We loved this resort. Dont let the distance put you off. it's worth it. An hour tops less off peak from the airport. From check-in to check out 6 days later, it was fabulous. Our garden view room was 1 row back from the beach but with a beach view. The pool lagoon was huge and never crowded. No seating issues at all. So safe for families. A peaceful spot that didn't warrant leaving but also a short ride to Patong or other beaches. If you want to explore.The petting animals each morning and late afternoon, a lovely moment of fun, were so carefully looked after but 2 wonderful men who interacted so well with young and old alike. Joon, who was serving drinks and food, was so lovely. Jan, who worked afternoons at the bar/ restaurant, is an amazing lady who took time to learn our names and was so switched on that she made everything run seamlessly. Truly a remarkable lady. The food was great, breakfast was well worthwhile, and the cocktails were awesome. The resort is kept pristine and swept. We admired the pool staff who were always meticulously cleaning the lagoon pool. The pool units looked great, water at your deck. Jan, who did our cleaning each day, was a quiet welcome, great worker. Would happily go back.

Lovely hotel, we had a beach front bungalow which was amazing, i spoke to reception to have 2 sunbeds on the beach directly infront of our bungalow which was fine, each day he put them out with our bits on towels books etc, unfortunately an American lady came and threw them off and sat on them she was from the rooms up the hill, i called the reception they came down to which she had a go at me and the receptionist You pay premium to have that luxury just outside your room The hotel need to say this ( large area with beds on beach just off the bungalows) so she was just being awkward!!!!! Scooters etc run way to fast around the resort dangerous Childrens petting area is horrendous, children who think the rabbits chickens piglets are toys, had to step in when kids picking up rabbits by their ears and strangling the chickens whilst parents videoed 😩😩also dropping the rabbits from great heights Needs to be more supervised

We booked two nights at Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa during high season, paying a premium price for what we expected to be a luxurious, relaxing experience, especially since we were attending a close friend’s wedding. What we got instead was an absolute nightmare centered on severely contaminated and rusty brown hot water that made basic hygiene impossible. From the moment we turned on the shower in our unit, disgusting brown, rusty water poured out. It wasn’t just discoloured. It looked and smelled like it was coming straight from ancient, corroded pipes or failing hot water heaters. Our room was hands-down the worst affected, but this seems to be a widespread issue tied to the property’s aging infrastructure. Multiple reviews mention similar brown water problems, so clearly management hasn’t fixed the root cause. We couldn’t even shower in our own room for the entire stay. Imagine arriving after travel, dressed for a wedding, and being forced to shuttle back and forth to use a different shower facility just to get clean. The staff shuttled us to another area for showers and back during the actual wedding day because the water in our unit was literally undrinkable and unusable. How is this acceptable in a supposed 5-star resort? When we complained, the staff offered zero meaningful compensation. No refund, no partial credit, no free night… nothing. They wouldn’t even discuss money off our bill. The best they could muster was a “free shuttle” (which we were already using because of THEIR problem). We felt completely dismissed and taken advantage of. Paying top dollar in high season for a “luxury” experience only to be unable to shower properly is ridiculous and unacceptable. A true 5-star property doesn’t let guests suffer through contaminated water and then refuse to make it right. The beautiful grounds and private beach can’t mask this level of neglect and poor management. Save your money and your sanity. Go somewhere else in Phuket. This place is coasting on outdated facilities and false advertising. 1 star is generous. Would not recommend to anyone.

JAN was a great staff and was super helpful! Always welcoming and smiling and playful with my baby. She made sure the customers coming weee satisfied and happy with the service.
