Central Location, Friendly Staff, Clean Rooms!
This hotel is right in the middle 5th Avenue directly in the action. I will say the music is very loud at night so definitely something to consider before staying at this property. However if you can sleep through it then you will find this to be an excellent property. The rooms are very clean and the customer service is excellent. Everyone of the staff we interacted with were so kind and courteous. I would definitely like to return but try the beach house rooms for my next visit to Playa Del Carmen.

AMAZING WEEKEND IN PLAYA DEL CARMINE
The Hyatt Centric Playa del Carmen (Downtown House) is perfect for those who want to be in the middle of the action on Quinta Avenida. The atmosphere is high-energy and adult-focused, with a stylish, lively rooftop pool. While rooms are chic, light sleepers should request a quiet room, as the nightlife nearby can be noisy. A huge plus is the access to the beautiful Beach House. The staff made our stay exceptional. Special thanks to Chef Goza for preparing a great kosher meal, Alfie for our reservation and room upgrades, and Juliet for providing the best service and drinks on the rooftop. We are already looking forward to coming back to the hotel soon!

in the middle of crazy
it was nice been there before, Hotel is nice roof top pool is beautiful but your in the middle of people pestering you, if they aren't offering your a massage with happy ending they are offering to sell you Charlie (cocaine) the stuff on the streets just gets old and annoying. unfortunately the hotel is right off of 5th in the middle of it all.
