Hotel resides drectly on the beach with a breath taking view to the ocean. Suits really spacious and clean. Pool is big enough for the size of the hotel, clean and service at the pool area also very good. In all fairness, we have been warned by the hotel staff that there is a wedding during the weekend we stayed there. However, when we checked into the high reputational restaurant for dinner with two kids, they were happy to take our orders. After drinks were not coming and starters were not served after 45 minutes, our complaint was followed up by a very arrogant response by the waiters. When checking out we mentioned the incidence, staff only offered a short excuse and let us go even without any bottle of water, normally a standard service when leaving.

We found the hotel on-line by using the ratings from trip advisor. We were not disappointed. We stayed in a monstrous 1 Bedroom condo that had a partial view of the Pool and Ocean. It was very well appointed, clean and quiet. The complex is very family friendly, with an excellent pool. We toured around local wineries quite a bit so we didn't see a lot of the staff, though they were friendly when we did interact. Use the free bikes and ride into Pismo Beach. The tasting menu at the restaurant has so much food you better be hungry.

For the past 3 years we have driven the long 15 minute drive from San Luis Obispo and as soon as I hand my car keys to Kris N. (The kindest, most helpful valet/bellhop/jack of all trades) my worries are over! Even though it is so close to home we look forward to kicking back beach side with friends and family and the Dolphin Bay has everything we need. Great food from chef Jacob Moss, killer old fashions for me, mojitos for my wife. The pool is perfect, the hot tub is warm and the beach is steps away...it's tough to leave the pool though when they deliver that great food and those drinks! We are already looking forward to booking our next visit.

The hotel is first class! We had a one bedroom with a pool view. Everything in the room was great very well laid out and homey. Everyone from the guy that met us as we pulled up to the guy doing yard work was very pleasant! Would definitely stay here again!
