The hotel is first class. The staff makes it. Irvin at the pool bar was the best. A workhorse. Jimmy and Daniel at Brisa’s were great too. And of course Raul and staff at the lobby bar. And Israel at Tauro. Tauro steak house is the best. We were a bit disappointed with the menu at the Italian restaurant. Only 1 chicken dish. No meat dishes, except for meat lasagna. A little weak. Fuego was just ok. Sushi at lobby was good. And Gaia was excellent. There is an abundance of pool and beach chairs which is huge. No worrying about getting up early to get a chair. The property is extremely clean. The room cleaners don’t bother you - ever - even if you sleep in. And when you return to your room it is always clean and spotless. We didn’t get room service because the restaurants are too good. The only thing I wish they had was 1 more swim up bar. (They have 1 at a smaller pool). This pool was always crowded. I think they should add one to one of the larger pools. All in all we will be back soon! 5 star.

Just an outstanding experience. We wouod go again and became completely relaxed within the day. The resort is sprawling and even at full capacity didn’t feel full. The service was excellent as well and the variety of restaurants were nice.

We have been to the Fairmont twice before, 2019& 2021. It has been remodeled very nicely, loved the rooftop bar by the beach, and the restaurants are all very good especially the steakhouse. The hotel is very upscale, service &staff were wonderful. Get the all inclusive option- the only way to go. We have to say the extra 21% tax & daily $60 resort fee took away from the experience-getting hit with a large bill on these extras definitely dampened the experience. Will be looking for a more economical option in the future

A last minute trip to recover from some tough life events. We have traveled all over, had not been to Mexico in a few years, came to FM on a recommendation. We were amazed and impressed. Highlight was Irene, our “butler”, who navigated the FM and made the trip decision free, which is what we need. Great options in terms of activities, restaurants, and pool versus beach.

We've stayed at Beach Villa in January and had a fantastic family vacation with our toddler. Alejandro was our butler and he was simply superb. He made our stay 100 times more comfortable/enjoyable especially when our little one got sick and he was able to get us some medicine from pharmacy. Our villa was very spacious and beautiful. The resort staff were also very welcoming. Would definitely recommend this Fairmont Mayakoba for anyone looking for relaxing stay!

We had an amazing 4-night stay at the Fairmont Mayakoba! Due to availability we had to pay for an upgrade to a casita and we were glad that we did, it was lovely and in a great location. Bottled water was plentiful and always available in the room. We enjoyed every meal we had and the breakfast buffet had every option available and was top quality! The resort staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The beach was beautiful and the beach side service was very good. They even came by and offered cucumber slices with a cool towel to rest your eyes, mango popsicle refreshments, both free and a very nice touch! We did not mind the golf cart service to the beach, which was a good distance from the rooms. They were easily found and it was a very pleasant ride as the resort property is a tropical jungle gem. The other highlight (not to be missed) is the on-property mangrove boat tour, again at no charge! Be sure to make a reservation for one of the morning tours, best animal viewing at that time. A great experience at the Fairmont Mayakoba!
