The service at the Grand Hyatt hotel at Playa del Carmen was excellent. The waiter Franco was attentive and helpful. The sushi was very delicious. Franco explained all the sauces for our sushi. He helped us with choosing the right drinks. The scenery over the ocean with the breeze is absolutely amazing.

We went for a family members wedding. First time at this property. Very impressed by the luxurious views. So many people after fall pools with views overlooking the beach made for some great days in the sun. Staff always attentive and very friendly. Upgraded our room at checkin, no surprise fees, very easy check in and check out. Hard workers at this property and always fretting you with a smile. Wedding event, hands down one of the most beautiful I’ve seen. Staff was out to all hours setting up the staging. It was gorgeous.

Miguel was are waiter and was very attentive. Also very helpful with directions. The view was fantastic at the outside seating

Our cleaning lady deysi rodriguez was wonderful. Her work was immaculate and she was friendly. We appreciate her making our stay so much more pleasant. The yoga/pilates classes given by Angel were also beautiful as they were mostly held in the gorgeous and serene cenote spa. His music choices were also great. The Grant Hyatt is a beautiful hotel and has amazing service overall. Looking forward to our return .

Will be back! Amazing hotel, great location, great service. I (native to Mexico) travelled with my friends (native to Texas, USA - no Spanish). Was a tad iffy as this was my first time booking at a ”brand name” hotel in Mexico. I was pleasantly surprised with my stay - all amenities and rooms were amazing. We opted not to go with the “All Inclusive” package since we knew we’d be wanting to check out a bit more of the city and do excursions outside the hotel. The restaurants and bar areas around the resorts were amazing, though! The pseudo private beach area was a big win for us. Never had to worry about finding comfortable, shaded seating near the beach or pool. The day club never went on for too long so we were able to relax at night by the pool while listening to the waves. I just wish the coffee shop would be open at 6am or 6:30am as the excursions usually picked up around 7 which is exactly the time they’re currently open. Zaira Eunice and crew were absolutely fantastic hosts to myself and my friends. They were friendly and comforting. Hospitality was UNMATCHED!!! We cannot wait to be back.
