The property is beautiful and they are constantly upgrading. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite with our own pool on top. Everything was very nice and updated and having your own private pool was something I had not done before at a Hotel, so that was nice. It is across the street from Surin beach and also has shuttles to other beach locations. Overall it was very convenient. The food at the Hotel was great, but what really made the experience was our personal butler named XOR. XOR took care of all of our questions, reservations, asks, and even gave us his personal number to call 24x7 on anything we needed. He made it very easy to enjoy the resort as well as Phuket. I would highly recommend this property because of XOR. Thanks! -Mark

Twinpalms is the perfect mix of relaxation without the feeling of claustrophobia. The accessibility of this place with the many things on offer can't be beat in this location. Whether you decide to spend a day by the pool, or take the shuttle to the beach lounges or restaurants - getting out and about is just so simple so you never feel closed in - which is quite important to me. There are taxi services just outside the hotel too if you want to go further afield. The biggest selling point of Twinpalms is most definitely how monopolised they are in the area. And the quality of each touch point is seamless. We tried Catch, HQ and Palm Seaside and actually went to back to Palm for dinner even when we had checked into The Surin. Having lived and spent most of my vacations in the Mediterranean, the calibre of these venues are equal to Mykonos, seaside Athens or south of France which is my yardstick. They have clearly poured money into the venues, their menus and the training of their people. The vibe of the hotel and its lounges and bars are cool, lively and there is always a buzz. There were some young families, thirty-something couples and friends just enjoying the weather and company. Everyone was in a good mood, and no-one was acting like a jerk...which is always nice. Surin Beach is actually a beautiful beach. Yes it is an unsightly walk but once there, it's most definitely enjoyable. The hotel has a butler service which will take you there and ensure you're on their beachcombed part too. Back to the hotel. I booked the most basic room and was still very impressed. The bed is a super king and extremely comfortable, like in the top 3 beds I've ever slept in around the world. The first couple days I was glued to it. Bathroom, closet space, patio leading out to the pool - no complaints on any of that. The pool is fantastic and my favourite thing about it is that it is quite personal and private while still being able to enjoy a bit of buzz with other guests. Really easy and great poolside food too. Service is A1, with 5 star customer attention. Small touches on arrival were jasmine bracelets and welcome drink while checking in on the lounges. This was welcome on our 11pm arrival after 9 hours. Everyday I had a spa treatment in the hotel's spa. Everyday? Everyday! Having 20% off the treatments pretty much meant that I paid not taxes or service charges and got a tiny bit off as a discount after that. The girls are all experienced, and the space is so clean. The stand out treatments were the Zen Facial and Indian Head Massage. Get the Indian Head Massage. Thai Herbal Compress felt amazing and is a very different type of treatment. Recommended. This was my first time in Thailand and to Phuket. I have long avoided it because I really didn't want to be confronted by sex tourism or perpetuate it through my holiday dollars. I purposely chose a hotel away from Patong and left with only positive impressions because of the location. Only annoying occurance was the upstairs room. Late at night their heavy steps back and forth were extremely loud. I don't know what the solution is, but it is louder than I've ever heard. That said, I'd still prefer a room on the ground floor for convenience. It took some time for us to decide whether we would stay at Twinpalms or The Surin. Both are great hotels but also very different. The Surin's beach is 100% worth seeing but you can only really get there if you're a guest. Consider also that Thai beaches can be quite wavy in the low season too. In the end we spent most of our days at Twinpalms and the final two at Surin. While we liked both, Twinpalms just suited us more. It was just the right pace.

We booked here last minute, when our long planned honeymoon Vietnam trip was suddenly cancelled. We came to an oasis! Clean, calm, classy, holistic, picturesque resort. Perfect for honeymoons! My wife used to work with flowers, and we got to choose what kind of fresh flowers to be decorated every day in our apartment. Small things making the stay really great. Staff was lovingly all the way. Specially the breakfast-team and lady Pronnapa! One small thing I thought of, is that it should have been a "all inclusive resort." At Twin Palms you have to pay all along you stay - for breakfast, sun towel, transport - even water if you drink more than 1.5 litres - only the wifi and self made standard tea from you apartment water boiler is complimentary (not the water). Since we stayed there quite a while, you always get reminded that this stay costs. Of course it does, but I like to pay in advance, so that you dont have to think about economy while lying there with your feet in the lovely water. This is just a personal thought, and others may like it as it is. So for me it is still a full-star experience.

From the welcoming champagne to the friendly and engaging team at Twinpalms we had a wonderful stay. Rooms were large and well appointed. We had a problem with TV and it was promptly fixed with a follow up call next day to confirm satisfaction. We had an unwell friend with us and they could not have been better, with offers of assistance and even a bunch of flowers as they started to improve. This is a quality and lovely place which we will try to go back to. Highly recommend.

My party (of five adults) spent four nights in Twinpalms,Phuket that were very enjoyable indeed. Hotel - The hotel is of a modern design, although it is a bit unusual, in that they have a (second) restaurant and (two) Beach Clubs that are offsite. Although a very good hotel shuttle will drop you off, and pick you up on an hourly basis. Location - Not too far from the beach. Plenty of restaurants, shops and massage places all around the hotel, and a short taxi ride into the Laguna area, or a slightly longer one into the madness of Patong. Room - The room that we had, accommodated all five of us with ease, which is no mean thing. (Special thanks to Som-O for assisting when needed) Restaurants- Breakfast food and service could be improved upon, as we found the service quite sporadic. Palm Seaside on the other hand was something very special indeed, in all aspects. Staff - As we have found in any Thailand hotel that we have visited, the staff are a pleasure to have dealings with. Summary - A very nice hotel, in a brilliant location, with great rooms, and very attentive staff. You can't ask for much more when you're on your family holidays.
