Banyan Tree Mayakoba

We have had the most wonderful week at Banyan Tree. A few specific shout-outs: Edson was an incredible host by the pool bar. We had a fantastic conversation about different tequilas and then he helped us choose some new ones to sip on and try. (He also helped me make a delicious drink off menu when I wanted something without sugar!) Cristobal at the same bar was also excellent, and we were so impressed with his tortilla salt creation! Raul, too, helped us find pool seats and was kind and accommodating. Paco by the beach. What a guy! Every day we were there with our big group, including two small children, and he was attentive, patient, and super friendly. Not to mention the drinks and food came out quickly, which was super helpful with small kids. If you're there during the Catch of the Day hour, you must get it. Absolutely delicious ceviche and tacos. Thank you, Paco, for your wonderful hosting! Daniel and Marco at breakfast each day were also incredible, attentive, and kind. We loved seeing them every morning. Sonia and Sarai were also standouts helping us plan our week, and always checking in to see if we needed anything in our villa. Overall, we were blown away by the kindness of the staff at Banyan Tree. We will definitely be back and recommending to friends! Thank you!

We absolutely love Banyan Tree- this is the best place to visit if you are looking for the perfect balance between nature, great beach and amazing service! I have a few people that I would love to mention as they truly made our experience amazing and made us feel at home. A huge shoutout to Juan, Victor and Edwin who were our waiters at the beach almost every single day of our stay! From day one, they made us feel so welcome with their kindness, warm personality, and genuine care. These guys are one of those rare people who goes above and beyond without even trying — always smiling, always attentive, and always making sure everything was perfect. They remember us from our stays every single year and care so much to ask and make sure everything is perfect. I am simply impressed by how they do business and how professional and caring they are. I wang note also Juan Oropeza- he is so kind and super accommodating helping throughout our stay to make sure everything was taken care of and me and my daughter had the best experience. Professional, kind and super helpful. Marco from Oriente- that with his genuine smile makes you feel at home. People like these are hard to find and truly deserve the best as they deliver the best. I never take the time to write reviews but our stay has been made better because we felt right at home thanks to all your amazing staff that come to work everyday and care about what they deliver. My wife and I enjoyed our stay here so much! It was our 2nd stay here at banyan tree and it is paradise. We want to give a special thank you to Jorge at Sands beach club. He took care of us there everyday and made sure we were comfortable with amazing drinks and even helped us to order from the breakfast menu later in the day. Thanks Jorge!

Our stay at Banyan Tree Mayakoba was truly unforgettable. This was our first trip traveling as a family with our baby, and the team made the experience feel effortless from start to finish. They thought of every detail and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. What impressed me most was how prepared they were for families. From a pack-and-play to a baby monitor and other thoughtful amenities, they had everything we needed and more, which made packing and traveling with a baby so much easier. A special thank you to Angel from the concierge team, who helped coordinate details throughout our stay and made everything seamless. At the beach, Francisco (“Paco”) took incredible care of us and made our time there especially relaxing. The service at Banyan Tree Mayakoba is truly exceptional, and we’re so grateful for such a memorable first family trip. We can’t wait to return.

Visited Banyan Tree for a couples getaway and it was truly one of the best vacations I’ve ever gone on. Tucked away from any main roads in the safe, private, and luxe community of Mayakoba, Banyan Tree is one of the most serene hotel settings in and truly makes you feel like you’re immersed in nature. From the surrounding wildlife to the daily breakfast buffet and more than one beach club to choose to spend your day at, I couldn’t have chosen a better place to retreat. My favorite part about the experience was hands down the service and staff. Never before have I met such caring and professional people - everybody you interact with wears a warm smile, makes sure your needs are met, and treats you with top-tier care and concern. We left the hotel in agreement that we’d never been on a vacation before where everyone was so passionate, trained, and warm. And if you’re lucky enough to get Jose as your concierge contact, know you’re in for a treat! He was very quick to respond to all of our requests - very kind and knowledgeable man. Already planning my return to this place!
