous with stunning views. The suite had far more space than we needed but was a nice treat. We hardly used the living or dining areas as we were either enjoying the balcony or at the pool. The suites require taking a cable car up and down which is fun and is like using an elevator. The pool...this is by far the most beautiful pool I have ever been to. It meanders throughout the resort but also had larger areas. It was always easy to find a lounger by the pool. They also have animals which staff bring out every day. My daughter loved cuddling with the bunnies (also had a tortoise and parrots). The complimentary breakfast was a feast each day, complete with North American and Thai food options. There is a delicious pizza bar which is quite reasonable. There is a restaurant with tables on the beach where we ate every night. Delicious selection of sea food and traditional Thai food. Prices were reasonable ($30 Canadian/person) but wine is very expensive here ($60 for a cheap bottle). One of the evenings they had a buffet which was definitely worth going to. This was a fantastic place to stay, everything is beautiful and well maintained. The gardens are immaculate and filled with beautiful flowers. The feel of the resort is spa-like; quiet and very relaxing. We enjoyed our time but definitely had more fun on Phi Phi where it felt a little less formal.

Excellent service from all staff, very friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurants. We had the romantic beach dinner and can highly recommend it. We stayed in a beach front cottage, it had a great view and the room was a good size . The furniture is quite dated but we found with the beautiful location we were hardly in the room so it did not matter. The animals are a really nice touch , and the pool is amazing. Thank you very much
The best ever resort! Hills, garden, pool and a private beach.. All in one resort. Impressive cable car rides to hill view rooms. Rabbits, turtules, chicken were left free at garden to entertain kids. Lots of other fun activities. We had a fantastic candle light dinner by the beach. They helped organising our tickets to tours and shows. They provide free shuttle bus service to patong. It's like 10-15 min ride. The staffs were very polite and friendly. We would definitely recommend this resort! Totally enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again!

Stayed for 5 days at this resort and overall it was pretty good, the whole resort layout is wonderful. Stayed in pool view room with a nice view of the sea from the balcony and obviously big pool right below the room with decent height for kids. Lots of trees and plantation around rooms and the pathway all around. I would recommend pool access or pool view room if you are with kids or want to spend most of the time in the pool or at the resort private beach. these rooms are spacious with a good view and easy access to all places in the resort. Just one thing which you need to take care of are the insects during night time :) you will find a lot of them due to the tropical plantation. Everyday 1 hour during morning and evening kids can have fun with Turtle, parrots, and rabbits close to the beach, try feeding them and get their pictures clicked with them. it is awesome. One can spend the whole day at the pool. Service is good and fast. I got my room booked directly from the resort website to get free access to the VIP lounge but it is not worth anything. one can get free water, soda water, soft drink, sandwich, cookies, popcorn, muffins, cakes, and coffee out there but it is all from the breakfast menu. a couple of times I saw red ants on the cake so never went back there. Pool side crocodile bar is good to have got some great deal on pizza and drinks (happy hours). if you are sea food lover you will have lots of variety to taste. Another important aspect is the free shuttle to Patong multiple times a day but I would still recommend getting a car booked for yourself on rent from any of the vendors to be independent and have unlimited fun. Having your own car is a great way to enjoy the beaches other areas.

My wife and myself have just returned from spending 8 nights at Thavorn Village in late July. To say we were well impressed with the resort was an understatement. From the moment we checked in we were relaxed. The first impression were the gardens they were just fantastic and so well maintained not to mention the rabbits running around. We were in a Beach Front Cottage with a great view of the ocean and while they may be showing a little bit of age they were kept spotlessly clean. I understand they are being improved all the time. The variety and quality food was very satisfactory with good choices available. After a day out it was a pleasure to return to the calm of Thavorn Now for Thavorn's biggest selling point -- the ever attentive and genuinely caring staff . From WUT and TOH in the Crocodile Bar - NON / AEK and ALLEN in Marissa's al made our holiday a very pleasant experience. And to the forget PIM in the Old Siam. Apologies to all the other staff we missed you were all great. The all inclusive package all meals and drinks ) was great value for money Thanks also to Olis and Herve for listening. Thank for making our holiday great we will return. Ian ( John ) and Rae Jamieson Melbourne Australia August 2017
