We’ve just returned from a truly wonderful stay at Bagni di Pisa, and I can honestly say it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome by Andrea (Front Office Manager). Every member of the team was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful, creating an atmosphere that immediately put us at ease. Our bedroom was quite simply one of the best hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. Beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and perfectly in keeping with the charm of the property. The spa experience was simply exceptional. A place of complete tranquillity and relaxation. A great choice of pools, peaceful surroundings, and overall ambience made it very easy to switch off and fully unwind. Dining was another real highlight. The food was of a very high standard, beautifully presented, and enjoyed in a setting that perfectly complements the elegance of the hotel. Most importantly, it gave my wife and I exactly what we were looking for, utter relaxation in a stunning environment, with impeccable service throughout. A truly special place that we will absolutely return to.

We stayed at Bagni di Pisa expecting a relaxing, well-run experience, but sadly it fell far short of what a hotel calling itself a “palace” should deliver: • We had arranged a car transfer well in advance, but on the very morning of our arrival we were suddenly told no car was available and had to take a taxi. Not acceptable for this level of hotel. • At check-in, we were told we could have a light lunch at the bar on the second floor. After waiting there, we were informed no lunch would be served that day. • At breakfast, when a focaccia got stuck in the toaster, instead of offering help, a staff member scolded me, despite my apology. • The so-called “express laundry service” advertised was met with confusion, as if staff had never heard of it. • Around the pool, no drinks are served at all. Guests must go all the way inside the hotel to the bar themselves — which completely ruins the experience of relaxing by the outdoor pool. • In general, service was consistently slow and disorganized. Most staff speak little English, so requests often had to be repeated several times. The property itself has historic charm, but the service, attention to detail, and overall hospitality are far from what one should expect at this price point. Overall, the hotel is a also bit run down as the pictures show .... Unfortunately, Bagni di Pisa simply does not live up to the standards of a true luxury palace.

They claimed this to be a 5 star hotel. I would read it as a 2 1/2 star hotel, and that's being nice. thankfully, we are only staying here 2 nights They need to bring this hotel out of the 70s and maybe into the 2000s. The quality of pictures and furniture in the room are horrendous. I would not recommend this thermal to any person wanting to restore their well-being Last October we stayed at the Grotta Giusti Therme for 10 days and that is clearly a 5 Star Therme Hotel.

On arriving at the hotel it looks beautiful. Check in was fast with a very lovely welcome. We were taken to our room which was on the first floor. The room was incredibly hot and basic, decor incredibly tired and in need of replacement. The air conditioning units were very loud and actually gave no cooling at all so we turned them off. The shower had temperamental hot water and was small, however, was kept clean. This is absolutely not a 5 star hotel, maybe 3 tos (UK Standard) - no tea and coffee facilities in the room although this was provided eventually after much persistence on our part. The majority of staff in the hotel are delightful, so friendly and accommodating - breakfast team, not so much! Breakfast eggs always cold! As this was a work trip and thankfully paid for my my employer otherwise for the price being charged I would have had to complain! The staff make the hotel, but sadly the hotel needs a lot of work!

The place is very nice, the staff is very courteous, rooms are very large and so are the bathrooms. They really need to do a better job at having signs everywhere directing you to the various areas, pools, etc. I have mobility issues and I ended up walking around forever to find certain things. They do give you a tour, but I didn’t take it cause again I have mobility issues so I suggest highly that they need to revisit the situation and add signs everywhere. My only disappointment due to having a mobility issues was that unfortunately not every pool especially the one I favored and only one with jets was very accessible. They need to update their small pools with rails to get up/down the steps and into the water. Unfortunately, there’s no way for them to update the internal pool in the lowest level because one way or the other, you still have to go down and up down to reach it.. I do have to say that the breakfast which was included, was amazing and the service as well. However, tge prices at the restaurant, but especially at the bar were extremely expensive. We skipped the dinner because it was utterly ridiculous as far as prices, so I wanted to patronize the establishment at least once for lunch and I ended up paying €35 for a mere small salad, a Coke and ice cream. The Coke was 6€ and the ice cream 14.€, worse than Switzerland. The actual little salad plate was more worth it than the Coke and the ice cream. If they want to have more business in their food establishments, they need to lower their prices. Overall, a nice stay, and I would go back!

The Spa, itself, was lovely - staff was helpful and kind and the services offered were above average.
