Banyan Tree Mayakoba

The Banyon Tree hotel is a fabulous and extensive property, beautifully laid out and with gorgeous design features. Our room (junior suite bliss pool) was incredible, the hotel service is fabulous and their restaurants are terrific. The food and service were excellent at each restaurant venue. One consideration: the restaurant prices are steep, equivalent to above New York City. We generally went for the lower-priced meals but dinners for two with a couple of drinks were in the $350-$400 range. All things considered, we were very happy to be there!!

We stayed at The Banyan and had the pleasure of having Gamaliel as our beach attendant. The hospitality throughout the resort was incredible, but he truly made our stay exceptional. There’s so much to do at the property, yet my wife and I hardly wanted to leave the beach because Gamaliel made sure we had everything we needed at all times. His attentiveness, warmth, and genuine care turned a great vacation into an unforgettable one. Thank you for making our experience so special!
