Banyan Tree Mayakoba

What a wonderful concept - beautiful grounds and villas offering complete privacy in a calm and restful environment. The housekeeping staff spent decent time every day making sure our villa was maintained to a very high standard. All staff were exceptionally well presented and super friendly - many remembering our names or even Villa number whilst we were there. We had one disappointing dining experience but we cannot fault how our feedback was taken on board with a face to face chat with the F&B Manager Karen. The issue was resolved in a way that far exceeded our expectations and you cannot ask for more than that - a high level of service was provided that shone in a time when service levels (particularly in the UK) are often sadly lacking. Our only consideration is that we felt the cost of dining at the hotel was comparatively expensive (£50 each for breakfast) but food was plentiful and the choice of restaurants provided for variety during our 7 night stay. Thank you to all the team at Banyan Tree - you should be very proud of the way you take care of your guests.

The Banyon Tree hotel is a fabulous and extensive property, beautifully laid out and with gorgeous design features. Our room (junior suite bliss pool) was incredible, the hotel service is fabulous and their restaurants are terrific. The food and service were excellent at each restaurant venue. One consideration: the restaurant prices are steep, equivalent to above New York City. We generally went for the lower-priced meals but dinners for two with a couple of drinks were in the $350-$400 range. All things considered, we were very happy to be there!!

I went to Banyan tree had a great time . Service was really great! Especially Gamaliel who helped us out with everything at the beach!

We had the best time at Sur especially! Jesus was so attentive & genuinely kind. He made us feel like we were the only people at the beach! We look forward to seeing Jesus on our next trip to Banyan Tree!
