Banyan Tree Mayakoba

I was lucky enough to stay at Banyan Tree Mayakoba for a week and experience the full attention and care of the staff there. From Gaby in the Sands reception/concierge, to Rafael at Cello, Juan Jose at Tomahawk, and the amazing team including Gamaliel, Edwin, and Jesus on the beach—everyone showed an attention to detail and genuine interest that made the trip unforgettable. Through a combination of English and Spanish I was able to discover the kindness and dedication of everyone who crossed our path throughout our stay. While those mentioned went above and beyond, the consistent dedication of the staff at Banyan Tree Mayakoba went beyond politeness to truly elevate the entire experience of the resort.

We had an amazing time and were particularly looked after by an amazing Waiter at the sandys Beach called Gamaliel. He was very attentive and made our whole stay so special.

Hendricks, Pallacios and Jonathan at Sands breakfast and bar were very attentive, hard working, friendly & just amazing to spend our mornings with! They treated our family just like their own.

Every detail reflects dedication and excellence: from the buggy drivers who always greet us with a smile, to the impeccable housekeeping staff who leave our rooms looking perfect every day. And down at the beach, the service is simply first-rate; the staff are always attentive, friendly, and make every moment feel special. The breakfast service is spectacular, featuring a top-notch buffet and wonderful attention every morning. Lunch on the beach—whether at Sands or Sur—is always a delicious experience, especially when we are being pampered by Chef Henry and his entire team. We also thoroughly enjoyed the opening of Suna; everything was truly delicious, and we thank the chefs for their dedication and creativity. As for the Spa, words are simply not enough to describe the professionalism of the staff who welcome us; they are always attentive and kind. The massage therapists are simply extraordinary. Every visit is an experience of incomparable relaxation and well-being. All the restaurants are absolutely delicious! The person who assists us over the phone or through WhatsApp always ready to resolve any issue with kindness and efficiency—makes a real difference and demonstrates the truly special level of care provided by this hotel. .
