Banyan Tree Mayakoba

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We’ve had an amazing stay at Banyan Tree Mayakoba. The resort is absolutely beautiful, the beach is incredible, and the entire property has such a peaceful, luxurious atmosphere. The service has been exceptional from the moment we arrived. A special shoutout to Jesus at the beach. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made our time by the beach even more enjoyable. He consistently checked in on us, made sure we had everything we needed, and provided fantastic service with a great attitude. Jesus truly made us feel welcomed and taken care of. Overall, Banyan Tree Mayakoba has been an incredible experience, and the service from the staff is a huge part of what makes this place special. We would absolutely love to come back!

Gamaliel at Banyon Tree was amazing! He gave such great service. He was kind and friendly and very helpful. I recommend Banyon Tree and the server Gamaliel to anyone!!! He made the trip better!!!

The Banyan Tree Mayakoba was an absolutely amazing experience! My husband and I went for a short getaway without kids, and we were not disappointed! This resort is all about luxury and indulgence. The rooms are spacious and extremely well appointed. There is every amenity you could wish for, and more. There was an outdoor shower AND bathtub (in addition to the indoor shower). We had our own private pool AND hot tub. There was nice Nespresso coffee (included). The restaurants were easy to access and had wonderful food. The breakfast buffet at The Oriente was very diverse, and had many local Mexican options in addition to more traditional options. We had breakfast at The Sands beach club which was equally wonderful. You must try the Iced Vanilla Latte! But, by far the BEST part of this resort are the wonderful people who work there. Everyone without exception was extremely friendly and polite. The servers are 100% on pointe.....we never once felt pressured to constantly buy things; instead, their timing was impeccable. They were there when you wanted the next drink, but never hovered or pressured. This was artfully done by everyone we encountered. The housekeeping was also absolutely amazing. Every attention to detail was mastered....laying slippers out by our bed at turndown service, aromatherapy, turning on the pool lights in the evenings for a soothing entrance, arranging toiletries, placing a towel under a wet dripping swimsuit...everything. We had Bianca, and she did an outstanding job. I cannot say enough about the people who work at this resort. The grounds were immaculately manicured. Pristine. Pools were clean. Bathrooms were immaculate. We will definitely be returning as soon as we can find the time in our schedule! Highly recommend without reservation.

Amazing property, beach was exceptional service with unreasonably friendly staff. Jesus at the beach became a part of our plans! Italian. Mediterranean. Mexican. Japanese. Thai. This place is fantastic.

Jesus is the best ever at the beach! His attention to detail is too notch. Can’t wait to see him again!
