Hidden away between trendy Kamala Beach and the pulsing nightlife and shopping of Patong Beach, sits Thavorn Beach Village & Spa. From its highly privileged perch, the property looks out across the Andaman Sea. Immaculately groomed grounds and tropical gardens fringed by the lush greenery fronting Nakalay Bay and the expanse of the pristine talcum-white stretch of sand exclusive to resort guests all set the tranquil tone for this luxe retreat. Sleeping quarters are located in a traditional Thai setting and take full advantage of their oceanfront location by boasting mesmerizing water views from private terraces and enormous picture windows. The bright sleek-lined pastel-colored décor is complemented by air conditioning, flat-screen televisions and WiFi access. The definite highlight of each room is the ultra-spacious marble-bedecked bathroom, which features semi-outdoor rain showers.

Really nice resort in Kamala. Lots of things to explore or do on site from a petting zoo to art classes and of course, the beautiful pool and beach. Staff was kind and accommodating. Breakfast: A+ If you book hillside, it can be a bit of hot walk to reach the cable car, but otherwise it’s very convenient!

If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars, I absolutely would ⭐️ We have just returned from what was truly the best holiday we have ever had at Thavorn Village Resort & Spa in Phuket, and we are already dreaming about going back. The hotel itself is simply stunning — the grounds are like something out of paradise, with lush tropical gardens everywhere you look. The huge lagoon-style pool winding through the resort is absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by jungle planting that makes you feel like you’re in your own private paradise. The food was incredible throughout our stay, with such a rich variety of Thai and international dishes that there was always something new (and delicious!) to try. Breakfast was a real highlight each morning — an enormous selection with something for everyone, and all beautifully prepared. But what truly made this holiday unforgettable was the people. Every single member of staff was kind, warm, and genuinely welcoming — nothing was ever too much trouble, and everything was done with a smile. They are a real credit to the resort. We would especially love to mention Film, Kungh, and Jan at the Crocodile Bar & Grill, and Sikhim at the pool bar (apologies if we’ve misspelled any names). You all made our days extra special — always remembering what we liked, always ready with a chat and a smile. Film and Kungh in particular were an absolute joy to be around — we’re so happy to now call you friends. Saying goodbye on our last night was incredibly emotional, and we miss you all so much already. A special thank you as well to our wonderful housekeeper, Gift, who kept our room spotless and smelling beautiful every single day. We also had the most amazing experience at the spa — the treatments were incredible, and we were made to feel completely relaxed and pampered from start to finish. We fell in love with Thailand, with Phuket, with this beautiful resort… but most of all, we fell in love with the kindness and warmth of the Thai people. ขอบคุณประเทศไทย เราจะกลับมาอีก Khob khun Prathet Thai, rao ja glap maa eek ❤️ Thank you, Thavorn Village Resort & Spa, for memories we will treasure forever 💛

Honestly the most beautiful hotel I have ever started at. The pool and the grounds are absolutely incredible, I’ve never seen such beautiful gardens. Even if you are not in one of the higher rooms it is well worth a ride in the cable car to see the views. Bring or buy a snorkel for the beach as there are so many fish and lots of coral to see even in the shallow water! All the staff are wonderful, I must give a special mention to Minnie who was so helpful during our check in and check out process as we realised we hadn’t booked enough nights. She was so kind and really looked after us. We also ate in the hotel restaurant on our last night and the Phuket special crab curry was one of the best meals I had over our whole 2 week stay. The lady who served us ( I didn’t get her name unfortunately) was absolutely lovely. Overall I would say do not hesitate to book this hotel. It is something you will never forget!

Incredible hotel with beautiful grounds, pool, restaurants and a lovely private beach which is great for snorkelling. Minnie took care of us as soon as we arrived and even managed our baggage so we could still enjoy the facilities after we had checked out. Huge variety of food for breakfast, catering for vegan/veggie/halal etc.

We had a lovely stay at the Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa. We stayed in one of the garden rooms, which was really nice, very spacious, with plenty of room for two people and a sofa bed that could accommodate another adult or a child if needed. We were on a half board package and the meals were very good. It was great value for money, and even though drinks are not included, they were reasonably priced and delicious, so it wasn’t an issue purchasing them with our meals. The breakfast buffet is brilliant and covers everything you could possibly want, including traditional breakfast options as well as solid staples like pad thai and steamed rice. The service from the restaurant teams is incredible. We would especially like to shout out Mai, Minnie, Jah, Paula, and Apple for always being so welcoming, attentive, and friendly. It was always a pleasure dining at the Marissa Terrace. We also had a brilliant basic Thai lesson, so a big thank you to the activities team as well. All in all, it is a great place to stay if you are looking for somewhere beautiful and a little quieter. It is not far from all the action in Patong Beach, but far enough away to enjoy a peaceful rest after a day there. The team are also very helpful if you need assistance booking excursions. There is a desk at reception to help with this. Housekeeping was excellent, and we appreciated the resort’s focus on sustainability. The daily water top ups were a lifesaver in the heat. The resort itself is stunning, with a private beach, beautiful gardens, and striking statues throughout, plenty of spots for photos, and everything is kept very clean.
