Bad
The customer service sucked. So did the breakfast takeaway. Got only 2 pieces of vegetable sandwich and a water bottle worth K55. The place is run down and it’s understandable but why r the workers and food going in the same direction.

"Best of the best 2025"
We are writing this at the start of 2026 after reflecting on our business travel in 2025 - and lots of adventures we had on the way. Working on an assignment in Port Moresby gave us a total between us of 13 weeks staying at the Grand Papua. What a pleasure! Though a modern international hotel in every way, it has an old-style ambience that the other big name hotels in the city don't have. This shows itself most of all in the staff team at the Grand Papua. We got to know many, and saw them as friends. We will mention some of the best of the best - Christopher at the poolside bar, Joan in the main restaurant, and Lorraine and the day and night teams at reception. All of them are exceptional ambassadors for the quality and charm that is exuded by this hotel. We will be so excited if we ever get the chance to return to PNG again. It is a hotel full of real people who genuinely care for their guests and who love what they do. Definitely best of the best for us in 2025. Sue & Duncan
