Dolphin Bay Resort & Spa

We absolutely love staying at Dolphin Bay Resort & Spa! This has become one of our favorite places on the Central Coast, and with our daughter starting at Cal Poly next year, we know we'll be back many times throughout the year. From the moment you arrive, the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Every team member we've encountered has been friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. Their hospitality is one of the biggest reasons we keep coming back. The property itself is beautiful and impeccably maintained. Everything feels clean, fresh, and well cared for. The suites are another standout—they're huge, beautifully updated, and incredibly comfortable. Having all the extra space makes it feel more like a luxury home than a hotel, which is perfect for longer stays or family weekends. The location overlooking the ocean is hard to beat, and it's the perfect place to relax after a busy day. Whether you're visiting Pismo Beach for a vacation or, like us, planning frequent trips to see a student at Cal Poly, Dolphin Bay is an easy choice. Highly recommend—5 stars all the way. We can't wait for our next visit!

Fantastic location! The staff is exceptional - very friendly, attentive and truly there to make sure that you have the best time. The food and the service in Lido Restaurant on site was superb - fun Happy Hour, too! When we didn’t feel like going out, we just cooked a nice meal in the well equipped kitchen in our room - great markets in the area and the best Italian deli (with to go/bake at home meals and salads that are really good) right next door. This is a great spot for couples, friends and families alike - enjoy the pool/spa and catch the sunset with a short walk down to the beach!

We had a fabulous stay at Dolphin Bay Resort in Pismo Beach! Our two-bedroom, two-bath unit was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The service was impeccable from everyone we encountered—from the front desk staff and housekeeping team to the pool attendants. Everyone was friendly and attentive. The grounds were beautifully maintained and exceptionally clean. Although the resort is dog-friendly, the staff does an outstanding job keeping everything tidy. Every morning, we saw staff out maintaining the property, making sure the grounds stayed pristine. One of our favorite features was the walking trail behind the resort. It stretches for miles along the coastline, offering beautiful waterfront views and plenty of opportunities for leisurely walks. The pool was wonderful, and with water temperatures around 85 degrees, it made for a perfect day. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We’re already hoping to return and repeat the experience. Dolphin Bay Resort made for a truly memorable getaway, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Pismo Beach.

What a wonderful experience. Not something we can afford to do often. The room was spacious and had everything you would need. Even a 12 cup coffee maker so we could bring our favorite coffee. View of the ocean great food but the most memorable part, the staff. Every person we encountered made us feel like they were our partner to accomplish whatever we were trying to do. Get somewhere in a wheelchair, carry something for us. It didn’t matter. I like to think I am a good judge of when someone is genuine. The staff here are. Thanks for the experience.
