Thavorn Beach Village & Spa

My stay at Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa was far from a vacation; it was a failed trip defined by deceptive service and gross negligence. Despite the 5-star label, a large rat was found on my pillow—an incident the hotel formally acknowledged as an 'unfortunate occurrence' in writing. I was pressured into signing an agreement because management refused any refund, leaving me—a foreign traveler with no immediate alternatives—with no choice but to accept. Furthermore, they failed to provide me with a copy of this document; I only have a record of it because I took a photograph myself. The situation only deteriorated from there. The late checkout offered as 'compensation' became a safety hazard when I found the keycard they gave me was dead(not working). I was trapped and unable to enter or exit my room for over an hour. Despite multiple calls for help, the front desk staff blatantly ignored me, even putting me on hold with music while I was in the middle of speaking. Ultimately, I was forced to climb into my room through the balcony via the pool area—a dangerous and absurd situation I had to endure just to access my belongings and go out for meals. The hotel’s current defense—claiming that my continued stay implied satisfaction—is a manipulative attempt to gaslight an isolated traveler. The hygiene failure was disturbing, but the management's disregard for guest safety and their deceptive tactics are truly frightening. As an experienced traveler, this was the worst experience I have ever had. I strongly advise anyone considering this resort to think twice.

I had a good time The staff were kind and very generous! Peachii was one of the kindest always asking to help... Moolan was also very nice and good service and a smail. The rooms are beautiful the food is good and a lot of it.... the Poole is good and big. had a good tt thanks to Peachii,and Moolan !!!!!.

Arrived early and the front desk Chuty is very understanding and friendly, looking forward the next day here

We spent a wonderful holiday in Thavorn hotel from May 1st to May 10th 2026. It is a lovely and peaceful place with beautiful garden, sea view and swimming pool! The only annoying thing for me was air conditioner in the room (sea view house). It is so noisy, so it was impossible to sleep. We turned it off for the night, but it became too hot by morning. The rest was great! Hotel staff is very polity and positive. There are couple places to eat at the hotel territory. We liked a lot Crocodile barbecue bar! The menu is not very variable but everything is very tasty and quality is really high. Thanks a lot to Crocodile's team: Joom, Film, Kate. They were very friendly and attentive!
